$14 arcade joystick from china - worth it?

Ok so I pulled a full 180 on this one. I hated it at first, the diagonals didnt work at first and I had to open it up and take a part out, but it worked well enough after that and won me over. So now I like it as a simple grab and play some quick games type of device. Links below if you are interested in it.

yeah, and it works about that pricepoint worth, wouldnt pay more for this one. Just fun as a tinkering device for some quick gameplay. Works well for galaga type stuff.
