      As both jokic and lebron enjoyer, I can say that with a few better execution the lakers couldve easily beaten the nuggets and probably advance to the finals. Theyre just poor down the stretch while the nuggets are so consistent and seemingly unbothered with the score at hand

      @@Anyhunnidone let's be real the Lakers can win if Lebron comes off the bench. No seriously though. He needs to take a step back and let AD lead the team
      Even if I don't like him and enjoy seeing him fail just to expose who he is, the shortsighted pattern of everyone in this situation is concerning

  • @Tussinette
    @Tussinette 2 месяца назад +100

    It is ABSOLUTELY LeBron's fault! LeBron and AD did not outplay Murray and Jokić, they outscored them and these are two very different things.
    LeBron systematically playing for his stats instead of engaging the support players is precisely the reason why they underperform. Saying that it isn't LeBron's or AD's fault because they score a lot of points shows a poor understanding of basketball.
    Another factor is LeBron James' horrible leadership: showing disappointment and frustration through his gesture, throwing others under the bus in interviews, bailing himself out after a defeat stating that he played well, that he had a triple double... Compare this to Jokić who doesn't care about his own stats, tries to have all the players on the field engaged, never putting the blame on anyone, praising any small thing his supporting cast does.
    For which of these two leaders would you be more likely to give 100%?
    Yes, defeat is always the responsibility of the leaders of the team.

    I think in this case, you should include the amount of assists that they have the others too. Because I think that would paint a much different picture as jokics Whole point as a player is to get assists. That's what he plays for not to score the most amount of points but to open up his teammates and get them the rock so they can make points.

    Denver 'big 3' was already together in the bubble. Murray and Porter got injured and went missing for a long while, so Jokic was alone in some playoff runs. Aaron Gordon got there right after.
    Since the bubble Lakers blew up the team and got rid of everybody apart from Lebron and AD and brought then waived as shitload of players.
    Then they lose and blame these guys who just got there. The little guys are doomed on that team.

    Lebron is never gonna have a decent bench because they're not allowed to do anything except for defending and passing the ball to Bron and AD, that way, the bench will never produce anything good, look at the same guys when Lebron doesn't play, they all get assists, points and rebounds, the stats get spread more amongst the whole field, when Lebron plays, the others sacrifice their production because Lebron has to be the hero, he puts up his stats and you see the media quick to blame everybody else for not putting 30 points when in reality, you're not allowed to do it because he will trade you. Adn the thing is, Lebron cares about being the hero more than winning the game, he wants to win them the game, he doesn't want to help them win.
