Poor Bud unlucky in love, but Al's boss Gary took shine to him when he was in the shoe store and came on to him, and Bud didn't stop her. Al was mortified when he found out they were sleeping together.
I saw that clip, it was goofy! Mary's niece Amber liked Bud too. He had a few gal pals over the years.

Al may not have gone to college but he could perfectly describe the frat party.
Al Bundy’s conversation reminds me of the fact that I had to go back to my family because of a skyrocketing rent of my apartment. But if that rent had never skyrocketed, and I stayed in that apartment of mine a lot longer, I would’ve had that fantasy that Al was describing. The older you get, the more you can relate to Al Bundy, is Still a better father figure compared to what most of television shows have.
