What a novel idea. To have your amplifier and preamp in a wooden case made by yourself. How cool is that
Right?!! They have my favorite look!!!
Have done wood working for 20 years, you do nice work man. Love the look of those amps, making me wish i still had my wood shop.
Hey!! Thanks for watching! I can’t imagine my sad life without a shop. So happy there!!
Well done. The orange XLR jacks were a very nice touch. Very classy.
Thanks!! I liked it as well!
Every day you wake up is the best day ever !!!
That’s right!!!
Holy Shit!!!!! You killed this project and all the others. It's great to find someone that can create Masterpieces!! Keep going and keep creating. Awesome channel!!
Thanks for watching Pete!! More to come soon!
Mad as a badger!
Very good project!!! The SonoMarantz series is already on my list of projects, thanks for sharing your pasion, greetings
Thanks Pedro. Check them out. The one with 6 tubes from Nobsound is better.
Have watched you many times before but for some crazy reason i never subscribed... You got me now!!!
Haha! Thanks Brice and welcome!
Nice cases !
Looking good!!!
Alright!!!
Most enjoyable, I love your style man . I look forward to more quality designs.
Thanks Nicholas!! I can’t wait either! Ha
Those look beautiful! I've been looking for a project like this - it might be time to try it out. Hope you are having a great day! - TZ
Thanks Tom!! Try it, it’s fun! Let’s have the best day ever.
Style and knowledge
Woohoo!!!
You are very fun to watch!
Thanks for the input and for watching!
Sonnora design I love your channel. Just the channel I wanted. Very very few on youtube diy centric and unique. Please keep this momentum. 🙏
Thanks Anand!! I’ll keep it going!
Great vídeo from jean Claude van Damme!😂
Thanks Chuck!!! Hehe
Good job
Thanks
Amigo bomba 💣 my bro
Que venga la bomba!
You need to test the Heco Aurora 300 dudes its nice, b.t.w nice build bbut d man...
Good Job :)
Thanks 😁
Man you have a lots of skills, I have an electronics and carpentry background. Can you make a Home Theater Personal Computer with a modern Cabinet.
That’s great! I guess I can.
ICE power was incubated by Bang & Olufsen before being spun off. There are original boards and Chinese copies. I build with one ICEPower 125ASX2 per speaker.
That’s right! Those are really good amps. The 125 works well and pretty accessible. Can be bridges as well. Thanks
Beautiful work! do you happen to sell your products anywhere in LA? Been looking for a preamp and this design is right up my alley.
Thanks for watching Stephen. I do sell it. Let’s connect on Instagram @sonnoradesign
Next, you have to try the newer Icepower AS series amps. Big step up. ie: Dual mono 200AS1
Yeah! I had this one but sure. I'm in! Gonna check it out. Thanks
@@sonnoradesign For a future project, check out PecanPi Streamer board with Volume control. I'm going to build dual 200AS1 with PecanPi streamer in one case. I have already been using a PecanPi streamer and its good.
Hey Paul. Yes man, I’m gonna start messing with those soon!!!
If you like, find info about the Chinese of Kinma Hypersonic Audio!!
Thanks for the input!!
@@sonnoradesign I received my first 2 amps yesterday, AV260 and the AV280HD next will be an full tube amp and 3way speakers....very special are there 5.1 and 7.1 series speakers and amps.
How about a nice two peace phono pre-amp that can drive a low output moving coil cartridge? I'd love to build something like that but do not have the knowledge to do it.
Well, I’d have to say that I don’t either!!! I’ll have to study a little further for a phono pre amp!!
That came out awesome. I would love to build it but I don't think I'm ready for something like that yet. I don't understand why the power amp needs 2 amps.
Thanks my friend!! Time will come! One of the boards has the power supply that feeds both amps. One per channel.
@@sonnoradesign ok I see. You are talented much respect. I want to start trying the markaudio drivers know that I saw all the things you can use them for.
Hello, Belated Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays !! You used walnut, in your opinion could Oak work ? Also, Bitch or equivalent plywood !! Nice job as Usual ! Bill from Northeastern France !!
Hey Bill. Yes! Any hardwood or ply would work. Up to your taste. Thanks man
Well, Sandman, enjoyable project and video !! However, need the right tools and, more importantly, honed acumen and, honestly, talent with your hands!! Merci, Bill from Northeastern France ! PS : what is your global price and time estimate ?!? Thanx !
Hey William! Thanks for watching! Let’s talk on Instagram?! @sonnoradesign
I ilke ❤😊
Thanks my friend!!!
Hello, I was thinking about building the ice amp and wanted to know how you like the sound of the ice, thanks
Hello Mike. I really like those amps. Matched with a tube pre amp sounds great. Very powerful and clean, sensible too, so easy to blow the board. Remember to have them plugged to the speakers before powering it up. Lot of manufacturers use them so it pretty much sounds like a bang olufsen or a peach tree…
@@sonnoradesign I know that a lot of companies use them and they are a lot of power for not to much money and I thought it would be a fun project, thanks and I hope you are doing good,
@@BostonMike68 thanks My friend! It’s a good deal for sure! All good here, hope you are well!
@@sonnoradesign thanks man I am doing good! I got a new job and a new girl. I'm building her a nice portable Bluetooth with the tang band subwoofer and a couple of 4 " full range Dayton reference mids out of oak. But I want to build the ice amp next!! Thanks my man
Amazing build! I was also thinking of pairing a Nobsound NS-01P tube preamp, acting as gain and input buffer to a Purifi based amp. However, Nobsound says NS-01P output impedance is 50kΩ, too high for Purifi 2.2kΩ unbuffered input impedance and ICEPower 200ASC which is 10kΩ. There is no minimum 10:1 impedance bridge to drive the amp. How did you solve this?
prob same as jh7, your best bet is to wait for their real limited anniversary release which i assume will be better than entry ciems, since tm9 sort of mass produced
next year is their 15th so prob anv5 incoming
but IcePower boards do include a buffer?
I think you'll find an error somewhere along the information chain. A pre-amp with a 50k output impedance would be right next door to useless, the line level losses would swamp it something awful.
Far more likely the output impedance is 50 ohms (no k) which is far more typical of these designs.
@s_Blake_579 Tube preamps' output impedance usually go around 2K (Fosi P3, MP-701). Shiit Freya is 75 ohms SE / 600 ohms BAL though.
🙋👍❤️
Thanks for watching
Did you check that the clone is the same exact circuit of a real 7 preamp...?
Hey Frank, thanks for watching. I didn’t check the circuit. Should I trust Ali Express?? 😆
You can trust yourself and verify it !
For your info : The model 7 used Telefunken as part of the sound.
Anyway a very nice job, i like it !@@sonnoradesign
That’s interesting! I had never heard a real Marantz 7. Thanks for the input my friend!!
Yes. There is a way to have multiple speakers and control all of them through the arylic app. Check the arylic website to see the options. There is a link on the description. Thanks again!!!
Hey Fernando. This is a big project man. There are some battery modules that you can attach to feed the amplifiers. Depending on how much power you want, you will need a lot of batteries. Keep it simple, I’d say.
Nice work bro..just curious, are you selling those pre-amp and poweramp?
Hey Jobert!! Haven’t sold them yet but sure.
Hi,how much would you be selling it?
@@jhob22 like 800$
ECC83 is the British version of the American 12AX7 they are equivalent tubes. Telefunken and Mullard are superior to RCA and Sylvania Tubes.
Thanks my friend!! Great input!!
Or Soviet 6N2P (6Н2П in russian)
