- I had to take you all down the street from my house to show you the destruction from the storms we have been having here in Santa Cruz. Seacliff State beach is a mess, and the cement ship pier is destroyed! There is major damage in Capitola, Aptos and throughout Santa Cruz County. You have got to see this!

Lots of fire wood.
That storm was a doozy. However, a friend of mine made the best of it. He got at the top of that cliff and jumped about 200 feet down into the violent breakers. As you can imagine, he got thumped in the head by some of that huge driftwood. Finally knocked some sense into him. Rest his soul in Davey Jones’ locker.
Look inland - forests in all directions.
rivers rose, downed trees and sent them into the bay, the waves washed them back ashore, wrecking anything they smashed into. my beach too.
We used to take our kids out onto the cement ship in their strollers. So sad to see it like this. Thanks for posting this. 👍🏼

Crazy! I used to stop here after getting an ice cream before I went to night classes at the college. One time , I stopped by and saw dolphins 🐬 swimming at sunset. It was beautiful.

I tried to go down yesterday and it was completely blocked off. Road, stairs and path blocked. Only construction guys down there

I live in Capitola too. On Cherry. It was nuts for sure. We will rebuild!

Unless free federal money is provided. The wharf won’t be rebuilt. I worked on the wharf for years. I know the cities relationship with the wharf. The city was constantly moaning and dragging ass about even MAINTAINING the wharf. Also, the National Marine Sanctuary isn’t going to peacefully allow the rebuilding.

What happened to you getting the new Tundra?🤔
In a perfect world i would go buy a ‘23 TRD PRO tomorrow, especially in white! but there a little big and expensive for where i’m at right now, im still planning my next move, but we’ll get something new soon.. And i will have a new Tundra someday, i will! 👍🏼
