Skopje North Macedonia is an interesting place as they just gained their independence 30 years ago. They city feel as if it is in a transition as there are a few westernized restaurants that we found and actually have places like KFC, Burger King and more.
We didn't go to those places but we did check out some burgers, pizza, and sushi. Some were great, others not so great, but we gave it a shot.
We did try a variety of local foods such as burek, a summer stew, a bean dish and some delicious pastries.

I’m coming in March any suggestions on good bar’s.
The city is really interesting as some places were busy or new. We went to Kantina and thought that place was nice. We got coffee Heart Bar, but obviously may have been better as a bar! Haah

Probably not the best Balkan food there. It is hard to talk about general Balkan food anyway, as there is such a huge variety and difference between local cuisines in that countries. But I would guess, you won´t retire in Skopje one day for many obvious reasons 😉
Haha there are places that are higher on my list but we found things we enjoyed while we were here!
