- This is a fan made video about an *upcoming* game from Square Enix, initially called Final Fantasy versus XIII BUT HAS NOW BEEN RENAMED FOR THE NEXT INSTALMENT FINAL FANTASY XV - yuhoooooo!!! The main character is Noctis and the girl is Stella.
This GMV's story is totally fan made and plotted by ME and has no resemblance at all with the original story of the game.

The song is in Japanese, its title and performer properly credited at the end of this description and has no relation with the game also.

FANMADE STORY:
Noctis is the former vampire king and last one of his race. The vampire hunters are determined to kill him and rid Earth from these monsters once and for all. But humans and technology are no match for the strongest of vampires, even alone. He completely annihilates the army they sent. But Noctis was feeling lonely and guilty and just too tired of living from centuries straight.
Times ago he ended up falling in love with one of the spies of the hunters, Stella, and they held a secret romance. She was in a run, hiding from the hunters, because they discovered her and wanted her dead for treason. Noctis decided that, if he was to die, it could only be by his lover's hand...
Well, that's the main thing XD Follow the lyrics, and the feelings and meanings of the story will be clear. Who knows someday I don't write a fanfic?? I sure write ways better than do GMV's T.T

this guy is officially one of my fav characters of all time.
Very nice. Nice pick with using Gakt as the singer as well, since he was the character model for Genesis Rhapshodos from -Crisis Core- Final Fantasy VII.
And now the game is finally released!

IT'S BEEN 7 YEARS?! I didn't think it was announced that long ago! Man time sure flies by fast!
it was announced in 2006, so it’s been 10 years since then, i can’t believe it’s finally releasing.
an its not even 10 years worth of a game in the end.
LimeDot the final Fantasy XIII series took presidence over XIII-versus and a lot of people were off production. At one point only 20 people were developing it. Once KH was sorted, they got that team working on it so the 20 became 200.
When full development got underway they were shown the PS4 and moved it onto that. The program that they were originally working with didn't work on the PS4 system so a brand new program was produced.
proper development didn't get underway until AFTER the XIII trilogy was released.
The mojority of those 10 years was planning and concepts. When something is annoucned it isn't always going to come out in a few months or a couple of years.
it takes a lot of time to create RPG type games and these days SE doesn't like announcing things in bulk because of this.
not only that but the story was also changed completely (so I've read).
Have a little more understanding and respect for the amount of time and effort that it actually takes to produce a game of XV's size and actually see that not everything is smooth sailing on the other side.
Why must this be so good. This amv rocks and because of that this song is now one of my favs. And now I have and obsession with the song and this amv, Thanks to u.
With a trailer like this, the game really deserves a movie to followup the epicness put into this

Do you remember this game? Forget it, Tabata made sure to shit on it and make it a Happy camping simulator.
That moment when Tabata became director, the whole gameplay style changed as well. It went from a normal-like action RPG like KH to an action turn based gameplay style. Which in my opinion, doesn't work really well in this game considering this game started out as an action RPG exactly like Kingdom Hearts. I also hate that they took the dark mysterious vibe it had. Now it's all happy days.

This is very well done. I'm excited for this game. To bad it dosnt come out for what another year? T.T I finally just found and finished all previous games. (9 eluded me fore 5 years finally lucked out at a garage sale.) Nothing to do but play lightening returns and wait for this to come out. Kinda got a ps4 to continue these games lol. luckily there were four others coming out but I would of gotten it just for this game.

@Mionechan I think he just meant that the main character is bad ass and completely crushes the ordinary soldiers that are opposing him. If I remember correctly in the trailer he blocks a bunch of rockets or rpgs with a wall of swords.
You shouldn't trust everything you hear on the internet. We can all still hope.. I'd hope they wouldn't pull a move like that after announcing it 6 years ago.. They've even said they were still working on it just this is next in line after Dream Drop Distance.. Don't let words get you down and hope for the best. Great AMV by the way.

The story is pretty much the same. Tabata just edited it to fit in one game (Nomura wanted multiple games to cover the story)
Mionechan The only thing that's different (except the lore) is that Noctis was present during the attack. The four friends on the road has been there since the beginning. The few environments we saw from Versus are still in 15 (minus a few areas from Insomnia)
OracleGrouse Now that the game is out and Tabata have talked, no, the story is completely different of what Nomura was making. They only kept the characters, the world of Eos and the concept of war, the rest is confirmed to be a totally different story.
Anyways, i liked the story Tabata made, but yes.. im curious to see what Versus XIII could have been. The main character seemed to be more epic in that game.

I hope SE wouldn't have asked Tabata to disconnect it from the FNC lore...Maybe the pre-prod would have been shorter and they would've had more time for prod,
But yes I'm happy with the ffxv story, and the universe has so much potential

This game is doing just what VII did before being released, it's inspiring people, it's blowing peoples minds, it's exciting people, all Square has to do is advertise this game to the extreme and it will outsell VII.

@Mionechan you can always use footage from ff 13 itself (if you cheat and put in ff13/versus as the title so it wont be as repetitive and be able to get your hands on more footage)sorry but thats just how my brain works its still well made

@MrSuwaidiSama I highly doubt 100% like KH. FF and KH are different i think they will use features from KH and then add a Element of FF to it.
And for KH Fans the only reason KH 3 has not yet been put into development is because The KH team and boss of this and KH were concentrating their focus on this game. it was in a interview somewhere xD.
