That’s what I might do when I upgrade to a 55 gallon. I have a red line of cherry shrimps going but making my own line of rillis sounds awesome!

Pretty cool how these random morphs pop up! I bought a bunch of wild neos, maybe about 60 for £5. Over time I noticed all sorts of different colour babies popping up in the tank and some rilis. When I broke down the tank I managed to save about 5 dark blue/black shrimp, so I've been trying to build a colony from them. I think I have about 20-30 now 💙

all the rili colour shrimps are really fascinating. everytime i see em in fish shop, i always question how the heck they have coloured head and tail but transparent mid section. also i find it very interesting that all this colour morph also can happened in wild, but of course the bright colour one are mostly undesirable trait as they can attract potential predator

Yeah, it's interesting for sure, and I'm still figuring it out as I go. Gonna make blue and red ones one way or another, 😆

Very Exciting!!! I just got my first batch of babies popping up! Have you ever used Microbelift Special Blend? it seems to have my bacteria in check! I got some Thera-P coming from them too! I still use seachem stability every once in a while, have the whole glasgarten line. bugbites, hikari, and xtreme I'd be interested in trying your food soon! I just have so much going on right now lol! I had some blue dreams from swimingcreatures with some petco red neos.. the reds were pretty decent grade! I have some babies looking red, orange, had some wild looking ones, and some blues. Hoping for the blue red rilis too but any rili would be nice! I can definitely see the cross breeding playing part in your tank! Have a lot of wilds going on, but you remove those, and keep going and get to where you want! What form of social media do you use? Is there any way to contact you and shoot the shit about shrimp sometimes? Enjoy learning from you my man! You and Mark's shrimp tanks, have to be my favorite for advice.

I dont put anything in my tanks besides safe and every once in a while, fenbendazole, and of course food lol.

@@MarkShellyAquatics Right on! do you use fenbendazole as a preventative? and what's that actually target? I notice you have some bladder snails, so I assume its safe for snails too?
EDIT: watching your video on the stuff now, lol :D
Oh okay, I actually have some in my cart if that's what no-planaria is!

@nycutie525 no, but you would most likely get red and orange rili.
