  • Must watch video for future Indian F1 students and H1b hopefuls.
Just a brief video on what is happening exclusively to Indians planning to study or work in the US.
    Clarifications:
    1. Studying in the US is a worth while experience as far as education is concerned provided you pick top schools .
    2. The intent of this video is not to discourage students.
3.This video is to merely highlight the reality what follows should Indians harbor thoughts of immigrating via these avenues of F1 and h1b to US.
    4. Family based immigration is the best route for Indians. If they have parents or siblings abroad.
5.Eb5 investment is the next best route for Indians.
    5. I have nothing to gain or lose from this video as far as Green Cards are concerned. I already have a path to the US via family based Sponsorship.

Dont step out of Canada without getting Passport. Unless you can travel regularly i.e. work in US and stay in Canada. So that you can qualify for citizenship.
Now if you are jobless and dying out in Canada and desperate that is different question.
Frankly speaking there are many many who are now working for US companies out of Canada. Thanks to COVID remote working is almost a norm with most in the tech sector. I personally know two people out of Vancouver and Calgary who moved from Bay area who moved with Bay area salary to Canada. In CAD terms I talking about upwards of 200k.

Hmm... h1b life is not good that is a given, especially for Indians.
However, you should keep an open mind, and try Australia. That nation, has a population of only 28 million and the landmass is as big as America. That to me seems like America 2.0 waiting to happen. I would highly recommend Australia for Indians.
      1. The weather is sunny like most of India
      2. Huge land, there is much land to be conquered and settled in.
Personally, I am not a fan of Canada, sure it is close to the US ;however, weather is cold and miserable.

But if America is not a viable option, I really want them to look into Australia.
Even I applied for a PR to Australia, despite the fact that I could get a GC in USA thru my relatives. The PR will come in 1 years time for Indians who have work experience abroad as well as in IT sector. Good luck.

Good video. I came back to India last year by choice, after spending 9 years in US. (2 years of Master's and 7 year of work). I was so happy when I landed here to be able to live close to my parents and be part of their life.
However, after spending 18 months here I am on route of Canadian PR. It's a long route purely due to pandemic.
When I landed in India, I never thought I would even think about this move. I thought of 20 to 25L per of pay, right now I am getting close to 45L but really depressed here. I had a weird optimism even though I landed without a job in India. But after staying here for 18 months, life seems so negative.
Also, I would say Australia/Canada don't have much good universities and very limited jobs. Many new graduates who have no relevant experience end of working on odd jobs. If you have studied in US with few years of experience, then bingo as Canadian market would be hot for you.

    • @neoblackcyptron
      @neoblackcyptron  3 года назад

I agree with the negativity part in India. I noticed that too. Especially the way the pandemic was handled, it was clear we are 3rd class citizens with access to inferior vaccines(covushield) and treated like garbage(not enough of even those inferior vaccines). It’s good you got the chance to move out to Canada. Good luck 👍🏻. Hopefully Canada turns out to be something more permanent for you. I’m happy to know US experience is recognized in the Canada and Australia. I too have filed papers to Australia. I had to forgo Canada because IELTS is a stumbling block. They seem to purposely not give enough points even though my English is pretty good. You know the usual Indian mentality of pulling people down. It took some time for me but yes India can be nasty. I had a great time with my parents. They got their green cards last year so with them no longer in India. There is very little incentive for me to stay here. Family was the only thing that was of value for me in India. To be honest with the current political setup and how the country is heading. It’s like the titanic. In a way it’ll be better for future Indian students to go directly to Australia or Canada to start their lives. US is only for those Indian students who already have green card sponsorship via family or a venue independent of that useless employer based green card route. They sure are taking young Indian talent for a ride the US employers by lauding it over the Indian kids with that green card sponsorship.

    • @RohanKumar-bq2ri

@@neoblackcyptron Yep Whitchurch, completely agree. If your parents are in US, it makes much sense for you to move as India has nothing to offer maybe except delicious food (which I like but not a dealbreaker I guess). By the way, I dont have Canadian thing yet. Just profile in express entry and waiting for Ontario tech draws. Also interviewing for a company in Canada, hopefully it goes through as they are ready to sponsor me work permit.
Family is the only reason for which people come to India, and who continue to stay here is due to family. My reason was same, I never went to US with intention to settle and probably thats why coming back to India was easy for me. Many of my friends and colleagues were amazed at my decision.
But yes, India has been a shocker to me. I am stuck in a tier-2 city in india since i came due to pandemic. Most of my friends don't understand my situation as they have never been outside India and they feel whole world is like India. So sometimes i feel lonely, I am 31 and my age for marriage is going away. The only good thing I feel is currently living with parents and can do things for them. But this society and system is toxic. I am working in one of top companies of India, my peers have advance degree fro IIT/IISc but still work culture is toxic and ruthless.
As long as I can get out of India, I don't think my decision to come back was wrong. Otherwise I would have spent my life repenting I never tried for India. But now if I leave, I wont have that regret as I moved back and it did not work out.
Btw, regarding that IELTS thing. Even I gave IELTS 4 times, they messed my listening in 1st attempt (7.5/9) but rest 3 they gave me 6.5 in Writing. There is a way to dispute or recheck the marks, as speaking and writing is subjective. In my 4th attempt, I had R, L, S, W as 8.5, 8.5, 8, 6.5. I applied for re-check for W section, paid 10,000 INR and within 1 week it increased to 7 in writing and my 10,000 INR were returned (it's returned when your re-check is successful).
The only reason I mentioned Canada is since you can come to US on TN-1 visa or even H-1B till you get sibiling based PR from brother's side. Australia might be bit far off I guess

@@RohanKumar-bq2ri apply for Australia also. You’re score can be used for both. I attempted IELTS second time got 9 for reading, 8.5 for listening, 7 for speaking and 7.5 for writing. That was good to apply for Aussie immigration. You can try the PTE test as they give a lot of marks compared to IELTS something which you can try for Aussie immigration. The paperwork is a bit more for Aussie immigration, I did it via a consulatant. I’m expecting an invite in 11 months time. In the meantime I’ve decided to do another masters in AI and robotics since by the time in finish it my green card would have come via family sponsorship as well as my PR from Australia.
Speaking of 31 years, in think you are still at a good time to get hitched. So get married now. It’s not too late for you.
Lol I’m 35 so just think where I stand. That being said money has been a great leveler as far a marriage is concerned in India. Since I have quite a bit of money, I can still get girls 8 years younger than me In India. Indian is a very social material loving society just like America.
But that gamble is not for everyone. (Personally Indian girls don’t have good physique so I am not too bothered about them) Good luck find someone and take her with you to Canada. I highly recommend you also attempt PTE get the Aussie immigration thing done. Two countries are better than just one. Wishing you the best.
Bottom line strike out in multiple directions. Distribute your efforts in multiple areas. You’ll be surprised you’ll have many options to pick and choose from.

Yes by first step, it means his I-140 probably has been approved. Now he has to wait it out for the next 10-15 years (without losing his job) before he gets his Green Card. Unless it is going to take a lifetime, as laid out in the CATO articles online.
Studying in the US is a good experience, you'll be covered for 3 years after graduation, with the OPT, just make sure, you get some Aussie or Canada, immigrant applications filed, while you work on your OPT/H1B, in the beginning of your career after getting your US degree.
With those 2 options you can choose whether to continue in the US or move to Aussie or Canada. Age gives a lot more points, for Aussie and Canada immigration, so if you do apply for it, in your 20's you'll have an edge.
Ideally, after you graduate with your MS degree into your new job in the US, on OPT (3 year OPT). You might probably be like 23-24 ish. While starting your new job in the US. Write the IELTS, and apply for Canada and Australia. You should probably selected to their Permanent Resident programs and get their country Green card. (equivalents) in 1.5 years time.

Yes that is true. Indian hypocrisy is a strange thing. Being in a position of responsibility as influencers, they should be more cognizant of what they send out.
The problem with youtube and viral videos is, the creators get hooked to this drug called fame/attention, and would do anything to stay current get views, even if it involves spreading lies, misguiding people less fortunate than them with minimizing the risks of pursuing the American dream while only magnifying the good things.
I believe that chap called Yudi already has an American wife, has made a successful business out of consulting for US immigrant stuff. I wonder what he can consult for. A non-resident alien in America has 0 rights to prolong their stay without. a visa or a GC application pending with USCIS.
When I joked to Yudi he has nothing to worry about since he will get a GC thru his wife. The guy dodged the question and slithered away like a snake.

I did get some offers to work in India after my return to India, but after the US H1B experience, I realized the importance of time. At the same time a building project (now called falcon heights in Chennai) was under development in which I got a stake, so that was good news.
So I decided to get into ML/AI as a hobby spent 1.5 years hitting the gym and unwinding before my next steps.
Common constraints some people have is to immediately get back to work. I did not have that limitation. I choose to try different things and remain jobless for sometime.
One thing I’ll tell you is this, people in India will blame you and try to say you must have done something to not be good enough to stay in America instead of questioning what happens in that country where they treat h1bs as slaves.
Case in point 2023 layoffs look at all the h1bs who spent 15 years being sent back with just 60 days to uproot from America. That’s America got you, the real America.
Yes as for my GC, I found a smarter way with 99% chance to get GC, family sponsored GC with US citizen sibling. So I don’t need to slave away at America for that GC.
Finally if I did not have a US citizen sibling, I would have forgotten America and stayed in India living off my rental income. That’s a good life even now whether American GC is there or not.

You’ll end up like all the Indians laid off in 2023 after having spend 15-16 years in the US with 60 days to deport and no green card. While people even from hostile counties like Iran get green card in under 1.5 years.

I did start some specialization in ML/AI certs during those 3 years. I was traveling on/off to the US on tourist visa. I finally decided to return to the US to do another MS in AI/ML at ASU since that was of interest to me. Also I was able to find a way to get GC within 5 years via family sponsorship (it is a niche category called f2b). So the plan now is to just finish my studies while waiting out those 5 years before getting the GC. Education will be paid by rental income from India so no stress. I need to write a book about my adventure, a lot of good luck/ God's grace in my adventure. I had to be thrown into the wild/random events before getting my reward. Spent 3 years trying many things before finally finding my foothold again. It would have been super easy just to start working in India, but that would have been an unproductive move for my life trajectory.
The only reason I decided to get back to school was because, I would still get my GC, in the next 3 years. So it was worth it. If I was a new student with no GC sponsorship and having to rely on a company to do the same. I would not have returned to the US for another degree.

I have a question which might hatters get kindly put it in a video. Are you making videos just because you dont indians to come usa so that you get GC. Why you are concerned about indians.
From day one i blocked this paerth and sigh in usa videos as they get paid to make videos during their masters but not helpful for students.
I am making documents with kumar exclusive regarding study in india and how students live in usa.

I decided not to make videos just for the sake of making videos. I could easily have done what some other fellows are doing at the moment, with their clickbait titles, on H1-b, OPT, CPT, GC, USC immigration topics. However, I have a conscience and responsibility for what I put out. If I wanted to make regular videos I can work on other casual topics. But not something as sacred and important that needs to be handled with care like stuff related to Indian US immigration/dreams.
