- The MK Party says it will appeal the ruling interdicting impeached judge John Hlophe's participation in the JSC. The Western Cape High Court ruled in favour of the DA’s urgent application earlier today. MK spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela has more.

This judgement exposed the rot in the judicial system. This matter was supposed to be ventilated by parliament than by the court. The court giving a judgement in this case was a huge mistake, showing now that there is no separation of power.

The selective morality that prevails in this country will never go away. This is so, due to apartheid denialists having had and continuing to enjoy the best, despite paying no price for that they had been the beneficiaries of, which has placed them in a position that has deceived them into believing they are superior. In Gauteng you have Magistrate who overturn High Court orders. They are promoted as judge by JP Mlambo (Judge Mpofu) you set down a matter. They send their secretaries to oppose you. Where are we going, what is happening with our judiciary. Its sad.

This is more of a moral and ethical case. Its not about him being qualified and competent, its about him sitting as a member of the JSC to interview candidates for the position he was removed due to his unethical conduct. You may appeal but won't succeed.

As a journalist the best way to work a guy like him, is to let him speak fast, but you listen to him slowly.
