Could you please post some clips of your matches ?? I mean, your training sessions are literally the best and entertaining to watch here on YT. Have been learning so many things from you. Thank you for all the effort you're making. You're the best 💯
Every touch is perfect, as usually! Really top level, maan! Thank you for your job! You feel like a fish in water in any boots, even after putting them on for the first time, cool. As a rule, it takes 3-4 training sessions for me to get used to and adjust to a new pair. Is there a model on the market that would be your all-weather favorite?
Thank you my man! Right now I’m really enjoying the Mizuno Alpha MIJ, but the FG stud pattern is a little too aggressive for AG for me. Will be trying out the AG soleplate soon though. These Puma MG’s are a great option on turf though 👌
Mike thanks Bro I've seen your videos since ever growing indeed. It will be very interesting to see a video at your current age and how and what's the difference un your performing, take care Man 👍🏻
Hi, your videos are top notch as always. I left football for about 3months due to a back injury and loss of interest for the sport. I was wondering if you’d be down to offer me some advice?, thank you.
Mike, it's been already a whole year since I've started taking 1v1s seriously, and i can't even tell how much I've improved just by learning from you. I was practicing almost every single day, and losing the ball every single day😂 But now I'm one of the most technical players compared to my friends. But now the big problem is my creativity, or i would say my lack of creativity. Step overs, body feints/movements, acceleration, those are one of the most basics that are working almost every single time, I'm not planning it ahead, just going through my intincs, but i don't why, i want to try something new. I just thought that i would become really predictable just by doing the same movements over and over and over again. Maybe I'm just overcomplicating it, but I'm losing the ball because of this. Would you recommend to not change anything, or to work on my creativity, and lastly i wanna share one of my all time favourite Bruce Lee's quotes. " I don't fear the man who's practicing 10.000 kicks, but i do fear the man who's practicing 1 kick 10.000 times". ♥️
You answered your own question mate, don’t over complicate it 👍 You can either be good at a bunch of moves, or a master of a few. Much better to be a master 🤝
I trained this week-end about my curve shots and passes ( now we are actually Monday two days after I trained ) and when I seen theses curves shots at the end it made me want to train more and more and touch a ball 😅
Hey michael, I've been watching your videos for a long time and I would like to know how you come up with your drills and how you progress them through progressive overload? (Thanks in advance)
I come up with them based on actions or scenarios in a match which I’ve identified to need fine tuning for many players. As you can see, many of my drills are set up in areas of the pitch where those specific actions are valuable, so as to not only get technical reps, but start to trigger thought patterns that are then activated in a match. Progressive overload could include trying to perform the actions quicker, crisper and with less mistakes. Intensity is always a factor you can increase too, as long as you’re not substituting quality for it.
Hey! I'm a complete beginner at football and would like to be a good player (I don't want to go pro though. I love the sport and I just want to be good at it and enjoy it when playing with others worldwide). I have saved your videos to train, but I don't know where to start in training (ball control/mastery, shooting, passing, etc?) and how many fundamental skills (and which I should start with) I should include in training sessions to be an all-around football player? Thanks for the video btw!! :)
Hi, cool video. I've noticed that in many videos you advise working on one or two skills at most. and the question is: if I master these skills to automatism without thinking and want to start working on new skills, will my previous skills be able to remain in my muscle memory or will I not forget about them?
Which skills are you looking to master mate? When you think about any skill, no matter the “complexity” of it, it’s usually a combination of a body feint and perhaps a stepover. Master the fundamental components of these moves will allow you to perform any combination of them 🤝
How are you finding the boots? I felt they were great when its dry, probably the most comfortable pair I've tried, but when it was only slightly wet i found myself slipping, had to change boots. You should do boot reviews by the way, you seem like a boot nerd and your opinion would be valuable.
Bro some of these pitches are so nice man, down here in London just not the same, literally you can smell weed from inside the pitches people smoke on the outside it’s just not the environment honestly.
I hear you mate, I’ve always struggled to find a consistent full size pitch to train on in the UK. Unfortunately they lock most of them from fear of being vandalised. Seems like the majority of the rest of Europe have a lot more options.
I used to train solo at home, then i decided to visit ground nearby to see if i can train but i couldnt, and i'm too shy to ask someone to take me, so back to solo home training!!
@@7mlc actually, there wasnt space for me to train, there were few matches going on, and i cant even tell them to take me, so i'll just stick to solo training and try my best to improve, then hopefully one day i'll get to play and i'll be ready for it!!
Hi I saw that you have paid courses, I wanted to know that I am a left winger / quarterback, if the training is different from your videos, for example there are videos for crosses, filter passes, dribbling, etc...? Hello, how are you, my brother? I am an Arab young man, 18 years old. I love football, but I am not good at it due to not making the right decision quickly and not controlling the ball under pressure. Can you give me advice to solve the matter? Thank you.
Spend more time with the ball my friend. Kicking the ball against a wall and learning how the ball reacts off your foot will help you understand first touch. Once you’ve mastered the skills alone, it’s then important to put yourself in as many match situations as possible (5 a side, 11 a side etc) so that you can develop the ability to control the ball under pressure 🤝
Already made videos with them mate. I’m not a big fan of them to be honest. Upper is just a bit too grippy and makes the ball feel stuck under my feet.
