@@akirandrake414They explained later how healing magic doesn't work when there is dark magic (and the other way around, which is why the armor wasn't working), so Felm was actually tanking all the hits, which is way Usato immediately healed her as soon as they met again.
@mirko4421 I still think that at least some of the healing does get through, because she would be dead otherwise. You don't get a punch to the face from someone that can destroy rocks with his bare hands and only receive a moderate concussion as a result.
Even a powerful demon as her finds this Training to be horrifying, I swear I really love this series 😂😂😂

true the training is scary to witness but that is a low bar given that the black knight girl also demonstrates severe lack of any physical preparation an maybe training, she is completely dependent on her reflection magic to be of any use to an army and has not shown any other skills
She wasn't really powerful, it's just the armor that made her fearsome

@@Lazerlight1212 that isn't the point of this training. Rose has been against people with cursed weapons that made it so you couldn't heal the wound. That is how she lost an eye and her original squad. She wants him to be able to not have to take the hits.

You know I feel like Usato and Rose Arguing and violent training sessions are actually their way of getting along with each other. Considering even though they may yell at each other a bunch of times I can feel there is actually a lot of mutual respect.

Something I noticed on rewatch was that Rose wasn’t visible until after she punched him that first time. Meaning Usato has been dealing with Shonen speed punches this whole time. Pretty sick.

Usato even is a warm person he is, he get more of Rose's traits as the story progress to one point be more scarier than Rose herself without notice it, is a monster disguised as a puppy

I know right! With only a few scenes she even managed to beat out a little fox girl for that title too lol.
Felm easily became the best girl in this anime and one of the best in winter season overall. I wish she would be introduced earlier with face reveal, so we could enjoy her more.
Or maybe even season 2 in which she would have more screen time?

When I learned that Felm's VA is Maomao from the Apothecary Diaries, she became a 100 times more adorable!

Man this episode of "how i meet your mother" is crazy
This anime ended up being WAY better than I thought it would. I was geared up for another standard isekai, then the summoners actually care about those they have summoned and the king actually tries to protect him from Usato from Rose!! It ended up being very very good and I cant wait until season 2!!
It’s kind of funny to reintroduce a straight man to the situation just to remind us how batshit insane this regimen is.
Also I just think it’s cute how out of her depth she is at the mundanity of it.
I dunno, I just like Felm keeping this grounded for me.
And I still can't believe people were complaining about rose's back story. The best character in the show.

First of all that was a battlefield, people are going to be killing each other, in fact most of the time she didn’t even bother actively killing them, just letting the magic reflection do it for her which many were recovered by the Rescue Team.
Secondly she’s literally a prisoner forced to undergo indentured service. She’s serving a sentence, she’s only outside of a prison cell because it’s more productive.
