Fun fact I found recently is all the actors in that film are from Ontario Canada , minus Burl Ives … and the lady who voiced Rudolph was from Burlington Ontario next to me.

I remember punch and judy even in the 80s and early 90s though newer ones are more toned down on the hitting 😅 . There was a punch magazine waaaaay back so probably referencing that .

Jen thank you so much for this wonderful video. I will be 60 in December, and I absolutely love Rudolph. I go over to my parents' house every year and watch Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer. My parents are 86 and my mom still loves this movie like I do. It was a treasure getting to see the real Rudolph and Santa. I will be showing my mom your video. Love the new intro. Being a AV/ Broadcast major I've made a stop motion video using my Ace Frehley action figure. It is a slow process. You gotta really love it to do it for a career or a hobby.

I loved Rudolph ❤ born the same year as me!! I loved sesame Street too when it first came on in 1969. And you're never too old to do arts and crafts 😊

Your videos are exciting because YOU are excited about them!😊 But this one WAS an especially cool one. Rudolph came out when I was three. It meant different things as I aged. I was bullied as a kid and did not have much family report. I was an unwanted misfit that did not fit in. I especially identified when the king of the Island of Misfit Toys would not let Rudolph's group stay because they were not toys . Even among misfits they were misfits and could not fit in.

I had absolutely no idea that they used puppets in the Rudolph movie, also thought it was claymation. Wow!

Iam so jealous that you got to see the real Santa & Rudolph, I am 68 years old and I remember the first year that Rudolph the Red-Nosed reindeer came on and I have seen it nearly every year since it's been on I am so glad you really got to go so I can at least see it on RUclips Merry Christmas to you and Joseph I hope only the happiest of times for you two.
