The fact that the Civic outdone the Accord in looks is crazy! No lie, I see a lot of middle-aged and senior citizens driving this generation, Accord. Honda needs some young and fresh designers. If I were a car designer, I would work for Hyundai and Kia. They seem to be having more fun designing their cars and not afraid to push the envelope.
Yo great video! It's good to see them side by side. I don't know what the hell Honda was thinking about when they dropped the 23. The only thing they dropped was the ball 😂
@@fred_b_360 does that 1 second in less 0-60 from the 2.0T matter that much vs getting an extra 200 miles of gas from the hybrid? ask yourself if that second is worth 200 miles of range. The hybrid 2023 gets about 600 miles for a full tank that's about 200 more than the regular. You ask me i'll take the extra 200 miles anyday. I test drove it and it's buttery smooth and quiet inside I have to say.
I don't love the exterior of the 11th generation by any measure but I probably would have eventually bought one, if they not dropped the 2.0T engine option. But 204hp ain't going to cut it for me. I'm keeping my '21 Accord Touring 2.0T for a while. I love my 10th gen with the 2.0T!
It may not be the ugliest...i still remember the '98 accords, and you know what , that 98 Accord was soo bad that it made the 2004 Accord seem good in comparison...LOL...the 94 Accord was LEGEND and the 2018 Accord is the return to that form...at least for me!

I have a Gray 2018 Touring. I never all the chrome on the sides or the big chrome brow, like an old Chevrolet. I don't mind the taillights that everybody seems to hate. I think the G10 Accord was overstyled, but the G11 is just as much understyled. I don't mind the front so much, but with the G11 rear changes to a sleeker look and all LED I think it had the potential to really stand out, but it doesn't. Your G10 Sport came with less chrome than the Touring.
I saw one for the first time at the mall, and it was underwhelming. It just looked plain, and frankly smaller than the Gen 10, although they're both similarly sized. Maybe this one will grow on me. Only time will tell.
It looks like an older Nissan Maxima. Just too UGLY for the now era. I own a 9th gen EXL and my wife has the 10th gen TOURING, we'll skip over this when I need to trade or sell away my 9th gen. Honda must have given up in the design department.
I agree with you man. It's not aggressive like the 10th Gen Accord👌💯

This shit terrible. 10th Gen was amazing. They should've just redesigned the rear end on the 10th
Man.. i would really consider buying this if it has 2.0T .. now it looks bland same as the motor😫
Thanks for speaking the truth. It looks so boring. What were they thinking? 🤦♂️

I appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching!
@jdm_wolfpack_official no problem bro.
honda really fucked up the design.. who did they hire ? they got rid of coupes and now making accords into granny wagons.. ruining their image
😫
100% Facts 💯💯💯
They hired senior citizens
And it’s still ugly to me 😂😂😂 bro I was in tears at that part
Smh. Man Im trying to be as unbias as possible 😭
@@fred_b_360 it’s hard 🤣🤣🤣
I appreciate how he said it isn’t ugly ugly it’s just a more mature look
Thank u! Awful from jump!
I think it looks ok, what pisses me off is the took away the 2.0T what the hell Honda.
My main complaint with the looks is the front end and lack of hard body lines, and of course the 2.0T. To me it’s just way too safe.
@@fred_b_360 It makes me appreciate my 2.0T Touring even more.

I have no doubt that the hybrid system is effective. Just not for my needs.

Losing the 2.0 was a 100% deal breaker…
Agreed
Honda blew it with that 11th gen. Getting rid of that 2.0T was a HUGE DEATH!! Plus looks like an old BUICK car for senior citizens!
I wish that Acura had something that I could desire...Honda has forced me out the crew!
It looks good in certain colors(very few)but that red they did all the promoting in looks atrocious.

YES! The 5th Gen is the GOAT IMO. I say the same thing about the 10th Gen comparison. Just like the FL5 reminds me of the 92-95 civic.
@@skatinemcee same here!
I thought the 04 was sweet when it came out with that led dash at the time

I do agree that if the aftermarket steps up, 11th could possibly get some more positive traction.

Yeah. The smoothed and rounded body-lines make it look like it’s designed for 60 y/o’s…
Agreed! I love my 2020! I test drove the 23 and the interior is 🤢
Too bad they got rid of the k20c4. Acura is now the only option for a new car with the 2.0t. Very expensive.
Unfortunately, I think that was the goal. Get customers to pay premium prices.
9.5 gen v6 was the best looking and performing
Lol. We can argue about that all day! 5th over everything.
Have you seen the new 2023 Accord in person? What's your opinion? Please don't forget to leave a like if you appreciated the video!

It's just......Blah.
I agree.
Looks better to me then the older one.
what do you like better?
