I do still remember, SAMORA MACHEL had to sand thousands of troops to help them to fight IAN SMITH regime. Here in south Africa, it is the same. We never had civil war to liberate us from Apartheid. But Matebeland man should develop their territory just like Shona people. Problem with Ndebeles in Zimbabwe is jumping the boarder and going to SA without completion of education or going to trade school. Only Ndebele females are left with no man to look after them resulting in them being married to Shona man. Ndebele man should prioritize developing their territory, Shonas are doing developments in their cities without ZANU for the most part, let’s be real about it. Matebeleland is very primitive because most of their people don’t want to go to school like Shonas. The development in Mashonaland has little to do with ZANU, Shonas work harder and completes elite universities and colleges.

Remember I haven’t been to Zimbabwe in 20 years, just visited a month ago. Matebeleland needs to level up, it’s too primitive to be honest. How can it develop when the man there are just running away like Mabhena etc. Bulawayo has got beautiful university of technology, NUST, could be in top 10 elite universities in Africa, putting politics aside, however it’s filled by Shonas. The pension I got from SA working for government I used to mechanize my parents farm, now we do commercial farming. The reason Shonas go to SA is the reason why Europeans, Chinese, Indians move around the world looking for opportunities. Majority of Shonas are moving to Europe, US, Canada and Australia even China looking for business opportunities, good jobs etc to develop home and it’s working. Visit towns in Mashonaland and see massive houses, small industries people are developing it’s impressive. However, Matebeleland is primitive, nothing is going on, man there just run away to SA and only come back when old.
