    I love that you have expanded outside of just crocheting. I believe you have started to make crocheters and knitters realize ,we all can love yarn. It’s not a battle. After all you should enjoy your hobbies. So thank you.❤️

    I love this hat. What a lovely 😍 pattern. Have my yarn ready and waiting on a delivery on Monday with the interchangeable needles with short circular needles to get started. But I think I'll magic loop the top rather than work with ☠DPN's☠
    I am a knitter but learning to crochet with you.

    Ooo! A hat video! (Sets phone on window sill) I can wash dishes and watch this..... Forgets dishes and starts mentally sifting through the yarn stash in storage wondering if I have what is needed to make this hat... 🤔🤔🤔

    I also just started knitting about a month ago. I'm curious about using both needles when casting on. Is that to make the initial stitches larger so they look even as the fabric grows? I go up a hook size for my chain when crocheting so it stays the same size as the fabric. Same concept here with using both needles?

    • @stephanienorris364
      @stephanienorris364 2 года назад +1

      It helps keep your cast on loose so it has the stretch. Nothing worse than making a beautiful hat or socks and there isn't any give or stretch and it won't fit. You can also go up a couple needle sizes for cast on to insure the ease and give needed for the ribbing. 😊

    I'm kinda confused on the round 8 of the pattern. The pattern shows
    8th rnd: *With B, K2. With C, K1.With B, K2.
    But what I'm seeing in the video is yes you did start K2, then K1, but you went ahead to do K4 instead of K2 and repeat from K1 and K4 until the end. So if I never watched the video, my work would have looked a lot different if I followed the pattern to heart. Is this the oversight on Yarnspiration when they wrote the pattern or am I missing some hidden stitches?

    Is the cast on in this tutorial for left handed people?

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  2 года назад +1

      No... I'm right handed. I cannot show left handed in knitting format as camera flip makes it technically inaccurate.

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  2 года назад +2

      Yes. I am forming a plan to move the knitter tutorials aside and out of view of the crocheters on this channel. I am planning on doing that in December. I need time to move the knitter tutorials out of the way so the crochet will remain priority. I am busy learning this new skill and capturing my learning lessons in real time so i don't forget the skill and execution.

    Crochet.

    • @TheCrochetCrowd
      @TheCrochetCrowd  2 года назад

      No. Crochet is priority. I am teaching myself to knit to further my skills as a person. I am showing what I am learning. I know for some crocheters, it's upsetting them that I am expanding my skill set. The learning to Knit Series has been stalled as I am receiving a lot of complaints about it. I have tutorials scheduled up to May 2023 as people are complaining about the content and speed of the tutorials I am making. It's a no win situation.
