Ive seen a few things about all the different sounds around the parks particularly in Toon Lagoon, which I think is fun and unique.
I always thought everyone was joking about that! I thought is was a Dora The explorer reference😂😂. Thank you for sharing this information. My family and I have been to universal more than 50 times and I didn't know half this stuff existed!

Ruby SAPs are named Ruby because of Rubius and when Jurassic World Velocicoaster first opened they had Blue SAPs named for Blue.

My favorite memory from going to universal when i was like 10 years old was watching the dinosaurs hatch and getting to name it. They even gave out a certificate with what you named it, It was amazing!

I didn’t know about the height certificate!
We have many Pygmy puffs 😄 actually one extra because we were buying it for a friend’s bday and taking a video of the naming and got one of the … less excited team members. So we went back later and got another with someone else! It really felt like an anomaly because so many of the wizarding world TMs are just amazing.
Haha we love the dedication!! I’d say it would probably be hard to do it with conviction the first few times or even if you were having a bad day. So glad you got a better one the second time though!!
We watched the video, this morning, I've just spent an hour exploring camp Jurassic, didn't know it was there👍. Also got a yellow single use express pass for the first time today 😊

So it’s usually going all year round, but the show itself changes seasonally. We haven’t heard anything about when it’s supposed to be back up and running yet!

First of all, I NEED Anna's shirt! Where did you get it?! Also, there's a drink at Magic Kingdom that some people compare to butter beer. It's at Gaston's Tavern. I personally have never tried it but people say it tastes like apple juice. I personally don't think anything can compare to butter beer though. 🤗

That team member is awesome who announced pet peeves’ name! We encountered her twice during our trip last week and she was such a pleasure both times!! Saw her in Madame Malkins and Borgin and Bourkes!
Also, my husband, dad and I received Rubeus passes on our last night in the park because there were technical difficulties. I hope my dad who lives in Florida goes back to the park to use them before they expire!
She was amazing!! We gave her a UO fist bump on twitter to show our appreciation. We hope your dad uses the Ruby’s too! Lol
I work at the park. Actually even if the pass does expire, you still get a certain grace period that you could use them. Hagrid’s will either directly replace the ruby pass or if it’s a bit longer than guest services will replace it. Can’t wait too long though, then it’s truly expired

One thing I do know that not everyone knows about is in City Walk, behind the Hard Rock Cafe is a piece of the Berlin Wall. It was really neat to see it given the historical aspect of it.i remember watching when they started tearing down the wall.
We thought about including that here, but tried to stick more to experiences instead of just objects. It’s so cool, though!!

We got the Sapphire pass (we thought it said Sapphire). We were waiting in line at Hagrid's and it delayed. We stayed on until they kicked us out and they gave us one. We came back later that day to ride it with the pass. It worked out so good because we were only there one day! Everyone in line were throwing daggers at us with their eyes, though. 😂

i got a ruby express for being stuck in the velocicoaster line during inclement weather at park close. it was kinda a good strategy, i was only in that line for like 20 mins and i used it on hagrid’s the next day
We were making Dole Whip at Scandinavian Shave Ice on Hawaii island -- anyone can get the machine from DOLE and make it -- BUT ONLY at Dole Pineapple Plantation on Oahu Island (where it was ORIGINALLY sold) and in Disney Parks could it be called "Dole Whip." We had to call it "Pineapple Soft Serve." Same exact thing though. Surprised Universal was able to harness the name as well and Disney didn't freak out.
It shocked us Disney let that happen, too! Lol someone said they’re about to start selling a version of it in the freezer section of grocery stores, too. We love it!!
My oldest got to name the hatchling raptor while we were there in March. She was so excited when they handed her the certificate.

Two things I wish I knew- my son got a Pygmy puff, but we had no idea about naming it! That is so cool.
And the height certificate!! my daughter, was about an inch shy of 48 inches and we had to do child swap for a few rides. Would have loved the certificate for the future. Great tips for next time ◡̈
We’ve heard they really only offer it if the kid is making a scene lol it makes sense to help smooth over the conversation, but I feel like they should offer them more frequently! They’re supposed to offer to do the naming ceremony when you check out, too!

My wife and I discovered Knockturn alley by complete accident. I wondered down the alley way because I was looking for a cool place to relax since we were there for a while. I ended up walking in and disappearing into the darkness. My wife couldn't find me. I ended up emerging from the shadows and telling her "YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!!!!!!"

I really Like Universal. Any ideas about what's going on in the Lost Continent ? Also do you ever visist Other parks outside of Florida ? We love Dollywood! We are headed there in about a month! Super excited for that trip!
Yeah. Dole whip. If you e ever been to the enchanted tiki room, they tell you all about Dole Whip and the Dole company in the preshow outside waiting in the garden area. Been that way at Disneyland forever. It’s pretty much an info-mercial for the Dole company, but they do talk about Hawaiian history a bit, so it’s interesting.

There is a highly specific area inside of JP Kid Zone -- me and a partner were inside of it for maybe 15 minutes, surrounded by kids who never found us. Shadows of groups of children were before our eyes, like we were in Platos Cave. Interesting to be somewhere in The Park, but to be hidden for so long.
I won't reveal the spot, but I will give the hint that we were inside of a structure.
JP Kid Zone is easily one of the best parts of the park as a whole, and one of the best themed areas in any park. I wish the entire park could be an experience like this.
As far as Dolewhip goes, its important IMO because it's probably one of the better frozen treat experiences a gluten/dairy free person can have.
That’s a great point about it being dairy free! We love camp Jurassic for the same reason, too. It’s like you’ve been transported somewhere different entirely!!
With the dole whip for years I thought cadburys drinking chocolate was called cupans drinking chocolate when I realised that it was the song cup hands here comes cadburys. Lol.
So with the certificate can you bring that back say next year or use as when you mind the child the other family members come off the ride and you now have express?
With the height certificate you bring it back once the child is tall enough for the attraction and they’ll let you use it then. That’s when you get to go through express is once the child can actually ride it
One of my 9 year olds wanted to do all of the roller coasters. Before Velocicoaster, I got them to Measure her and then double checked myself to be sure .... I would rather her be mad at me for not letting her ride than risk disaster. She was good by 1/4 of an inch. Too short for Hulk tho ... just gives her something to look forward to.

I was offered a ruby pass when i was in hagrid’s line and it closed for weather it slowly moved forward because at the front of the line there was an employee asking people if they want to stay and wait or leave and get a ruby pass.

We don't judge dog hair on people at all. We have a dog (and somehow 3 cats now). With 4 animals, it's almost not normal to NOT have pet hair on us. lol

You can’t actually buy the Ruby passes. We got them when we were the chosen family to open the park. Super cool someone sent you those. Not everyone can get them.
Oh yeah, we’re sorry if that wasn’t clear in the video! They usually hand them out to people who get stuck on rides for an extended period of time or if you’re in line for a ride like Hagrid’s when it goes down. That’s why they’re so rare!
The only time they let just adults ride the fleyers at camp Jurassic is when they had a special after hours event for the Jurassic world app and they let everyone ride them I was lucky enough to be invited to the event and rode it about 5 times 😂
You can also ride it at the Orlando informer meetups! That’s the only way we’ve ridden it!
Honestly didn't think the Hagrid express pass was unusual in 2 trips I got it 3 times. Yeah my luck was that bad, find dates I am going to a theme park and book around them. Best advice I give to friends and family.
We will put it this way, we have probably been to the parks and 150+ times since hagrids opened and we have never had them!
@@ThePughTwo we've been given an express pass for Hagrids, but it sadly wasn't the ruby! They gave out a bunch to people who were at the front of the que when Hagrids got weather delayed one day but it was basically on receipt paper, and it was only good for day of, if it came back up(which it did)
It basically had you go the same route as the disability pass, which makes me think that will eventually be the express route when it gets one,as usually the disability pass puts you into the express que.

Until recently, I did not know the radio on sneech beach made noise or you can hear people talking in the beached submarine.

I got the Ruby express pass when I visited in September 2021. Hagrid's broke down while I was riding for my first time. I then used the pass to ride again that afternoon, only for the ride to break down in the exact same spot lol. I received another pass, but wasn't able to use it because I had to go home. So I've only experienced Hagrid's twice, and both times I received a "rare" item lol
Oh no! They must’ve been having issues with it that day lol that’s usually how people end up getting Ruby’s. Crazy it happened twice in one day!
So wait does the ruby pass work for the whole party?? Or the other single express pass?
It’s just for one person! If you get stuck on a ride, etc. they’ll give one to each person!
I got 6 ruby passes once. We were 6 persons and when we arrived at the Park, there was a security barrier in our Park tickets and we had to wait around 30 minutes in the help line. The lady was super nice and gave us these passes for the troubles
My niece got her dinosaur certificate 10 years ago and brings it back each trip for the update.

Had a bad experience with another guest in the queue for Hagrids and ended up with 8 of those passes between 2 of us! Obviously used them all on Hagrids and Velocicoaster! Also at the time we used them there was no express lane open for Velocicoaster so that was pretty cool that they let us on.

Any tips on moving to Florida. My wife and I keep talking about moving. We love it there We are considering getting debt free then moving down and living a simple life and maybe working at the parks
We’d suggest researching what area you want to live in! That’ll make the housing hunt a lot easier bc Orlando is a big place! Lol also, save up more money thank you think you’ll need for moving. Lots of hidden expenses we didn’t think about beforehand like registering your cars and new insurance. FL car insurance is not cheap 😂
