This awesome blazer was my first after my son was born. I went everywhere in it. I lived in East Glacier Montana and there were plenty of camping trips and off road trips this blazer took me too. I miss it😔

I have a 1992 Suburban K2500 that sat for 12 years. The paint is in damn good shape, no rust anywhere. They don't make trucks like these anymore. This thing is amazing. P.S The music choice is sooo good, would even make Casey Kasem proud.

I've got an '88 that's got 79k original miles. Just had it painted with the original dark blue. It's not pristine, but for living outdoors and being driven hard in the mountains, it's better than most. It's not lifted, but it's got 17" rims and some tall, skinny mud tires. Only mechanical failure has been one of the hub locks and a fuel pump. Oh, and somehow when I was in highschool the muffler failed and came off 😉
My dad had an all blue 87. Wow beautiful "specimen". Nice.

I don't see those around anymore like I use to back in the day, & same with the Suburbans & crew cab pickups with that same body style. But the regular cab pickups with that same body style on the other hand I still see out on the roads today, just not as many as I use to see back in the day when they were new.

I have a 90. I wish I owned a 72. I would like to take the roof all the way off.
I've got a 71 now. They are pretty cool, but have their issues. You lose a lot of rigidity without that half cab. Rattly doors and squeaks. In the resto process, I'm boxing the frame in hopes that it stiffens it some.

I've come to the point where I seriously don't care for modern day automobiles anymore. Too many computers, too many features, too much stuff that can go wrong in these rolling appliances we have now. Could I just buy something like this gorgeous K5 as a daily driver and never buy another modern day car again? I've been looking at 70s and 80s 4x4 trucks as a reliable daily driver since I'm so over modern vehicles. I prefer classic cars anyway. 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s American cars are bad-ass. These new vehicles suck in my opinion.

@@ASpecialBlend In all seriousness though, I am looking for a early to mid 80s 4x4 K5 Blazer and/or Suburban. Those are classic beautiful trucks and they’re perfect daily drivers. Once I buy one of those, (or both), I’ll never look at another modern automobile again. And if I need to go somewhere I don’t know where that location is, I’ll just use the GPS on my phone.
