Saw lots of bears last time I was there . My 4th great grandpa is buried in Cades Cove. My family was some of the first settlers there.

I'm so happy you got to see some bears!!! I used to see them trying to eat out of the trashcans across the road from my old job in Asheville all the time. One time when I was heading home, the car in front of me slammed on their brakes, and I was cursing them out until I saw a little baby bear amble its way to the side of the road. They sure are cuties! I hope you get to feeling better soon!
That's probably a very beautiful place in the spring 💐 because of the pink and white dogwoods and autumn 🍁
its a scenic location, so you are supposed to just drive slowly so that you can look over and see things , or in case of animals crossing...LOL ... Usually you are more than likely to see something when you go if you take your time on the road way and pull over when you are able to to let the others by.

Loving your videos. Cades Cove is someplace you need to make sure you've got at least over half a tank of gas and some water and snacks with you. Hope you're feeling better soon. Our car was totaled over a week ago and now I've caught strep from the grandson. Jacob and your videos gives me something to enjoy in my day.

I love cades cove. It’s so pretty. I haven’t been in a few years so thanks for taking me along. When I was younger my mom would chase all the animals into the woods with a video camera in hand. How she didn’t get attacked is beyond me. I think the most I’ve seen in one trip was 20 something deer and 5 or 6 bears. I’ve went other times and saw nothing. This was a great video.

That's always my worst nightmare, having to use the bathroom 😂 panic! I was very relieved to know that you found a bathroom. I felt your pain 😂😂 I love driving through the redwoods avenue of the Giants in California. Last time we drove through there we stopped and played music really loud and it echoed beautifully through the trees ❤️ Well I'm glad that you got to see a few bears.
Glad your long trip was worth it. I live in the Allegheny Mountains in PA and bears are quite common in our community. Your mountains are much more majestic than ours so I was more interested in the scenic views. Great mountains!!!!! After seeing the Blue Ridge Parkway video, I’d love to travel that route!

You adventure had much suspense.... Another fun video would be Stone Mountain, NC where the wildlife come right up to your car. You can also watch people climbing the big stone. It doesn't get the visitors that the one in Ga. gets but maybe that's a good thing. :)

My wife and daughter were there a couple of weeks ago, and saw/took pics of quite a few bear, and elk….
I would definitely want a signal in bear country if on a bike just in case I need help!

Hello Jenny great scenic filming Beautiful place to be for the day. I Live in Niagara Falls N.Y I got to see a Beautiful Black bear really close off the road while driving on our way to Ellicottville N.Y on my way to Salamanca Antique Mall she /or he was only about 12 feet away from our car munching on wild berries. On that same day on our way back we seen a Beautiful white wolf chasing a bunny they were close but on the opposite side. I know a lot about bear if your alone if one comes after you please keep bear pepper spray and a couple pots to bang loudly. Bears hate loud noises. Never Ever get close to a Mother Bear and her cubs she will murder you they are Extremely protective over their babies
Hey Jenn you look pretty with your hair up! We have a place in the mountains of Pennsylvania and we had a momma bear and 2 cubs last year on our ring cameras. We have seen just the mom alone a couple weeks ago

I have been to Shenandoah National Park in VA and was hoping to see bears. My mom has seen some in the mountains. I really want to see some bears while driving through the mountains. Maybe one day!
When you passed the bathroom the first time I said outloud you passed the bathroom. If you want a guide for your next Cades cove adventure let me know. I am there taking photos 2-3 days per week. I usually go in the morning on week days. Too many people in the afternoon. No charge. Also you and Jacob should check out Knoxville zoo.

Hi Jenny Penny! I started watching you recently after seeing you through Carpetbaggers channel. But to answer your question, yes you absolutely should buy an electric bike. I just got one recently for our RV and it would be perfect for Cades Cove. Plus it would make a great RUclips video :). Thanks for the video’s! In addition, I live in Wilmington, NC and Brevard (Asheville) is my favorite place. My husband and I love to chase waterfalls and you and Jacob live in a sweet spot to find them.
Thanks for so much effort and time to show us the bears. I loved the video, it was fun and relaxing.🙂 Please be careful though, just some friendly advice, bears are beautiful animals but are very dangerous and need to be shown respect because of that alone. Especially mama bears and their cubs, it's for the best to keep a safe distance. Don't ever be alone outside of your car if you go back and don't ever bring a dog with you, it's a myth to think they'll protect you, It may actually make you a bigger target. You'd probably be better off with a cat oddly enough lol. Very pretty sunset, nice way to conclude the video.

In the Disney + legend of the 3 caballeros in episode 2 a Donald and friends get a bear friend and he stays for the rest of the series his name is Humphrey he’s in several Disney shorts an I think one with Donald
The actor that voiced the Ranger friend of Humphrey was also the voice of Mr. Smee in Peter Pan. I love Humphrey. There is a small picture of him in the Redwood Creek Challenge in California Adventure in Anaheim.
