Several years ago I knew a blind massage therapist that did very deep trigger point therapy. He told me of a former client whose hair turned gray at a very early age many years prior to coming to see him. His sessions often ended in deep sobbing. Within six months, his hair started to return to it's original color. I never correlated it to past trauma until years later.
Ok - I have to say that you look AMAZING in navy blue! that blouse looks adorable and the color really suits you. And your message and mission are so appreciated.
Thank you Elisha. This video is pivotal and the most potent for me of yours so far. I feel an integration in you and that catalyzes an integration in me. You beautifully describe a process I undergo every morning, but I didn't have the words for it like you do. Your description helped me feel accompanied by your wisdom. I think you're really onto something with the phrase, "the trauma body". I look forward to "Unlocking the Trauma Body" course. This is already a great start. Thank you from my heart to yours.
This was so clarifying. And also encouraging. It’s interesting that when we’re less conscious and simply let the n.s. pattern run us, we may suffer less on a conscious level, even as we further ingrain the pattern. As we become aware of our automatic trauma responses, we may for a while, experience an increase of suffering, but by learning to accept, allow and trust with compassion, the the suffering no longer is a negative thing that takes something away from you. Learning to face and work through suffering and pain no longer decreases our quality of life, it increases it. It adds much positive to your life. Healing, awareness, transformation, growth, liberation become the gifts of facing the suffering. Navigating that process is a new thing in our culture. We’re barely learning ropes. Thank you for being an inspiration and pioneer of how to turn trauma into a pearl.
WOW - I love this Mirabelle! Thank you so much for adding your thoughts here. I feel encouraged to read your words, because I can feel that you GET IT, that you're living these words, and that means this paradigm of turning towards our pain to gain freedom is one person bigger. Which feels like a big deal given the cultural paradigm of chasing relief and quick fixes and a life of "no pain" (which isn't natural at all). Much love to you! 💛
Thank you! I feel celebrated for something that usually turns me into a party pooper. When I make discoveries about my pain & suffering, or when I break through to the courage to accept aspects of my illness which are scary, I get so excited, full of hope and enthusiasm for the healing learning doors it opens. I used to run to my family to tell them the good news, and they did not take it well. So, now I just journal it, and do a private happy dance. By the way, I loooved how you recommend not demanding change, but approaching with curiosity. It’s so respectful of the wisdom working through our bodies, and our stories. I’m often guilty of initially demanding change, but after a couple of minutes, i get into a gear of trust and listening. I am looking forward to your upcoming course.
Hi. I enjoy reading your descriptions below video. It helps me to name things that see and hear. I have deep feeling of abondance and it is located in my hip area. I did so many things to move it from my body. Honestly i believe that God is only one who can change it. And me. Two of us. Together. It needs time and procceses. There is not like a poiint i push and it desapear.
I have been following you for a long time now. I want to tell you are looking well, better. Different from the past. What ever you are doing keep doing it. You look like you have come into yourself. You look more content. I not talking just in a physical but your spirt looks happy. Good for you.
Hey Lily, thank you. I shared this in another video (long story, too) but we are once again adrift due to finding mold in the house we rented in Austin, TX. A lot of factors came into play, but we decided Texas didn't feel like home. So we're currently back in Colorado temporarily.
A while back I had severe tooth pain but when I went to the dentist there seemed to be no problem. He asked some questions and then pointed out that it was jaw clenching that eventually lead to tooth pain. He told me it came from stress and asked me what I had been stressing about and I had no answer. After that I came to find out I always wake up with severe jaw clenching (have no idea why I had not noticed it before) and that I also clenched througout the day. What helped was do sone little exercises making the opposite movement, so basically opening your mouth really wide. And learning to relax your jaw and teeth througout the day. But every so often it slits back in again. And I now begin to understand that this is because of a life time of walking around with trauma. So I am dealing with that now. I am glad that I found this out because I could not figure out what was going on in my life that could possibly give me so much stress.
My personal belief is that we hold all memories in the body, specifically the fascia. Science has not found anywhere in the brain, for example, that stores long term memory (only short term). Fascia seems to carry the memories of injuries and traumas and the way we held our bodies during certain experiences. I also think that we feel (know) truth in our bodies. Most of the people I work with are out of integrity with the truths their body knows, which is the cause of anxiety and tension. We pretend to be fine when we're not, we ignore pain hoping it will go away etc. Traumas are definitely held in the body in my opinion, or at least - they are reflected there until they are healed.
@@ElishaCeleste brains are really a sensitive part of the body and muscle movement and balance reflexes is sometimes emotional or anxious feelings. Its just not where the whole story is and expressive art therapy is helpful.
Hey Robert, long time no see. I have looked into it as far as reading the website. From the website, I don't have a clear understanding of WHAT the process is. I have no doubt it's helping a lot of people. I have a feeling the actual process is very different from what I teach, or what has worked for me. I've tried various kinds of energy healing methods, and they never helped me very much. I tend to need really physical, visceral methods. My personal belief is that we're all different, so I think it's wonderful that there are so many different methods that we can try in order to find what works for us.
hi. I know this is comment is pretty late. Fascia is a layer of fibrous connective tissue that surrounds muscles, blood vessels and nerves The rectus sheath (extensive vertical darker gray at left), an example of a fascia A fascia (/ˈfæʃ(i)ə/; pl.: fasciae /ˈfæʃii/ or fascias; adjective fascial; from Latin: "band") is a generic term for macroscopic membranous bodily structures. Fasciae are classified as superficial, visceral or deep, and further designated according to their anatomical location.

I cry, i get nauseas and I have thrown up.
It makes me wanna stop but I know I need to go thru it to heal.
Thank you for your help

Hi Elisha! I wonder if you’ll address biofield tuning? It seems there’s a lot of overlap
Hi Lynn - I don't know what bitfield tuning is.
Biofield tuning with tuning forks

what about thought or memory like a fear or trauma? It's not a feeling for me.😅
