Glad your video just randomly popped up in my feed today. I was looking at the exact same setup. I have an 8.5 in currently with a Sylvan Arms folder on a SB3 brace. I can get it in my bag,but I want it a tad bit smaller. I was also considering the PDW route this time just because.
I wish I woulda went with a sb3 brace on this one.. my sylvan arms adapter won’t work on this since the brace is to wide. I wish I went with a 8.5 also… this brace does look cool though.
Watch out for that brace. I had the Maxim version & the castle nut would come loose every 150ish or so rounds. Unfortunately, with this design, theres no way to stake the castle nut.
Depends what you wanna use it for folding seem Better for a bag, but if you get a stock for a short barrel you are gonna have to get a tax stamp for it depending upon n your state if you can even have an SBR.
@@Mr_P_Rockzz you dont need a tax stamp because you still can have a folding stock with a pistol brace.Looking at your video and seeing the PDW not small enough to fit in a bag im going with the folding stock. But the PDW looks way cooler.

@@Mr_P_Rockzz Why 556? The 300BLK was developed to be used in ultra short barrels, the 556 not so much, that tiny bullet loses too much velocity in a short barrel to have much terminal ballistics left. And if you think a 300BLK is loud out of a short barrel wait until you shoot that 7" 556 😀.
