Just got my 22 Sentro yesterday and I laid in bed last nite thinking how of how to do thumb hole! Thanks for the tut, very helpful and gave me one of those ahhh-haaaa moments :)
This is mind blowing! Your tips and tricks like making thumb holes are so out of the box and helpful! I'm a big crochet nut but don't have the coordination for knitting but just got a sentro 48 for Christmas and am excited to start creating with it!
I just make a tub I don't take them off 3 of them off when I have amount of it rows I went I take the yarn different colors I take it off the machine then I crochet it and make a hole for the thumb then it done.
I was thinking the same thing Sam, as I wanna purchase the 48 Sentro, but I can't afford to by both, too expensive in my country. Hence the reason to buy the bigger 48 needle 👍
Hello! I've heard some negatives about the Sentro 22, that it breaks easily.....will you give me your opinion and how many projects you've done on this machine?
The 22 is definitely the most fickle one out of the bunch. Over the years I've had to replace mine twice but I do a lot of projects between scrunchies and socks so mine could be just wear and tear.
Is this a good size machine to make arm and leg warmers ? I'm quite a petite person. An I'm not sure what size to start with? 🤔 I'll probs get the bigger one if I get into it more than small projects. Just not sure what size to get for Leg warmers lol
Hi! I actually just got the 32 Needle machine (and did a video on it). I feel like that one or the 40 needle would be better suited for leg warmers. I tried doing those last year on the 22 and they were a bit snug

I have a question for you can I do this to a addi knitting machine the on 22knitting machine
Hi Lydia,
The addi seems like it works the same as the sentro almost so I don't see why not. I think it'd work out alright!
Hi there! Can you use the 48 pin for this tutorial? That’s the only machine I have right now
Hi! I'm not sure right now, that's an idea I'd have to experiment with.
you can do a flat panel and darn up sides leaving a thumb hole

Can you do this method? On 48pin.
You could. You'd have to do some folding and shaping though.

What size machine are you using
Hi Darlene,
For this tutorial, I used the 22 needle machine
the loom won’t let me go backwards in plain stitch mode?
Maybe your machine doesn't have a flat panel mode.
Do you want to be friends to me
Mal...muy mal .
