- This car is a replacement for Kelisa and Kancil. Its successor is the Perodua Axia.
This channel is mainly reviewing cars focusing on reliability and customer’s satisfaction. Most cars reviewed here are used cars which have been tested over time for reliability records. I don’t promote any particular brand of cars but I would like to give my audience the best and most honest opinion possible. While most cars reviewers never take into consideration of long term ownership and cost of keeping, I always point out the advantages and disadvantages of owning a car. I also don’t necessarily like new features which are prone to problems in the near future. I prefer cars that are long lasting with minimal cost of maintenance, road tax, and fuel consumption. However, recommendation of each car may vary depending on where you live considering there are difference in usage, road conditions, road tax, fuel cost and popularity of the cars.
Thank you for watching and I hope you subscribe to channel of you value good and reliable cars like me.
170++ km and still running a good 17km/litre. Manual transmission 1.0 Viva. I love it and its perfect for busy Singapore roads.
Thanks for sharing. I didn’t know that you have Viva in Singapore also.
@@wowcarwow yea theres some kelisa around too. Just no kancil. Nowadays perodua sell Bezza in SG only
@@cheungterence3783 I see. Great to know.
I love this car alot and even driven it from Penang, to KL, Melaka, Bukit Tinggi, Cameron Highland and down to Ipoh back to Penang again, all at once. It's an excellent car for me.
Thanks for sharing your experience. That’s a lot of places?
@@wowcarwow ya my West Malaysia personal tour
@@rachel3267 its 850 cc engine too miss? The viva car, that you use?
@@mikhanoon8708 yes. 850 cc, manual gear
Your spoken English is good. I bought a 2013 660cc Viva (new). 8 months later Axia came out. It has only 36000km. No problem. I need to change my driving style because no power when AC is on. Minimal engine noise in cabin.
Thanks for sharing
660cc is a bit underpowered. You drive very little. 8 years later, you only have 36000 km
@@aahslyynn Yes, only short distance. I also use my motorbike too. I take good care of it. Maybe in the future can sell. The Viva body style is better than Axia. I think Axia will END production next year & be replaced with new model.
A friend has one and i too think it's engine is quite noisy even at low speeds. But, its reliable and solidly constructed, despite the dull styling.
Very correct
Nice quick review, how the steering feels? Is it accurate and has feedback? and how is the car stability, suspension & is there body roll?
Pardon me for asking too many questions 😅
I have the 1.0 2010 and I'm pretty happy with it
What's the road tax and insurance for this car? 😌🙄
@@Araf_330 RM 130-120
@@Araf_330 road tax alone is RM20
The Axia is a big step up
Cute 🚙
can you review a naza ria in next video?
Hope to find one for a review. It’s now MCO again.
mine 2009 Viva 850 MT as well, passed from my dad hehehe for taking care, already 140++km...good for city drive, quite efficient... power delivery quite decent despite 850cc not to compare with 1.0 and 660cc...at that time ,the only specs equipped with goodies such as Alarm System,CD player, Power Windows.. Not to mention about airbags,ABS..that only available on Premium/Elite trim... But this 850/660 do not with power steering, and you may do some exercises while parking this car🤣🤣... But for the last batch Viva which is 2014 already equipped with Immobilizer and Dual Airbags too😆😆
Thanks for sharing.
City driving viva ni la enjoy bawak.. kalau long distance not the best..
Ima foreign student in Malaysia! Thinking about my 1st car in low budget to commute from A to B. Should I buy viva/proton gen 2(looks sporty) . Dont have any idea about maintenance cost, road taxes and insurance!
Please help me to choose 🙏
Get the Viva or the Myvi. A lot of people complain about the Proton. My friend used to have one and she got rid of it.
@@wowcarwow thanks for the suggestion!
They should just keep the Kelisa
Not same category. Brand new Kelisa was RM 42000.
Viva 850?
Yes
@@wowcarwow mine viva 850, what a good info mr. Keep going posting about viva 💪
@@davvvmmm thanks for the comment. I review cars stressing on reliability and long term ownership.
