When I was going through chemo and was losing my hair, I invested in a real hair wig and my fabulous hair stylist recut it in the style of my hair and even coloured it to the colour she used on me. It was really a boost to my morale. Now I am older (77 in June) I am thinking of getting a new wig in my natural colour ( grey). I think it would be a good way to start the day without the fuss of styling my hair, and much quicker!!💕🇨🇦
I saw you said you didn’t like the color of the wig,so get it dyed,as you look fabulous in it,first pair of glasses no brainer, the second pair so much fun,you should wear them too. You, and I are very lucky time has been kind to us ,you look so much younger than you are,people tell me I do too, I’m 79,and have very little grey hair,no more than a average 45 year old might have,so that helps.it’s strange as both my parents were very grey.Enjoy the wig,and glasses Tina.

Hi TIna I use those heat pads all the time I put them everywhere from back to shoulder to knees.they are great..I realised that a lot of my arm problem and tingling was coming from my neck and the way I was sitting and using my I pad..I have tried to raise the I pad up to eye level and stop looking down all the time and putting my neck into a bad position that causes strain to the nerves..knowing that has made me more aware to get in a better sitting position when I am online now..hope that helps. It’s a lot to do with our posture Tina..we didn’t sit that way in our younger days before the internet…I have stared to stretch out my spine in the morning and do some deep breathing exercises and shoulder rotations..it helps me..👍

Mind you, wigs have greatly improved since then. I never wore them in warm weather and got a headache if I had one from morning until bedtime. A friend of mine has a medical condition and needs to wear a wig all the time. When I first met her I always admired her hairstyle and didn’t find out it was a wig until a year or so later. Her granddaughter is a hairdresser and she takes care of it for her. Do you get to keep the wig? If so you could perhaps have it cut by your hairdresser in a slightly shorter graduated bob style especially the fringe as it seemed too long for you.
