Have you reviewed the TANCHJIM Space (not Lite)? If so, how does it compare with the TANCHJIM Luna in sound? Are they plug-and-play? Like you don't need any drivers or anything to make it work? Also, would like to see a review of TRN TE PRO and 7HZ Artemis39.
I’ve had the Tanchjim Space Lite, and the Luna sounds quite similar but with slightly better detail, separation, and the added app connectivity. Both have a very similar sound signature and are plug-and-play without needing any drivers. I don’t have the TRN TE PRO or the 7HZ Artemis39 for comparison.
I have 8 dongles. Frankly speaking, especially the new ones based on cirrus logic dac kinda sound all similar to my ears. In fact, when testing them blind, I can hardly differentiate them 😂
You can hear the differences when you compare them side by side at the same volume, it makes the differences stand out more. I agree, most Cirrus Logic dongles sound pretty similar, with a few exceptions. But hey, if they sound the same to you, that’s awesome! Save your money and be happy, haha.
Do you use Spotify for tests ? I find RUclips music video sound much better than Spotify. My most use is MoonRiver 2 for higher power output in comparison to other dongles Thank You.
The TOPPING G5 is better in terms of sound quality and power. However, I recently tried the iBasso DC-Elite, and it’s hands down the best-sounding dongle I’ve ever tried. It outshines not only the TOPPING G5 and L&P W4 but also several DAPs priced over $1k. Yes, it's that impressive. There is some slight noise when adjusting the volume, and the volume adjustment could be finer, but when it comes to sound quality? It's endgame.
Yes, it is a linear or neutral dongle so it will not change the sound signature of your IEMs. If you use it with v-shaped IEMs, they will sound v-shaped.
Thanks! To be honest, the Moonriver 2 Ti, MIAD 01, and Tanchjim Luna sound so alike to me that I probably couldn’t tell them apart just by listening. They’re all linear, super detailed, with great instrument separation, and they just sound really natural. The Luna is also really handy since you can use it with any smartphone or laptop, plus you can control it through the Tanchjim app.
Good review Axel. Man the design on the Luna looks solid.
Thanks!
Great review bro

I've already placed my order, but I'll take it as a reference, thanks.

Where is this app? The current one just defaults to a screen requesting I enable Bluetooth for iem connection and doesn't move forward.
You can download it from their website.
Thanks for the comparison! Cantor review soon by any chance? 👀
You're welcome! The Cantor video should be ready in a day or two.
@@Atechreviews really looking forward to it!

Which dongle is best sounding for you?
Moonriver 2 Ti and Luna. They sound 99% similar to me.
@@Atechreviews what about moondrop miad in comparison?
@@Opeth1483 Miad 01 sounds similar IMO.
@@Atechreviews what about colorfly m1p?
@@Opeth1483 I've never tried it.
Do you think this dac would fit with v shaped iems?

@@Atechreviews have u tried iphone 15? How is the output from USB-c?vs miad 01
@@shahkhan110 No, I haven’t tried it with iPhone 15 yet, but I can give it a go with my iPhone 14 if that helps!
What dongle will you recommend with Glacier? Glacier is amazing, but I want to get the most out of it! Thank you.
I used to use the FiiO BTR7, Moondrop Moonriver 2 Ti and the E1DA 9038/9039, but now I’m using the Luna. You can also check out the Topping G5.
Whats the performance of the blon V1?
Great, I recommend it.
Please review fiio ka13

@@Atechreviews Thank you so much for considering it

Digital and analog can mean different things to different people. What exactly do you mean by digital and analog?
