Seems as combo of front from RP4 and back of RP3.
I used RP3 for 2 years and 30kkms - zero problems with materials. I really like its side vents which are not available on PR4 and PRO.
BMW gears seems sometimes too much bulky, but they really made solid to be used often and give no issues.
Have just bought Badlands 3 instead of PR3 and will test it next spring.
    PS
triple black is awesome on bikes, but too simple on jacket. No way to see all materials/ forms and technologies.

Utterly baffling they got rid of the massive back vent from the RP4 on this "upgrade", and there's no exhaust venting at all.

Good observation. They claim the interior piping allows the air to push the back-prpotector off of the skin and keep the body cool, Hmmm1 i actually had my tailor add two 6 inch back zipper vents which i plan to use when it gets steamy outside. i do really appreciate the lightweight pro wool material used compared to a triple lamenated gortex but i also question this lighweight , thin armor thats included. i have a difficult time believing its CE level 2.

@@vidablue734 the sastec Tripleflex (what BMW is using here in a custom designed pattern) is one of the lowest profile L2 armors around. It’s good stuff, sacrificing some of the ultimate protection the NP2 had in favor of significantly increased flexibility.
The RP4 also uses the ProTechWool, the new 2022 Rallye drops even more venting and goes to a cotton blend 🙃

You mentioned a thermal liner which can be attached to those inner studs on the jacket, is this available? Thanks

Great protection but you need a over rainsuit in a down pour....I prefer my Revit Sand 2...12 years old and still dry...other than the arms tight...and had to upgrade the armour the Revit suit is dry.

Thanks for the video. Teach us how to wash the pants and jacket and liners, please.. Some jackets aren't supposed to be washed for the strange reason that it messes with the waterproofing.

I really like the construction of this set. Finally a waterproof membrane on the outside! But the color is really boring. Why not give us a design similar to the old rally suits, with this construction technique? And the black fabric attracts heat, why not offer lighter colors too?

    A thousand dollars for a jacket... 🤦‍♂️
    People really love their status-symbols.

Yeah. Agreed. You can get an aero stitch for couple of hundreds more and that’s WAY better…

Why is it BMW can't make a waterproof adventure suit suit minus an external cover suit yet Revit have it sorted as early as their Sand 2 suits,,,I have a S2 and it's 12 years old and with upgraded armor, it offers almost as much protection as a BMW Rallye 2 suit...the Revit suit is more comfortable and dry.Might prefer the Rallye 2 for full on offroad duties but the price...it should be dry ...the trase off with all the venting going on.

Not discontinued, just out of stock until BMW makes more for the US market. You can leave your email to be notified of when your size returns to inventory.

Ugly that's for sure. The only good thing about the jacket is the black color scheme. I wasn't even going to comment but then the model lifted his left arm and unveiled the transparent ID compartment and that was just it. The brand should definitely consider restaffing the entire garment design&development department. Not only the jacket looks monstrous, some of the expensive fabrics used here (like the Superfabric) have a truly sophisticated design and this "monsterpiece" does not do them justice.
