Thank you DEDE because of you , are whole family bathed and dryed our puppy today and we all felt so comfortable doing it. It’s all thanks to you for showing us how to do it !! We take him to PetSmart but it was nice to actually do it ourselves and have that bonding experience with him. thank you..
This is the first video I’ve seen of yours. My family is considering a aussiedoodle. Would you ever consider making a video going through what owners can do to get their dogs ready for this type of grooming? We’ve never had a dog with hair like this and if it’s in our future I’d like to prepare the puppy for his sake and the groomers. Unless you’ve done a video like that before!
Nice job explaining. I just got a 4 month old miniature Aussie doodle and this was very informative. 💜🙏🇺🇸
I love your style, very gentle with each temperament. I would love to see a photo shot of the before and after of each groom at the end of your videos. Good luck to you and your business.
Awe, this boy is super cute. I can really tell he's still a nervous puppy. He will get better though the more he's "messed" with. You did a great job grooming him!
I think he was such a good boy! What a great job you did Dede! New subbie and Im addicted
Great video, thanks for sharing. I just got an Aussiedoodle and wanted to see what their cut looked like before taking her to a groomer in my area...love this cut ♡!
What a great puppy. I love his eyes!! Great job on his hair cut!
We have a 5 month old Aussiedoodle. Thank you for this video. It's a huge help.
I’m no groomer but I love watching your videos and learning how to groom dogs. Love from Australia
I would love to learn how to do aggressive dogs. But scared to I know I little bit a grooming I did grooming for 2 years but I kind of miss it You make it look so easy Your always patience and kind to those fur babies I love watching your videos
Big difference! You did a great job on this sweet boy
Keep up the great work. I hope one day you get a better and bigger space. ❤️
He looks like a different dog after his haircut!! Such a handsome boy!!! You did a great job!!! 💟💟
What a gorgeous boy & a great temperament! Great job as always Dede! Love from Australia.
I gotta know... Did he get his treats?
I’m coming back and watching this a year later BUT I have two aussies and they love they’re treats. Lol
My husband's girl looks just like this boy. Getting ready for her first cut. I just love all her crazy hair.
Dede love the sparkles in your hair.
kathy parten she actually sells them on her store if you want some
Such a CUTE dog!!
Beautiful dog
Awesome puppy!
Adorable puppy! Very cute cut for him too!
Super Cute Puppy! 💙
I really like they way you groom
He’s so cute awesome job Dede always😘🐕
aww he's so cute :) im training to be a dog groomer and enjoy watching you loads :)
Such a sweeetie.....some of the dogs you groom are adorable. Others are a handful.
I love Maximus!! He is so Adorable!
I freakin love my brush I got from you. I had a slicker but never used it I hated it. The pins were really stiff or something. My new one is awesome👍🏻 thank you. 😊
Lori Proffer b
Beautiful!
It's amazing what they're combining eith the poodle these days.
Christina Owens do you blame them poodles are very smart dogs my dog is a jackapoo (jack Russell and poodle) when she was young I trained her to open peanut cans and she learned that in a day she can't do it much now mostly bc she can't see she got cateracts when she was 2 I wanted to get them removed but down here in Ontario Canada it's 3,000-6,000 per eye
Poodles are so smart! I have a German shepherd / standard poodle aka shepadoodle. His protection skills are on par with a GSD, he's super smart and easy to train - that's the poodle, and a very sweet loving disposition, also poodle. Couldn't ask for a better animal.
Christina Owens
You are so right ! Me and my family are currently on this 5 day hold for a Aussiedoodle and I never had heard of it lol we saw it and it looked different and so curly and black all over with so much personality so yea. You are so right they are breeding everything with the poodle
I’m back writing a year later BUT...I have two Aussies 11 months. They are easy to train separately because they love attention! I recommend them because they aren’t notice very much!
Aussie-Aussiedoodle
Aussiedoodle- Australian Shepard + Poodle mix.
Great video!
U r so gentle with your pups! Some groomers on you tube r so aggressive I wouldn’t let them touch my pup ever! I get assertive but some r more aggressive. U have the touch
He is so cute!
Wish you were in Chicago! Could use a good groomer for my mini Aussie
This is the hybrid I've always wanted. Blue or red merle, though.
He is soooo cute!!!
"Don't get mad Man!"
He’s going to be a big boy!
Awesome vid
Thank you dede for saying
That dogs can bite if
They are cute or sweet
It made me think
About dogs now
Good work
He is adorbs!
Currently have a Aussie doodle that needs a trim BUT I’m so scared that his hair won’t grow back so pretty like it is currently!
Nice job
This puppy is adorable. I think he did pretty well considering he is a puppy. I think he needed a few more "good boy" encouragements. I think his winning is because he would rather be running and playing than just standing in one place. 🤔🤗
Just omg he is so stinkin’ cute!!!
You gave me some really good tips I can’t really afford to take him to a groomer but I think I’m getting the hang of it the first two times poor thing I was embarrassed to even take him outside because I thought somebody would think he was being abused because I did a terrible job cutting his hair lmao
I think he did really well and turned out beautiful Dede. I have an Aussiedoodle puppy expected to arrive at my home in a few weeks. So exciting. Praise the Lord 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🌈
What a sweet dog❤u did a great and so did he!
How old should ADs be to have their first grooming?
Dog: "Who was that masked woman? I wanted to thank her."
What a nice job. We have a 10 week old aussie doodle. Over a month til groomer available. Should I trim around her pooper?
so gorgeous!
this one is going to be good!!! 😊
I couldn’t see how you did the sanitary trim!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Does he shed?
I love chicken pad Thai! lol Great job! You are so good at distracting the dogs! I love all the different noises you make! Boop boop! lol I might try it one one of my patients one day, who knows! lol ; )
Hi dede. I know that you mostly deal with difficult dogs who need to have a quick turn around but I'd love to see you do a groom maybe something like a shitzu using your scissors instead of the shave off.
Dog is so sweet.
I need a grooming stand to keep her from sitting can you sell me one ?
www.dogupstand.com/
He is sooo cute! I know with poodle it's the curly coat. His other breeding is it the double coat where you have to keep it stripped? Just curious....
U went to grooming school? So u went to a school and then to PetSmart and then a vet? How long did u groom before u opened your own place
were are your location
Can I just be Dede's friend please?
Absolutely! I love pen pals. I don't have the time to write everyday, but I would love to be in touch! Write me here dede_grooms@yahoo.com
Where does she live?
What about mini?
I had no idea your business was right down the street from me!
Fantastic job what would you recommend for getting the hair white. I adopted a Aussie doodle and most of his white hair is dirty brown some places yellow, could you tell me what to use whiteness hair I really don't want to clip him thank you
cut it off, and keep the dog clean, email me, dede_grooms@yahoo.com
Whatva sweet puppy :)
Hi, Dede! You’ve probably seen me commenting all over your videos lately. I’m addicted and just can’t stop watching! 😆 I’m wondering how do you handle grooming dogs who lick excessively? My toy poodle is a licker, and I’m really afraid that one day she going to get her tongue nicked when I’m doing a clean face and feet or clipping her front legs and chest area. Also, would the small dog up stand work on a tiny 6 lb toy poodle? I can see it helping tremendously with her grooms. She doesn’t like to stay standing and ends up moving all over the table which makes the groom take twice as long. Not fun for her or me. Also, if the dog up stand would be too big for her, is there something else you’d recommend? Thank you in advance for any help you can give, and also thank you for these videos!
facemonkey13 don't get a clean face.. it would be very difficult for a groomer to do if they're constantly licking. The chest and other areas they can deal with.. the face is a whole different story.
My Aussie doodle sat on the sofa and watched the entire video staring at the screen lol his name is taco he is 3 and I just wanted you to know I love your videos
Sweet dog face💕
The arm that moves around the table.. that's a design for that specific table right? U can't get arms that do without that table can u?
aileenmcp a company called tableworks makes a moveable arm for any regular grooming table.
Charlene Dwyer Lois Croley thanks I just looked into it. The arms look like any other arms. They don't seem to move around the table.. ?
They do move around the table like in this video. Also Edemco might sell them.
Hi! I live in Fort Worth, and I was wondering how much you charge for grooming or where I can make an appointment with you?
I have a mini Aussiedoodle!
What type of clipper and blades are you using?
7 blade www.myfavoritegroomer.com/product-page/andis-ceramicedge-blades
Can you share where did you get your hair clipper? And which one is it

He's so pretty. I want him!!!!
Passing this along -
I used to have a really skitty horse who absolutely hated being clipped. The solution was to put a stall toy full of treats in front of his face to distract him. You could have pet parents bring whatever yums the dog is used to and hang them in a mesh bag from the loop arm so you can work while the dog is busy with the snacks.
Gayle Klein funny you mention horses as I just did a first face cleanup on a 4 year old Friesian/Quarter horse gelding Quietist horse I have ever had the pleasure of clipping. He is smart enough to pick things up quickly but honest enough to not take advantage of his people.
Freisians are fantastic. Absolutely beautiful with floaty gaits. The horse in LadyHawke is a Fresian.
I have Norweigian Fjord horses now. Hairy beasts, but steady and calm.
Not sure if you're interested in horse stuff. There is a niche for groomers to brush out feathers, braid manes/tails and clip in the spring.

Don't be wild man. I'm laughing here. :D
Okay I don't get it why do people buy a designer breed pet and then not want it to look like the breed that it is?!? Come on ppl!!
I’ve noticed that dogs which would have been called a mutt or just a generic “mix” are now being given more specific breed names. Like my best friend’s dog was just a spaniel/teacup poodle mix, and now days would be a cavapoo (I think mom was a cavalier spaniel… I know the dad was the teacup poodle). So it maybe not do much that they got a designer dog, but dogs in general are being given more specific labels.
Also, the owner may be looking to emphasize the Aussie side over the poodle. Especially since he’s shedding like the Aussie shepherd side than the poodle.

Yes you're right...I have been Momma to them all. I just had "a moment" that's what my momma called it.
I KNOW the importance of adoption/rescue but sometimes people are needing certain skills...as in service dogs! I have been completely AMAZED at how quickly my GSD has learned new skills that I need help with. Yes I bought her from a breeder and I felt guilty about it at first. Then I thought OK I didn't have any part of creating this dog. She was here no matter what. I can however give her life meaning, love and satisfaction. I teach her something one evening and I can literally see her thinking and figuring it out. After she connects the dots OMG! Sorry for the long comment!
I can see why the doodle folks would rather not their dog look like a poodle face. The rounded look is so much cuter!
I think she trims them down like that because it gets so hot in Texas
Doodle mom here :) we prefer the teddy bear looking on a doodle, poodles have a more narrow face, generally a golden or in my case a German Shepherd has more boxy rounded snout. I prefer my shepadoodle not look poodly.
How old is he? He’s definitely very puppy! Also, I’m guessing he’s an F1 which is first generation. They tend to shed more in aussiedoodles.
I have an F2 with hardly any shredding
@@margaretcarroll-tornberg5694 my boy is an F1b with almost zero shedding. :)
Hi Dede. It's pronounced Ozzie. Luv from Australia 😘
lmao I was going to write this exact comment haha
Good thinking.
He reminds me of doodles from the tweenies 😂😂😂
Great job as always😁 Best groomer I Have have ever seen
Looks almost like an old English sheep dog!
Apothegmatic Reality he does not
daring Q&A with jalapeños He kind of does... You can't really disagree with what he reminds me of.
Obviously he doen't look like a purebred but he has similar colours and build, but with short fur, and a slightly different fur type.
Looks a lot like my Aussiedoodle. When I took her to the Vet, she thought my dog was an old English sheep dog!--so I looked up images and was startled to see many looked exactly like my Sophie.
what a god dam cutie
He wanted to kiss and he was told to put his thing away lol. He wants his legacy to live on but I don’t think the groomer is your type, bud.
Poor baby looks like he got a bad perm 😂
Mad Max? Lol
HOW MUCH THEY CHARGE FOR CUTTING DOOG'S HAIR
Not sure what an aussiedoddle is. This beautiful boy looks like a cross with standard poodle and border collie. Yes. I am an Aussie.
Australian Shepherd
No such breed. We are know for our blue heelers etc.
No, it's a breed. It's not from australia. It's just named that. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Shepherd
Google is your friend, bruh
Kay Tickle Australian shepherd x standard poodle
Bearded Collie in the mix?
I have an aussiedoodle named Jager! His insta is @jagerdood if you wanna check him out :)
Now that I've seen more of the video, this pup is SO MUCH like my aussiedoodle! The same mannerisms, they have the same whine, facial expressions, everything. So crazy!
Alissa Lyn I have an aussiedoodle too. Darcy is an F1b so he looks more poodle. Awesome dogs!
She’s to speedy .
It’s awesome, I share the same name as the mama, and I’m an Aussie lover!!! Haha!
Far. Toooooooo short 🤯
UGGGG
"Don't make my poodle look like a poodle"
Hate it
Ashley actually the classic poodle cut makes them look like a lion. i also prefer the puppy cut :)
Vera Nika Thats exactly what people mean when they say it. Im a groomer.
Is it Easier to cut their hair wet or dry or dry I shave mine for the 1st time and I could barely get through they get through the Fur. Any special tool that you use?
Since when do we start bribing a dog into doing what wr want them to do. Nice one Dede
Why are you wearing a mask
