About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). I love the fact that Peg could've easily used a dustpan to sweep up the ashes that fell out of the grill and put them back in, but the thought never even enters her mind, because Peggy Bundy DOES NOT do housework. Completely in character 😂

Besides the fact that this was one of the best shows of the 90's, what made it even better was watching my grandfather get a kick out of it. This brings back so many great memories of awesome times with my grandfather. He is probably bellied over laughing in heaven right now. Ahahaha good times.☺️☺️🤣

This show + Beavis and Butthead. I am a leftist but this show was a riot. They managed to fit in all sorts of characters and gave everyone moments to shine. Al Bundy was both laughable and serious. They took conservative talking points and made jokes that everybody could laugh about. Al is adorable in his stubbornness and "redneckness". Marcy is an equally exaggerated character the takes left ideas way too far and thus they are the perfect antagonists. And yet, when things go south, they all unite and fight together, for example when they beat up other families. Those were my favourite moments.
One of the best comedy shows ever produced.

I always liked this show. The fact that Ed ONiel and Amanda Bearse truly can't stand each other makes the whole show even funnier. Marcy the chicken and Ed the slob.

This seems like a memory from another life. I am 46 now but I remember Sundays along with the Simpsons and get a life and sit in the den with my grandmother and my mom and my brother and laugh until we were in tears. I even remember moving to Florida from Nashville Tennessee and there's an hour difference .I got to sit up until 10:00 and watch it. My brother is still with me but everyone else has long pasted 😔. I said it seems like another life ago ,in 2 years it will have been 30 years. Now when I watch married with children .I cry and fall nostalgic

I LOVE the connection that Christina Applegate and Katy Seagal has, they were recently in a project together on Netflix! 🏆🏆

The writers for the show were the best.
For family activities, they should have included the stuck in traffic freeway fight, that was an epic beatdown, and the whole family participated. I've seen so many of these episodes so many times, I can actually recite the dialogue along with the cast.

MWC series is full of laughs and funny situations that actually happens in real life, for example those drivers licenses are indeed given to just about anybody. America is now ruined by degenerates and MWC used humour to talk about those issues back then. Way ahead of its time and the best Sitcom ever!
