First Open AI Sora Prompt by Whitchurch Muthumani
I got access to OpenAI's Sora today finally. It is interesting to play with for sure. I prompted for a giant Manta Ray to fly over the ocean with ships in the ocean. Was expecting a Cosmic Horror setup reminiscent of LoveCraftian giant monsters.
I am impressed with Sora, has great potential once I learn to write exact prompts or add greater context via sample images to set the setting for the generation to build the video out of.

AI Developer's Prophecy on Artificial Intelligence - Whitchurch Muthumani

I made a video on an autonomous car delivering food to me. I prophesied it will take over the gig worker economy first. Then work done by AI developers such as myself will be replaced. Phd researchers and their work will become obsolete once the AI learns reasoning skills, and begins to publish its own papers and implement them. The final group to fall would be landlords as AI would need space ...

since my reply comments aren't posting: @neoblackcyptron it's also very easy to distinguish FOB vs indian-american simply by body fat percentage, lack of deodorant, and obviously english proficiency/accent. you guys very little muscle due to your carb overloaded vegetarian diet so your faces look different (though your prof picture makes it seem like you used to lift weights at least). i get that teasing me "you'll never be american" is mostly projection from your immigrant experience, but try to imagine actually having childhood friendships, relationships, and a deep rooted sense of community here. Realize that its your lack of perspective that leads you to think that your experience as an immigrant is universal for everyone who looks like you. I know your experience from my grandparents, but you don't know mine.
@@SneedEmFeedEm292 I’ll have to disagree on the body fat part. Met a gujju abcd from queens NewYork, he was totally unhealthy dressed poorly. You know wearing a long sleeved shirt and a sweater on top like Andy Williams from 1960s. You’ll be surprised fobs dress much better these days for real. But it seems like you might be encountering substandard fobs who came via IT companies directly from India. Those fobs are ass kissing highly clannish people who don’t take baths and hang around the pool jumping in with all clothes on. Yes I know that kind. Oh don’t forget those rubber flip flops and crumpled shorts they wear showing their skinny ass legs and bellies. Unwashed round next Tshirt and all. I can see what might be referring to. I’ve seen many like this in small town Arkansas, most work on some IT projects for Walmart way out in the boonies. Btw have you ever moved with Fobs who did an MS in the US. They are a separate better breed, Bengali girls from India who Come for MS, or any of the others are good. City born fobs are more savvy that an abcd from small town Ohio. It’s a mix but yes the kind you see are straight from India without MS degrees and most likely from rural parts of India. America let in too many inferior products from India. Hence this backlog and all.(Y2K was the worst any dumbass who took a 2 week certification was let into US, that was the time many inferior ones entered 🇺🇸 + the IT coolies from Infosys, tcs, CTs etc) The best way to solve it is for Stephen Miller to put a blanket ban and cease all immigration. End it. Yes I used to lift got back to heavy weights, had to take a break for 2 weeks due to the flu. You’ll be surprised Indian genes are good especially for Indian meat eaters.
@@neoblackcyptron im in a masters program now and was dismayed to find that 95% of my class was international, with 80% indian. it's a mixed bag. some of them are alright and seem to speak decent english like you. the rest are slobs and cheat. agree, stephen miller needs to end it. it's too much all at once. I wish the best for india obviously. I think it will actually help once you guys actually aren't allowed to emigrate out en masse. build your businesses there like you're planning. it's the best case scenario for everyone. good luck
CITIZENSHIP IS MORE THAN A PIECE OF PAPER. MY COUNTRY IS NOT AN ECONOMIC ZONE FOR THE 3RD WORLD TO EXPLOIT. im a 3rd generation American of indian descent. my grandparents came here in 1965 after the passing of the Hart-Cellar act. the first wave of indian immigrants was very small, had no established communities to immigrate to, and were largely only highly skilled doctors serving rural communities (my family is in ohio). The result was a completely assimilated 2nd (my father) and 3rd (me) generation - I am culturally american and my loyalty is only to america. the subsequent waves of indian immigrants (gas station owners in the 90s, now H1bs like you) are completely different. entire neighborhoods around me have turned into ethnic enclaves resembling a "Little India". very loud, messy, lower hygiene, kids playing cricket on baseball fields. In other words, there isn't even an attempt at assimilation. Furthermore, it's extremely obvious that "getting your passport" is just a piece of paper to you guys. It's a game. like you said in a comment below, "I will do whatever suits me best", and later india. You have no intention of putting America first, which used to be part of the ethos of immigration to America. I don't want my country to look like India. I went once as a kid. not good. The rest of America feels the same. The h1b and other visa systems catering to "skilled" indian labor is anything but America First. This is why Trump is back in office. Hopefully, with Stephen Miller's help, we can end the h1b system and finally start prioritizing American tech talent and American workers. this has gone too far.
@@SneedEmFeedEm292 you are not American 🇺🇸 you’ll never be. You are a brown Indian, always will be. That will never ever change. 😉 (Sarcasm) A white American 🇺🇸 will be curious to learn about Europe from an FOB European immigrant. But the Indian Americans growing up 2nd class in America take out their frustrations on FOB Indians. (Bigger reflection on abcds psychological traumas) Fyi my grandfather was in the US in the 1940s, but we had bigger responsibilities $$$ in India to manage. I would say the 90s were not good for immigrants. Too many inferior products sneaked into America from India 🇮🇳 . On that I agree with you. As for assimilation, that’s an individual choice. Even Italians and Irish lived in their own ghettos in the past. It’ll take time for Indians to assimilate into America. We are at the ghetto stage at the moment. You must realize proximity to whiteness matters. Indians are not close to whiteness so, separate but equal is the most stable state for Indian Americans to thrive in. I envision my place in America 🇺🇸; as separate but equal; friendship and business deals with my other race American peers. Relationships and family with Indian or at most Chinese women.(makes for a stable household, Nordic races are tough , not too expressive a result of growing up in cold environments)
@@neoblackcyptron it's actually much easier to spot FOB indians since they are fatter (carb overloading) and have less muscle, their faces look different. couple that with the accent and the smell, it's pretty obvious. theres a grain of truth to what you say in terms of "proximity to whiteness" in terms of skin tone and cultural distance. the former can't be overcome, but the latter can. The first thing you internalize when you meet someone is their appearance/skin tone. the next thing is their voice. But you're mostly projecting (coping) your experience as a FOB on to me because we have a common country of origin. however, youll never know my experience as someone who grew up 3rd generation with childhood friendships, relationships, experiences and being actually connected and deeply rooted here. FOBs only sense of community comes from other indians in the ethnic enclaves they build. sure, im not gonna be able to into rural alabama and pretend like im one of them, but it's a hell of a lot different than being a FOB. the mannerisms and lack of assimilation is quite striking and annoying. luckily this will not be a problem with the next administration. we're going to end h1b scam

@@neoblackcyptron is living in usa worth it? while comparing standard of living etc?
@@ShubhankarDev-q5g It is worth it only: 1) If you have a path to Permanent Residency. If not suddenly if you get fired (like what happened in 2022, many people who lived for 15 years had to return back to India) . It is not worth it. 1.a) 100K USD is appox 80 laks in INR, is not such a big salary in USA (it is upper middle class). You spend in dollars. 80laksh which I make as rental income is much more valuable in India.(real data). It is top of upper-middle class, bottom of rich in India 2) It can be said (for now) standard of living is okay (however, medical access is expensive, they have bad insurance and a broken system for healthcare). Lots of homeless people in the streets, drugs too. If you lose a job it is very easy to end up on the streets in USA. 3) No support system, everyone is insular. In India you have community support you won't find much here. White Nordic cultures are usually not very open. 4) Kids Indian ; non-white kids born here might feel out of place, as second class citizens for now. You won't feel like the owner of the land since you are non-white. But in India you automatically feel entitled to the land as the majority race. In USA Indians are a minority. (albeit a rich successful one) On the whole I think India has lots of good points if you are (rich). America also has good points (if you are rich). Personally, I am ready to give up USA, if it comes to that or if it interferes with my long term goals with regards to life. At this point I am a spent force, I am not overtly attached to USA or India. With money I can build a lifestyle to my satisfaction in either place. India; I ca build a big bungalow, with outhouse for watchman, swimming pool, marble floors and pillars. Live off rental money. So yes with money you can live an interesting life, the place won't matter.
how did you make so much out of rental money?@@neoblackcyptron
Wow. I never knew you could build one, let alone have a personal private A.I. Sir, my question is, can i build or program an A.I/ bot that will help me with stock trading by predicting the market

Hi, i love your video. Can you share your complete code? Thanks!
You're 100% right. I've seen your other 2 videos on the H1B saga as well. This could be a potential way out for people who have already come to the US and are pursuing their Masters: Finish your masters and use your OPT and STEM extension to gain 3 years of experience. A US masters degree coupled with 3 years of valuable experience in the US is respected all over the world. Canada has introduced new pathways that is trying to take advantage of the H1B situation faced by millions of Indians. You probably wont earn as much in canada compared to the US but your mind would still be at peace as obtaining the canadian PR is possible within a year. I have friends who have gone to canada after working in the US for few years and they got their PR in a year or so. Canada offers a much more stable immigration life.
Thank you. I’m happy you took the time to see all my videos on this topic. Its a saga. I’m documenting all the milestones in this journey to leave behind a genuine account for others to learn from. Unfortunately, as you and I both know Indians are desperate af for the American dream. Although it’s going to be denied for most of them 99%. Save for the few with family based sponsorship. The rest are doomed.
@@neoblackcyptron thank you too for opening the eyes of Indians. I greatly appreciate your videos and honesty. You're probably one of the few youtubers who speak honestly about the US's immigration policies. Most youtubers highlight the shiny stuff about the US. I don't know what they get out of fooling their own people. Some of my Indian friends may realise this, but I guess many won't. They'll continue making the same mistake by trying to get the GC via employment, which is sadly futile.
needed that for my exam tomorrow thanks

I believe this graduate class. Tell me from your previous Masters to this Masters, over a decade gap, percentage of international students are still the same? Are they still clueless about US immigration, H1b and GC backlogs or they feel US is a chance worth taking.
The percentage is higher. More students especially from Andhra Pradesh. And sadly they are all Clueless about what is in store for them. It’s a chance not worth taking, but for education it’s good. 2023 the market is really bad. I’m flying back to India end of June. These Indian kids will struggle with opt, constant rejects and might end up in some job. Ignorance brought them here, you can see they are the next batch who are ready to be used and thrown out by the US.
Family based green card sponsorship is the only advantage I have. These kids will face long wait times across 30 years to 100 years to get a green card. My plan is to work for a startup in robotics and Al, drone, agricultural robotics etc in India, and if smarter start my own company with my building rent. By then my GC via family will be there. These kids Indians have no hope unless the US immigration policies change. I foresee any of these kids moving out to Australia or Canada in the not to distant future.
GOD BLESS ! CONGRATULATIONS OUR DEAR SON
could you please share the slides too?
Demonstrations like this make me think that we are not too far away from a time when this is an elementary science class project. Such an exciting age to be living through :)
Yes I agree. Knowledge is exploding... it might not be too far off when just like programming is taught in schools, ML AI will become part of high school syllabus.
Cool demonstration! What are the factors the network / machine evaluates if a object is recyclable or not? I would've presumed that the robot would be fooled by color but this seems this does not affect it that much. (Btw, RUclips recommendations are going wild hahah)
In my case the secret is to feed in lots more training data of different objects, classiying them as recyclable vs non-recyclable, the insides of the Neural Networks seem, hungry enough and have enough neurons to be able to learn the concepts and fit the N-dimensional curve to handle this task well, more training data should yield a robust solution. Yes, I was happy to see the Model has learnt to work with shapes as well as colors. It will be interesting to see how it handles serious datasets like tacos datasets when training the model with that.
can you provide us with the code please? It would be very useful for a class project

1:42 detecting single object

The USCIS isn't mandated to cater for the needs of ONE country. Create jobs @ home The Eagle Act, which was proposed by the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), was overwhelmingly rejected due to its lack of equity. Furthermore, many argued that instead of providing green cards for foreigners, the government should focus on creating jobs domestically so more people can benefit from economic opportunities at home.
thanks for sharing

Why didn't you ever take a Crack at the Indian job market though? And now do you have a way back to GC?
I did get some offers to work in India after my return to India, but after the US H1B experience, I realized the importance of time. At the same time a building project (now called falcon heights in Chennai) was under development in which I got a stake, so that was good news. So I decided to get into ML/AI as a hobby spent 1.5 years hitting the gym and unwinding before my next steps. Common constraints some people have is to immediately get back to work. I did not have that limitation. I choose to try different things and remain jobless for sometime. One thing I’ll tell you is this, people in India will blame you and try to say you must have done something to not be good enough to stay in America instead of questioning what happens in that country where they treat h1bs as slaves. Case in point 2023 layoffs look at all the h1bs who spent 15 years being sent back with just 60 days to uproot from America. That’s America got you, the real America. Yes as for my GC, I found a smarter way with 99% chance to get GC, family sponsored GC with US citizen sibling. So I don’t need to slave away at America for that GC. Finally if I did not have a US citizen sibling, I would have forgotten America and stayed in India living off my rental income. That’s a good life even now whether American GC is there or not.
My advice to you if you plan to go abroad go to Australia or Canada, get citizenship there and then go to work in US. Don’t go straight to America, end up on h1b and stay waiting for the green card which will never come in this lifetime for an Indian born person. You’ll end up like all the Indians laid off in 2023 after having spend 15-16 years in the US with 60 days to deport and no green card. While people even from hostile counties like Iran get green card in under 1.5 years.
@@neoblackcyptron I guess at that point one needs to think about their priorities, from what I've heard from people in Canada/Australia is there are 10x opportunities in the States, with much higher pay and lesser living expenses too. Canada especially has crazy prices in the better cities (Vancouver, Toronto, Quebec) and you will never be able to buy a home if half of your paycheck goes into rent. You will have to move into a smaller town with lesser job opportunities. So now I'm contemplating between German PR vs working in the US for 5-6 years and coming back to Mumbai
@@neoblackcyptron But US/European Work Culture >>> Indian Work culture any day. Here people will work themselves to the bone sacrificing their personal lives and for what?
@@HarshvardhanKanthode then you can go to Canada or AUS get citizenship and come to US to work. Worst case even if you get let go you can go back to Canada or Australia. So your life will be more calmer. If you really want to do US h1b route directly Atleast you know what to expect, hopefully after seeing my video. 😊
