What I read this when I was younger I always took the thing to be if you met someone who gave you solid proof that supernatural things existed. You would do anything to be around that person because it makes you feel special, even if there are negative consequences.

as a person who has watched this uh congillion times trust me its not goofy at all the mystery the romance is what's so beautiful and nostalgic about the twilight series its as if they put crack cocaine in this movie franchise the romance between edward and bella is so undeniably attractive like they're obsessed/addicted to each other and the reason why I continue to watch it uh congillion more times is cause I'm lowkey jealous I literally long for a soulmate or twin flame love a relationship like edward and bella as a kid watching this I never knew why people chose team edward over team jacob but now I know why Jacob isn't bellas soulmate it is and will always be edward she even said it no matter what she will always choose edward it would always be edward and now I know why nothing can match edward and bellas romance nothing can match they're relationship I have and will always be team edward ...

I watched this as a teenager n found it reeeaaally cool last weekend i tried to rewatch it for the sake of old time, I just couldn't stop laughing And what facinates me is how can someone way of seeing things change through time . But m still team edward😂. I just don't know how the actors could have filmed the hole movie while beeing serious.

Also, if he got rid of her, the plot would be ruined, and there would be no Edward, Bella, Jacob saga.
Although, another question would be the following:
If these vampires are suppose to be immortal, then why during the fight scenes do their heads and limbs get ripped off and they die, or get burned ?!? ....I guess we are not suppose to ask those questions ...a flaw in the plot ?
Actually Bella was different type of girl ,clumsy and used to talk less and in a different way (as mentioned in the books)...I think kritsen has done an absolutely good job with the character...😊

To be honest, I don't think that's true. One thing that remains the same throughout folklore of vampires is that it's forbidden to create vampire children because they are frozen in that age, they never age, not even mentally so it stands to reason that Edward, being bitten at 17 still has a 17 year old mind no matter how long he's been 17

I know a ton of people were really shocked by Stephenie Meyer changing some of the most common facts about vampires in most mythologies, but I actually really liked this attention. I think that here it is kind of crucial because it makes Bella very attracted to Edward (not that she wasn't already)! The only thing is, I just wished they stayed more consistent with this throughout the movies. In the end scene and some other ones, their skin isn't "sparkling" at all. I loved the differentness of the concept, but I just disliked that this famous "symbol" in the series was overlooked after the first movie.
Maybe the vampires evolved it after centuries of dying or being injured in sunlight.
I thought this was all so cool when I was 12 years old. I'm 25 now and watching random Twilight clips and I can't stop laughing.
i think was like 19 when they came out and my gf at the time was super into the books so i watched them and yeah back then i couldnt stop laughing the fight scenes were cool though

If you read the books they pretend to be as young as possible so they can stay in a area longer. They go through all the motions of high school, graduation, college, marriage, before they eventually have to move away because they aren’t aging.

I personally kinda like the way twilight’s universe portrays vampire’s skin . because they are cold and dead so technically they wouldn’t have blood running through they’re bodies so their skin glowing like crystals and having that shell crackly type of body structure when they tear each other heads off or some is kinda dope . maybe just me . then on top of how vampires supposed to have that “lure in they prey” type of aesthetic , it’s like a little trap that they just shine like diamonds but are demon blood sucking superhumans
