i am from california and unfortunately the only models legal here are the version 1.0 shields but they are still great guns!! i love my shield!! wish i could get the upgraded 2.0 like yours. it sure looks beautiful. congrats on your first gun and please, always be gun safe!!!
I just purchased the same pistol (minus the thumb safety) after owning the Shield Plus for concealed carry. I’m not aware of this pistol being offered in a 4.5 inch barrel though. I do know they offer a 5 inch barrel (in the Performance Center variation I believe).

@Fecho00 when i bought my shield years ago the 2.0 werent legal but my bad didn't realize they are legal now
