While they are building EPIC , I still love that universal is updating its original parks, I love the new minions area and Minions cafe. It’s a smart business move to have 3 great parks rather than everyone wanting to go to the new one .
If they want people to stay a full week then they will require 3 amazing parks. I expect more investment into the other 2 parks (specifically Universal studios) before epic opens.
Here in Hollywood, the animal actors building is gone and the special effects stage soon to go as well. Rumor is that we’re getting a high speed roller coaster based off the Fast and Furious
Universal won't say anything until it's nearly complete. They're very tight-lipped. I think it's a great strategy that allows for changes when necessary.
It makes sense that they are not marketing it. Thinka bout it, if you market that a new park is going to open in 2 years some people will just wait until it opens to go to Universal also, they might want to announce it as they get closer to the opening day, just in case, they can't get it open in time.
@@baylorfrisco8982 The thing I love about Universal is that the people behind it are clearly thinking of the long term investment. Yeah, this is all expensive, but the people are already falling in love with it all, and it's going to make loads for them. I can't wait to see what comes after Epic Universe.
Hope this park lives up to its name. Ever since my first trip to Tokyo Disney Resort about 10 years ago, I’ve realized how far WDW has fallen since the late-90s glory days of Epcot and Disney-MGM (before its “Hollywood Studios” rebrand). Pandora and Galaxy’s Edge don’t compare to Tokyo DisneySea or (more recently) Shanghai DL. Come on, Universal! Blow us away in the United States!
Disney has definitely not “fallen” they’ve only continued to grow. And like any big organization there are growing pains. I love both universal and disney equally. They don’t do the same things
I’m always so sad that these videos don’t last longer haha. I wonder if the crowd stands near the dragon coaster will have a dual purpose. Perhaps water cannons, fog cannons, or fire elements that guests can interact with to enhance the experience of riders on the coaster? On the other hand, the constant fog for the monsters land sounds SO COOL!
@@m1lk0medahey are common, you just need to look for some of them. I do think that it is more common to find them in Islands though, but to be fair most of the rides/attractions in Studios are indoors
ALL looks like it’s gonna be spectacular when finished, tears definitely will be shed, I cried walking into Universal when Harry Potter was built, I can only imagine when all these lands are open, just reliving my entire childhood and taking my kids through Nintendo…just gonna be mind blowing.
@@eloritetitus2376 Don't count on it...still so much to be done. You're only seeing the skeletons of the buildings going vertical which always goes up in a hurry. Lots and lots of work to be done still.
God those hotel descriptions sound incredible, such a low cost option for a big and unique payoff! This is going to be such a spectacular resort expansion, brilliant design-work and thoughtfulness overall.
There were many EPIC video updates this past week but I waited for this one because of the narrator. I can not wait for this park to open! I lived near Islands of Adventure when it was being built!
I’ve already been talking to my sister about making an Orlando trip for Epic Universe sometime in winter 2026. My niece Aria will be 8 years old then, so I’m really curious to see if she’ll be tall/brave enough to ride Starfall Racers with the rest of us. But either way, her brother is really into Mario right now, so they’ll definitely love Super Nintendo World.
Thank you for the constant updates on the park Alicia! Congrats on The Trevor Project! It really is a great cause! You should totally do a Park Stop Meetup when Epic Universe opens!
I hate it when your videos end i live the details you bring to theme park updates and your voice is very nice too 😊 thank you for all that you do and I'll be waiting for the next update
The fact that they have way more rollercoasters is crazy! They know its a hit when they theme it EPIC universal style. Velocicoaster and Hagrids really paved for future endeavors.
It’s so crazy to be alive while a theme park is being built and experiencing all of this… and once it’s opened looking back at all the construction in full detail will also be crazy
Considering the galaxy theme of the hotels and the fact that Super Nintendo World is an area in Epic Universe, I would love to see a Rosalina meet and greet in one of the hotels.
Even though I don’t like super thrilling roller coasters, I think I can handle them all in this park. The racing coasters won’t have super big drops will they? I think Donkey Kong might be a scary ride because of that new coaster element.
Queen Alicia, I’ve missed your voice❤ I’m so excited! I’ve need seen a park being built, the hotels look so cool just hope the two across the street are cheap like endless summer ones.
Can't wait to see the Monsters Land but I don't think the fog will last more then a year unless it is not thick enough to block people's vision of where they walk. :( Thanks for the Update! Means a lot! :D
It's possible it will be a water vapor based fog effect, similar to the ones along the paths at Skull Island, so not as thick as something like Halloween Horror Nights.
It blows my mind just how fast they can make so much progress. Meanwhile, my home park has been working on a new roller coaster for 5+ years, and still not done yet lol...
Love these updates, have been following along to see it all progress, and I have to say you cover it all brilliantly! Now what we want to know is, when can we hear about prices and booking? hahaha
They're really burning up the tracks building this place. While i don't care too much about Nintendo, given it's pretty much a repeat, the rest looks like they're not only knocking it out of the park, but all the way into the ocean. I'm particularly happy that they're keeping the central zone IP-less. The creative team always does a banger of a job when they're not constrained by IP... that carousel is going to be stunning.
The IPs chosen though were very thoughtful and rather timeless in their own right. Early 20th century Paris? Victorian era village and monsters? Vikings and Dragons? Nintendo is the odd ball here but a world of castles, princess, and lost temples I think also fits nicely in the vein of adventure and interactivity the park seems to be designed around.
It's so weird seeing a brand new park being built and seeing it all being set up, but with all that dirt. I bet laying the concrete is the construction peoples worst nightmare 😆
i don't think the fog effect in the dark universe land is a good idea because although it adds to immersion within the land, i think the moisture will damage surfaces of walls
For the first year after opening Universal is going to have to maintain a strict reservation system to manage the enormous crowds that will show up for the park.
Be sure to subscribe and stay tuned for our upcoming podcast for new rumored ride details coming soon!

Exactly. They need to expand where they can and revamp all of Studios. Add in a few more thrill rides to both sides.
Your update videos are better marketing than anything Universal is doing.
They seriously have me thinking about getting opening day tickets.
Universal won't say anything until it's nearly complete. They're very tight-lipped. I think it's a great strategy that allows for changes when necessary.
You don't need marketing 2 years away. Plus, this park will easily be at or near capacity for weeks after opening. They have nothing to worry about.
It makes sense that they are not marketing it. Thinka bout it, if you market that a new park is going to open in 2 years some people will just wait until it opens to go to Universal also, they might want to announce it as they get closer to the opening day, just in case, they can't get it open in time.
This keeps on growing so fast. The cladding for the hotels was a nice surprise and if true is going to look stunning.
This will be the best theme park in Orlando. I can’t wait!
When volcano bay opened it was the best water park arguably in the world (still is). I bet this park will rival any other amusement park on Earth.

All this is happening at Universal while Disney is making a big deal just to re-theme Splash Mountain that will take a year to complete. Crazy stuff.
