Joe get's sick. Viv and Phil step up and sing! Mad respect to these guys! Always been a Def Leppard fan. Not just cause they play great music, but they really care about each other and their fans.
That really is rare for any band long term, and especially in rock music. I guess the most negativity between Def Leppard members was when they fired Pete forty years ago. Since then, they have demonstrated their love for each other very well. It's another good reason to admire and respect them.
This is the only band I’ve ever seen that seriously cares about each other as brothers and their fans and they go all out to do any and everything for everyone to accommodate themselves and us. They’re all such wonderful musicians. ♥️

I used to think the echos of vocals heard in concert were pre-recorded and played back, but here sure enough, we hear Vivian's and then Phil's voice on the echo! I should have believed Viv when he told us all years ago that Def Leppard does not use vocal tips!

So that normally when Joe singing and everyone's doing the background vocals it sounds like there's four Joe Eliots singing at once and the choruses. It's why they are SO legit. Same here I got to see Def Leppard in augest 26 2018 in Columbus Ohio where the football stadium 🏟 is at the Def Leppard concert was loud and it was awesome 😎 but it was very loud but I had fun at the Def Leppard concert rock on 🤘 Def Leppard

Definitely the most unique Def Leppard show I have ever been to. I know there was a lot bitching going around the ship after this short but interesting show. I know this could not have been easy for the band to do, and I for one am glad I got to see this piece of rock history. And to all the people who bitched about the band. FUCK YOU! Don Witt I was happy to see that show. It was unique. Only about 5 songs, so it was quick. However, to be fair, I paid $800 for my cabin. The ones "bitching" had a valid reason. They paid in excess of $4000, and rightly felt ripped off. The weather was bad, so we never made it to the port excursion, the bass player for Last in Line dropped dead, and Leppard never performed. What's worse, we were there to see Leppard and they never left their cabins.
I saw Leppard play twice on the cruise - yes it was the acoustic show and that one without Joe singing but shit happens - It was not Leppards fault - the cruise line had more shit fuck up than anything and at least Def Leppard lived up to the promise Joe said - My wife & I got to see them in Birmingham Al the following August for free

As a singer I know this just happens. Unlike a guitar player we cannot just change a broken string, or drum head and go on. Many nights I went on knowing I wasn't 100%. I feel for Joe.. They did a great job handling that situation

I literally teared up when Joe said he couldn't perform. then he said everyone gets a free ticket!! Cue the niagra falls!! I love this band so damn much for 35 years!!!!

Its called reverb. A lot of bands use reverb on the vocals and the snare drum to help fill out the sound
