Mom told me I was born in a Cabbage Patch. I kind of believe her... I was 9lbs 8oz when I was born. My mom was 4' 11 " tall. She must have been a butter ball. 😍😍

This video totally touched my heart! My doll was named Carrie Ann. She's nice and safe at my parents house and they still have her adoption papers in a photo album.

The original Babyland General was a lot cooler it was in a real medical center building or doctor's office so it looked more like a hospital and had more rooms set up like preemie unit and school classes in the center of the rooms was a larger room with the tree and cabbage patch. At the end was the adoption center or gift shop but there were little rooms to fill out your adoption paperwork-thay may have been where Flower Anne was born before they moved to the larger building

I grew up in the 80s, I remember Cabbage Patch kids being a phenomenon! Love you Jenn, hope your health is doing okay, I also have an auto-immune disease 🙂
I remember in 84 (I think) when the premies came out, my dad paid an over the road trucker to bring me one from 2 states away for Christmas! People were paying crazy amount of money for them when they came out. My premies name was Jimmy.

I think the ones with shiny hair were released a couple years into the Cabbage Patch Kid craze and were marketed as Corn Silk Kids.

Oh Jenn, your Flower Ann is a twin my Winnie! That’s the original yellow dress too isn’t it? I loved Babyland, I loved that when I went I immediately turned into a 7yr old girl and the place was full of other 40+ yr old women and we are all like little kids, it was the neatest!
I got my grand daughter a baby cabbage patch while I was there and she was totally unimpressed because it didn’t “do anything” 🙄🤦♀️😂

i had a kitty cabbage patch when I was a kid but after I got diagnosed with dysphagia my inlaws tossed all my things and I didnt get a chance to save my baby....I was feeling depressed but this made my day.Thank you Jen!! Also if anyone sees one on sale please let me know Im trying to find my plushies they tossed out :( he had striped body and hair had a white line in the middle with brown hair and a tail

How Neat is it to have a special Toy from your childhood. I played rough with my Dolls, Her new outfit is so Adorable, looks Great with the Easter Decor. I was nearly a teen when the Cabbage patch came out I owned two I Had Orange Toothie Doll pluss a Brunette too. I Hope you Consider adopting another Cabbage patch, Canbage patch babies should Never be alone, I now own 24 of them❤

What an accomplishment you've kept her & the orig dress all this time and she looks in great condition! I should've kept my Heidi Alana but you know parents..time to spring clean all the time so she got in our garage sale when I was a kiddly. I used to put her on my bike for rides lol. My sister and I have discussed this. We believe that the following things have souls: Pets. (No duh; every animal over believes that.) Houseplants. Automobiles, especially those owned by a family. (She believes helium balloons do, but I can't make that leap.) And, of course, TOYS!

I have my dolls, from childhood, too. I love most, all dolls! I have collected Barbie dolls since I was a kid! I was about 13 or 14 when the Cabbage Patch dolls became a craze, and no one thought to get me one. 😢 But, when I was in my late 20's, my hubby got me some cute, little, Christmas 🎄 Cabbage Patch dolls! 🎎 So, I do finally have some Cabbage Patch dolls, and I am 54 years old!! 😊 💜 💜 I truly enjoyed going to Babyland General with you, today...and I loved tagging along with you & Jacob, when you went there, together! I have many debilitating health issues, including autoimmune issues, too! 😢I would never be able to go to all of the places that Jacob, and you, go to visit, so I am super thankful that you both, share your adventures with all of us!! 😊 💜 💜 💜 ((Hugs)) and Much Love to you Sweetie!
