Hi I’m planning a trip to Milwaukee soon early November I’m wondering what to wear as far as a coat goes🤷🏼‍♀️🙄A semi thick winter coat OR a semi quilted jacket, I do Tend to get hot easily in a heavy coat unless it’s in the teens or below 12 degrees , 🤷🏼‍♀️ what do your think Also in early Nov does it rain a lot ? I recommend anyone staying in Inverness visits the Benromach distillery. Superb quality whisky, (better than most on this tour other than Glenlivet). The Aberlour A’bundadh and the Craigallachie 13 whiskies are both excellent as well to be fair. You can get to Benromach on the train from Inverness in about 30mins, (allowing you to enjoy a tasting at the distillery itself). They’ve also got an attractive distillery and a great history, (including royal connections that you will find out about in their visitor centre, including photo’s).

The animals were Canada Geese and it looked like a muskrat swimming in the water (no flat tail like a beaver). If you go back, get a "Juicy Lucy" at matt's bar and stop by legendary first avenue for a photo op.

I have to admit that I didn't get much past the opening 5 minutes because seeing that you highlighted beer, sports, burritos and pizza does not convince me that Milwaukee is "underrated". Cities with a lot to offer have beautiful vistas, incredible architecture, great shopping with both designer brands and unique handmade gems, cultural institutions like museums, art galleries and theaters, and, SAFE diverse ethnic communities which reflect the heritage of those communities. Kayaking on the brown (polluted?) Milwaukee river and commenting about it being an industrial area screams to the viewer that Milwaukee is NOT a world class city. Milwaukee is only underrated if your values focus on drinking, sports and mainstream food instead of what the rest of the world considers interesting cultural aspects.

I've lived in towns and areas near New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco and Seattle, as well as 4 foreign countries. Milwaukee's my favorite.

Just 5 miles north of the downtown, one can take the bike trail, that starts across the street from the Art museum, to visit German style beer gardens at Hubbard Park and Estabrook Park. Don't miss EITHER on a visit to Milwaukee.

I agree - Milwaukee has a lot more to over than some give it credit...

What a great find of all the local eatery's and coffee shops of Boise and Meridian, Idaho. We went through there several years ago as a family vacation on the way to Yellowstone. Our city isn’t as dirty as those popular cities also. We also don’t have rows & rows of homeless people on the streets like in those popular cities.

Every single road is a cratered, undriveable hell, yet they have millions to throwaway on a Street Car System nobody uses. They have a near south side with houses that have falling apart since the 1970s. Never send a liberal to do an adult's job.

I live in Milwaukee, and my wedding was at a museum overlooking the lake. People thought we were married in Italy or Greece, with the emerald blue lake in the background. I love Milwaukee!
