Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been making as much content as much as I used to. I shifted my focus from editing videos to tennis and now Smash Bros. Life's been a challenge, so I'm hoping you can take some time to read my story on a GoFundMe page I created. And hopefully I can get back to my hobby of creating RUclips videos for you guys!
I fell in love with Stella when I first saw the trailer. She was elegant yet fierce. I was so confused and disappointed when she was no longer included.

Do you still remember our promises back then?..., *smiles. I know you won't forget it, I wish if we can see the dream that you gave me back then together, but.. I'm sorry Noctis that i'm the one who broke and can't fulfill our promises and stay by your side any longer'' *touches Noctis's face softly and smiles for the last time ''You were always been my savior, Noctis. Always been forever." *Saying within her heart, then she say the last thing with her last strenght ''Thank you for filling my heart and making my life so meaningful.'' *Stella's hand starts to fall. Noctis freezed for a moment and starts to crying and shout her name out loud while touching her face and hugged her tightly and in the final Noctis went fall into despair.
Dammit why was the original plot really really good?!? Square enix why did you get rid of something so well and like so worth my damn money (Also can I just say who awesome this looks, nicely put together!)
Everytime I watch this I just am reminded of what could've been and that we will never get this game it's sad this would have been so much better than 15
Plus they have most of the assets already so it wouldn’t really cost them anything much AND they have the music which is actually one of few things that did not change going into xv and if I recall I think there was an interview in 2012ish and it basically confirmed that while the game it’s self wasn’t near completion the story was. Plus just imagine the title FF XV the 13 verse addistion or ffxv age of verses or even ff verses xv

They have pretty much the whole sound track as it is. Honestly it would be a good business move especially they allowed players who all ready purchased the og xv to upgrade to this version for free like what they did with ffxiv back in the day. Plus not only would it sell really well let’s be real and make ffxv not be the one ff game people absolutely hate (for good reason), but it some what repair squares reputation, cuz let’s be real every thing about xv hurt them in the eyes of many consumers and fans from the poor mismanagement to even to false advertising
@@jakelawrence6618 Sorry, but you obviously don't have the slightest clue about game development. Making ANOTHER game, even by recycling assets, would take years - and then expecting them to give it out for free on top is just as unrealistic as can be. (Because it also means it wouldn't "sell well", pretty much everyone has a cheap copy of FF XV nowadays). Just having a basic story, models and a few animations isn't even half of it - environment design, dramaturgy, voice cast, lighting...like, I don't know how easy you think making games is, but all of these things take a looong time. This deosn't even take into consideration the fact that for a different story they would certainly need many DIFFERENT models too, meaning most existing assets are already worthless anyways.
Seeing this my heart breaks knowing that this game will never be released 😭 I love this dark atmosphere. I love the dark Noctis. I love absolutely everything about Versus XIII. In this form it would be definitely the best Final Fantasy ever made. Who the hell made the decision to wrap it into FF15 in the form we get it 😩 THIS FF Versus XIII would be a legend. How about a alternative universe, how about anything but just made it happen... :* (

You know as much as I love FF15 as it is now THIS footage is what I originally hyped for. You could at least restore some of it in the form of a post game quest(DLC) or something but as awesome as this is I doubt they will do it. I don't even know why they deviated from the original plan and story in the first place.
I would like versus 13 more 15 because of the rivalry between noctis and stella but if that came out I would never discover final fantasy but it would worth it I discovered final fantasy with the xiii-2
I just played and finished FFXV for the first time a week ago and this trailer is something I never saw until now. It has better fighting/combat scenes than any in the game LOL. I DO remember a trailer long ago featuring just Noctis sitting on the throne and then coming out to take down an entire group of soldiers. We couldn't get any awesome cutscene like that in the game?
Sherm Stunna This is probably true, but....did they really have to nix Stella to break away from the FF13 series? I still don't see why that was necessary, or the total reworking of the plot. It basically became Final Fantasy BroCode, No Girls Allowed, imo.
Apparently they said that when they were reworking the game into XV, Stella's character was changing so much that fans wouldn't appreciate it so they scrapped her and developed Luna. I still think Stella could easily have fit into XV, though, and Luna didn't fit with the game well enough.

I can’t believe it took like 15 years to make this game Originally it was gonna be a lot more like 13. It was a part of a trilogy along with with 13 and Agito 13 (later renamed Type-0). Surprisingly, despite the name change, Type-0 kept the 13-like lore
This just helps to show the hollow shell of a story we actually got from ff15, I get it that Tetsuya Nomora had too much on his plate at the time but they gutted so much from the plot 😢 leaving us with a almost open world with little to invest you into it. and then to brag about 500 side quest when In reality it was 5 sidequests you'd have to repeat 100 time each The ultimate kick to the sack was that the final dungeon in an ff game was a platforming dungeon... Sigh* at least the combat was good I guess..

1:05 - 1:16 That's the definition of Final Fantasy Versus XIII. It was all just a lie from Squeenix. FFXV's plot turned out to be garbage. Instead of being a fantasy based on reality as they promised.
@@annayu2396 Based on FF XIII versus trailer, noctis is more to anti-hero rather than hero. He kills human soldier and not a robot soldier. The new noctis can be annoying sometimes.
I replay FF15 I know it's not like what original concept but a lot of the scenes still relate to the story in its final release, I just picture this could be a trailer for a second ff15-2 you never know lol
it's real pity that Versus 13 suffered from the terrible ailement of Writer's Block, some of the ideas were there, but sadly the plot was never really surfacing. A pity really, such wasted potential, at least there is the hope for Verum Rex.
This is sad to watch now. Seeing what we could have had with versus XIII and comparing it to cluster f*** patchwork disaster that we got with XV. Great video and song. Just wish the team Square had brought in had simply finished what had been worked on for years instead of trying to rework into something different in a fraction of the time.

the original plot looked awesome. FFXV is ok, not the best but ok. Too bad they remade the whole game. I remember seeing these some years ago and couldn't wait to unveil the story behind Noctis having to fight Stella....seemed like a much more interesting story. The one that actually made it left me hoping for so much more. I mean, more than half of the game and still nothing interesting. I suppose i kept playing in hopes of the story turning out much better. They released an awsome movie, but the game all in all just fell flat to me
The story was supposed to be that Noctis has already killed Stella but doesn't realize this. Basically like what happened in the omen trailer. It was supposed to Romeo and Juliet thing. But ffv13 was planned to be 3 parts and Stella is only important in the first. So ff15 scrapped her because they said they needed a bigger part for the female lead. But looking back at how big of a role Luna played, I'd say they should have kept Stella lol. She would have been probably more important to the plot.
@Guile Solomon actually yes, Nomura did several interviews about vs 13 in the past. Most mentioning tidbits of story and ideas for mechanics at certain parts of the game. I remember way back in 2010 a gameplay trailer of the leviathan fight where the chocobros all have the vs13 outfits and hairstyles where the person demoing par cour’s as Noctis and can aim to throw weapons and teleport to them by pressing x whenever after throwing not an automatic short distance thing. There was even an interview he did where he commented on vs13 nearly being rated AO/Adult Only due to Insomnia worshipping Etro, goddess of light, new beginnings and death via rituals and blood letting. Kids going missing was a discussed arc and he even said Noctis sleeping a lot had to do with drug/substance abuse and being anemic from blood loss as well as not being entirely human. There was a topic discussion in one interview about Noctis’ mother and her being self sacrificed for him so he can get some kind of power and through that he gets his split personality and red eyes. Him going from blue eyes to red was an early plot point. Vs13 was supposed to be dark and brutal. A 180 degree turn from Sora, kh/Disney posterboy for family friendly.
There was this email circulating around in 2011 or 2012 with a detailed outline of the first 2 games and a summary idea for how the third was supposed to end. The story was going to be a very dark tragedy inspired by Williams Shakespeare’s Mc Beth. Everyone was supposed to die at the end except Noctis who became a monster of a king in order to save the world after losing everything. There was supposed to be this whole theme of sides and nothing being good or evil. There’s an old trailer with a Shakespeare quote outlining that idea. There’s even a trailer where Regis is talking to someone about how he will be the last king of Insomnia because he refuses to let a man like Noctis become king and he says he will never surrender the crystal.

Making ANOTHER game, even by recycling assets, would take years - and then expecting them to give it out for free on top is just as unrealistic as can be. (Because it also means it wouldn't "sell well", pretty much everyone has a cheap copy of FF XV nowadays).
Just having a basic story, models and a few animations isn't even half of it - environment design, dramaturgy, voice cast, lighting...like, I don't know how easy you think making games is, but all of these things take a looong time. This deosn't even take into consideration the fact that for a different story they would certainly need many DIFFERENT models too, meaning most existing assets are already worthless anyways.

I love this dark atmosphere. I love the dark Noctis. I love absolutely everything about Versus XIII. In this form it would be definitely the best Final Fantasy ever made. Who the hell made the decision to wrap it into FF15 in the form we get it 😩

You know as much as I love FF15 as it is now THIS footage is what I originally hyped for. You could at least restore some of it in the form of a post game quest(DLC) or something but as awesome as this is I doubt they will do it. I don't even know why they deviated from the original plan and story in the first place.

I just played and finished FFXV for the first time a week ago and this trailer is something I never saw until now. It has better fighting/combat scenes than any in the game LOL. I DO remember a trailer long ago featuring just Noctis sitting on the throne and then coming out to take down an entire group of soldiers. We couldn't get any awesome cutscene like that in the game?

This is probably true, but....did they really have to nix Stella to break away from the FF13 series? I still don't see why that was necessary, or the total reworking of the plot. It basically became Final Fantasy BroCode, No Girls Allowed, imo.
Apparently they said that when they were reworking the game into XV, Stella's character was changing so much that fans wouldn't appreciate it so they scrapped her and developed Luna. I still think Stella could easily have fit into XV, though, and Luna didn't fit with the game well enough.
I really wish they stayed the direction they were going with in the original plot.. It would have been more tragic.

This just helps to show the hollow shell of a story we actually got from ff15, I get it that Tetsuya Nomora had too much on his plate at the time but they gutted so much from the plot 😢 leaving us with a almost open world with little to invest you into it.

@@annayu2396 Based on FF XIII versus trailer, noctis is more to anti-hero rather than hero. He kills human soldier and not a robot soldier. The new noctis can be annoying sometimes.
I replay FF15 I know it's not like what original concept but a lot of the scenes still relate to the story in its final release, I just picture this could be a trailer for a second ff15-2 you never know lol

it's real pity that Versus 13 suffered from the terrible ailement of Writer's Block, some of the ideas were there, but sadly the plot was never really surfacing. A pity really, such wasted potential, at least there is the hope for Verum Rex.

the original plot looked awesome. FFXV is ok, not the best but ok. Too bad they remade the whole game. I remember seeing these some years ago and couldn't wait to unveil the story behind Noctis having to fight Stella....seemed like a much more interesting story. The one that actually made it left me hoping for so much more. I mean, more than half of the game and still nothing interesting. I suppose i kept playing in hopes of the story turning out much better. They released an awsome movie, but the game all in all just fell flat to me

The story was supposed to be that Noctis has already killed Stella but doesn't realize this. Basically like what happened in the omen trailer. It was supposed to Romeo and Juliet thing. But ffv13 was planned to be 3 parts and Stella is only important in the first. So ff15 scrapped her because they said they needed a bigger part for the female lead. But looking back at how big of a role Luna played, I'd say they should have kept Stella lol. She would have been probably more important to the plot.
@Guile Solomon actually yes, Nomura did several interviews about vs 13 in the past. Most mentioning tidbits of story and ideas for mechanics at certain parts of the game.
I remember way back in 2010 a gameplay trailer of the leviathan fight where the chocobros all have the vs13 outfits and hairstyles where the person demoing par cour’s as Noctis and can aim to throw weapons and teleport to them by pressing x whenever after throwing not an automatic short distance thing.
There was even an interview he did where he commented on vs13 nearly being rated AO/Adult Only due to Insomnia worshipping Etro, goddess of light, new beginnings and death via rituals and blood letting. Kids going missing was a discussed arc and he even said Noctis sleeping a lot had to do with drug/substance abuse and being anemic from blood loss as well as not being entirely human.
There was a topic discussion in one interview about Noctis’ mother and her being self sacrificed for him so he can get some kind of power and through that he gets his split personality and red eyes. Him going from blue eyes to red was an early plot point.
Vs13 was supposed to be dark and brutal. A 180 degree turn from Sora, kh/Disney posterboy for family friendly.
There was this email circulating around in 2011 or 2012 with a detailed outline of the first 2 games and a summary idea for how the third was supposed to end.
The story was going to be a very dark tragedy inspired by Williams Shakespeare’s Mc Beth. Everyone was supposed to die at the end except Noctis who became a monster of a king in order to save the world after losing everything.
There was supposed to be this whole theme of sides and nothing being good or evil. There’s an old trailer with a Shakespeare quote outlining that idea.
There’s even a trailer where Regis is talking to someone about how he will be the last king of Insomnia because he refuses to let a man like Noctis become king and he says he will never surrender the crystal.
