They have lots of spikes. Look up pedaling innovations catalyst pedals. Better for your feet. I had the clip pedals before and actually came unclipped a few times. Not once have my feet slipped off these pedals. I have used them for 1200 miles so far

@@kennycatbox5559 it puts the pressure spread out all over your foot instead of putting the pressure on a small area like the clip pedals do.
