  • Komatsu D65P V-plough Bulldozer for trenches drainage working in Holland installing perforated pipe field drainage for irrigation and water drainage.
    Draineren is in de landbouw al jaren een begrip voor het afvoeren van overtollig water. Drainage betekent het beheersbaar maken van de waterhuishouding, wat in feite de grondwaterstand is. Een goed drainagesysteem zorgt er dan ook voor dat de grond het gehele jaar goed bewerkbaar blijft. Emonds heeft een nieuwe manier van drainage ontwikkeld, waarmee peilgestuurde drainage mogelijk is. Voordelen van dit gepatenteerd Emonds-systeem zijn:
    -Vormt geen obstakel in de sloot of op het land omdat het hele systeem in het talud van de sloot wordt verwerkt;
    -Omdat de hoogte traploos verstelbaar is kan men het waterpeil in het land nauwkeurig opstuwen;
    -Omdat de voorkant van het systeem open is, kost het nauwelijks moeite om de peilbuis in een andere stand te verplaatsen.
    -Ook kan iedereen dan zien wat voor waterpeil wordt aangehouden.
    Vooral voor bedrijven met duurzame gewassen is het heel belangrijk om het waterpeil te kunnen reguleren, omdat door slechte weersomstandigheden geen afvoermogelijkheden zijn vanwege het vollopen van de sloten. Daardoor wordt de waterstand in de sloten erg hoog. Er is daarom op de peilbuis een V-deel gemonteerd waarop men een bronneringspomp aan kan sluiten. Hierdoor is het mogelijk om ± 4 hectare in 24 uur droog te zuigen zodat de grond weer berijdbaar is voor machines.

    Drainage is useful in a field so flat and close to the water table. Drainage, storage and irrigation are the three most important improvements a farmer can make to his business. Good video, I like how much farmers around the world seem to face work with the same steadfastness.

    No big clumpy high pile to work down..... No trench to fill in, just get it done!!!

      I think in the "thumb" part of Michigan, it's required. Big fields and along the road are ditches that will easily swallow a bus (winter driving can be .. so .. fun). The drains empty into those trenches.

    I could see benefits in a low lying area but that extent of drainage would really hafta produce results. Even if it made unusable land usable or doubled your yield on a particular crop it would seem hard to justify the cost. Pipe like that im guessing is 3 or 4 dollars a foot before its even delivered. Im missing something im sure. Farmers dont waste money that ive ever seen. They are usually the smartest people around. I use more of what I learned farming than I have most other experience.

      Why so?
      He put a cap on the end of the pipe (because it was the end of the land), and then already fed in the other pipe so it was "in the machine" and ready for connecting to the main line on the other side of the field 3:53.

    • @zenddoor
      @zenddoor 5 лет назад +1

      @@gsrorive Ah, now I understand. I didn't see that.
      Yes, it's recycled polypropylene fibers that cover the pipe. They are (mostly) non toxic for the environment but they also decompose very slowly, so of course it's better to not throw it on the ground.. Probably out of habit, they feel like cotton and there is a lot of it around the drainage, so in his mind it maybe doesn't feel that bad. But yeah, better not.
