Ya , those original valves are completely useless! So frustrating as you lose so much air trying to attach/detach them! Thanks for this video showing the adapter, I will order one immediately.
Yah I was also frustrated. You lose like 5-6 psi just removing it lol.
Great video toturial of the problem every one get with this tyres 😀
Thank you! Yah losing air when trying to pump tires is no fun haha.
Thank you. I had a hard time getting the right amount of air in my tires
Glad I could help :)
Excellent tips. Thank you.🎉😊
Anytime! Thanks for watching 😊
Genius
I actually add (just) a little more than recommended for the air pressure so the loss on removing the pump is even less. Do it on my e-bike, motorcycle, and scooter.
That works too. I’ve had cases on some scooters where the valve stem doesn’t protrude enough above the surface of the wheel to where by the time I get the rubber extension off I’ve lost like 20% of the air.
My dude, Great Advice! 😎👊
Thank you! Hoping to help others avoid the frustration of screw on rubber valve extensions haha.
Thank you for such wonderful tutorial just discovered your channel you earned a sub, question if i dont have the extension thing am i really out of options? Someone said with pliers i can force it come out a bit
Thank you! It’s possible that would work with a tubed tire. Tried that on a bike that had a short valve on the tube but ended up getting an extension as it was a bit of a pain. I’d honestly go with the extension if possible.
its simple. dont screw the extender all the way in. screw it on enough that when you push it in it opens the valve. hold it in while youre pumping and voila you dont have to loose pressure while unscrewing it
I’ll definitely give that a try and report back. Thanks for sharing!
this is what I need; a flex extention that I can screw onto my Honda scooter as the wheel "spokes" are too close to the nozzle..
Do you have the Honda Motocompacto electric scooter?
@@tomsgadgetgarage I wish there was a such a thing as I do want to go electric. No I don''t; they don't have one in the states yet. I have 2015 Honda Metropolitan gas .. can't get my nozzle in to pump up the tires... I ordered a flexible adaptter to see if it works with my compressor or my portable inflator.
That looks like a nice ride! Back in college I wanted a Vespa so bad but it was waaay out of the budget for me haha. Hopefully the flexible nozzle works out.
Why not just use the valve stem extension if it doesn't lose any air?
You can use the valve stem adapter with the screw on hose connections. My issue is that it’s more of a pain to get on and off compared to a chuck adapter.
@@tomsgadgetgarage I prefer a simple connection method that is cheaper / saves money :)
Bro my valve is pushed in & I can't get the chuck adapter to grab it bc it's pushed in to far, front wheel, does anybody kno how to fix this? I tried needle nose pliers but it still doesn't grab it
Are you able to let air out of the tire and try and manipulate the tire around to reposition the valve?
@@tomsgadgetgarage ill try now!!
@tomsgadgetgarage My Pop said to put an extender on it & I can put air that way but I jus bought it last week & it shouldn't be doing that right??
It shouldn’t do that but even when all is right, there’s not much to work with. I’d get the extender though. Will definitely make things a lot easier.
@tomsgadgetgarage ok thx bro I appreciate it 🙏
