All you have to do is rubber mallet the barrel into the upper receiver after proper alignment. Provided you have a good fit, it shouldn’t rotate when you do the final torque with the nut
Thanks mate , very interesting and explained 👍, also got the same kit Noveske ( mws ) , the hop up got broken right after the shop assembled my rifle after first test 😂😂, there’s also a gap where the hop up unit seats and may cause some damage if not centered and locked in place correctly…
I also have the same kit and I noticed a little gap on the walls where the hop up unit seats… this causes a little rotation on the barrel, visible when you lock in a supressor for example. Did you notice this kind of problem too?
@@giovanniperuzzi4542 if your barrel nut is tight, your inner barrel/outer barrel shouldn’t move when adding a qd suppressor.. I would try adding some barrel shims
hey noodlehead i have this hop up problem: the hop up seems to turn on and off at random- say i’m shooting a full mag, semi auto, one shot per second until the mag runs out. the hop dial is set to like 40 percent. I might get 3 shots with hop, 2 shots with no hop, 1 shot with hop, 3 shots with no hop, 3 shots with hop. If I turn the hop dial to full, this problem goes away. but then all my BBs overhop obviously. i’m assuming that something about the hop up came loose, maybe due to a bad install? but i have no idea what might be loose I’m using a PDI barrel, laylax hop arm, and 60 degree autobot bucking. P.S. could you post a video of how to install a new bucking and barrel? (i’m wondering if I installed mine wrong)
Check out eagle 6’s videos he has good install vids which is why I never felt the need to do any, but sure I’ll add to the list. Sorry not active here but do have some things Id like to film. For your problem it’s hard to say but sounds like something could be loose, the screw that holds the hop adjuster in is found under the handguard so if you remove your front end you can check that it’s secure.. again watch eagle 6 video and id just reassemble everything and see if it fixes it, good luck
Can be hard to diagnose here, join the discord: discord.gg/x9hamH4g But I’d first ask if it’s stock parts and either way would check the screw that secured the hop wheel unit which can be found above the barrel (need to remove handguard)
this is a very caveman solution but you can unstick the hop arm by simply turning the hop wheel to full, then to zero, then to full, then to zero, and repeat
Basically either add a longer tight bore inner barrel or add an npas from ra-tech or orga, could also use a higher flow nozzle valve but I haven’t tried those. An npas is adjustable so will let you tune your fps better. If I want to stick with short inner barrel for Cqb builds, npas is the best bet

I havnt had this happen yetm but im glad i watched your video in case it does in the future!
It’s pretty random and I’d say semi rare, only seems to happen with certain builds

I had the same issue on my hao 416d, that way my adjuster broke
Also fyi you want to do final torque with a mm armorers wrench, not by hand like I showed. That was jus for illustrative purposes
Thanks bro! I think that was my problem!

Weird, I don't get this issue with the C&C MWS hop up unit. Also using the dytac N4 kit
Ymmv with Hop ups, this only happens in certain builds but can drive people crazy if they don’t know what’s happening
I have an issue with the MWS not holding its hop. It will just take it's self off! Please can you help:)

What bucking are you using with the Laylax arm?
It’s personal preference but lately my favorite is the silicone maple leaf mr buckings 60 or 70. Also like modify tan
Bro how you line line the nsr and the upper?
It’s a great kit, I can recommend! Just dropped a video going over it 🤙

Perhaps, every situation is different but when mine is stuck, it’s not going anywhere
Could you do a tutorial video about upping the fps?
Sure man! Will put it on the list
