Growing up as a kid in a small farming town in the Missouri Bootheel, I remember seeing a 2 row corn header on a International Harvester. Oliver Tractors, plowing fields. John Deere "Popping Johns" and I will never forget seeing the 1st 2 row cotton picker. How farming has modernized has always fascinated me and that little cotton top boy still lives within me today at almost 60 years old I still stop and watch farm equipment today with fascination
The biggest marvel is someone your age posting a comment on RUclips! My dad is 80 and pretty impressed with how he can keep up as well.
@@claycountykillers 54 anni, oltre ai commenti pubblico anche i video, sono troppo vecchio per queste cose... 😁
It's amazing to see how farming technology has changed over the last 100 years.
Good keren👍
Thank you for watching.

I grew up on a family farm in the 70s and 80s. We ran about 800 acres or so, which was a good sized operation for our area back then. We would've never even dreamed of running enough ground to need equipment like this. I still live in the area where I grew up but, unfortunately, not on the same land. I don't farm myself but, I have several friends that do and I help them when they need it. It never ceases to amaze me how, even in my area, the size of farms and, the technology that is used on them has changed over the years. When I was coming up, our "big" tractor was a 7080 Allis Chalmers with 180 horsepower. These days, my buddies run rigs with 3x that power and they more or less drive themselves!

When I was in grade school in Wisconsin 1958, One day a year was called deer day, imagine that. We watched John Deere movies that day. Talk about bias, but that's the way it was back then.
When I was 14 I would have loved to have a poster of Farrah Fawcett ,
Now watching this 16 row harvester is definitely better lol
😁👍

we luck this kind of technology in east Africa
Creator of unemployment, that´s how we would call it in África. Modernization should came but not at the level where people can´t survive.
This is why Africa has a famine every year
We grown about 120 acres of Corn and harvest with a 1973 Gleaner K with a 338 3 row head. We just pray the government will stay out of our business! Great video by the way!

Folding corn heads are the way to go if ya want to travel from field to field faster....as much as I love equipment would love to see some of farms they belong to 2 combines 4 grain carts and 13 semis and that just for harvest the farm got to be huge
2 and 1/2 million in combines and headers, Gotta cover a lot of ground to pay for that!
Lots of ground is an under statement. But what also help is their field are in southwestern KY. They have contracts with the local distilleries in Tenn and KY. Plus the sell lots of corn to a ethanol plant there in KY. They are getting a pretty good price per bushels so I'm sure they trade in combines every 2 years I'd say.
@@josephharris1323yes and being from down there they can probably double crop soybeans behind their winter wheat

I really enjoyed you drone video and seeing 2 16 headers. Being in Calif I haven't seen any. The corn chopper is nothing like these machines.
I am a farmers daughter who enjoys seeing these videos. Would love one day like to drive one of these corn combines to understand more of how they operate. Thanks for the videos keep them coming

*Those combines are incredible. I began with a JD 6620, equipped with a six-row head, and back then, I thought it was quite sizable.*
I began with a New Idea 2 row mounted picker. It ran circles around a one-row pull type.
Thu hoạch hay quá, cảm ơn bạn nhiều nha.

Me encanta ver este tipo de aparato trabajar increíble Dios y hombre
Big machine to help human.......
Awesome! God bless the farmers.
Thank you for watching.
beautiful!!
I have 2 million acres in Tyler Texas we grow wheat and corn it’s a bad ass harvester
The speed and efficiency of these machines never cease to amaze me.
With billions of dollars in value each year, harvesting activities are an important part of the US economy.
I saw one of his videos either last year or two years ago from down in either Kentucky or Tennessee and the farmer had over 10,000 acres so he had just over 3,000 acres each of corn soybeans and wheat he had I believe it was six million bushels storage on site and when he sold his grain 12 miles was the farthest he had too truck it and he had five of these combines in one field with five 9620’s each with a two thousand bushel plus grain cart and eight semis and seven drivers they were short one driver and besides all that he had five more 9620’s with air seeders planting soybeans right behind them I can’t imagine what it costs him just too fuel that crew up each morning
I would hazard to guess that farming on that scale could get out of hand real fast. Keeping up with the logistics would require many people that are not actually working in the field..
Nices. Combine. Good 👍 for good places flat groun
It is effective harvest team. It works well in rolling ground too.
Good job
Thank you for watching.
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy ur videos without a doubt u put the very best and most detailed videos of all the farming videos on youtube keep them coming good sir, look forward to many more great work and great detail about the machines very knowledgeable person I'll have to say thanks my friend !!!!!!
Me at my small farm 🤔🤔🤔,all by hands from planting, husking, and shelling.
That is good work. Many farms were hand picking corn as late as the 1930’s. Machine picking ears of corn sped up the process. Combining corn did not gain strong popularity until the 1960’s when grain drying technology improved.
It's great that you own a small farm, I want the same
II helped a sharecropper pull corn in the field in the early nineteen fifties.. A long time before poor farmer's had modern day equipment. A hundred or two hundred acre farm was almost unheard of in my area at the time. Most small farms had a small milking operation as a subsistence income. That was putting out milk in milk cans in the morning for the milkman to pick up...
Wow, I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.
That's one heck of a operation they have going on and they really cover ground in no time!
Big tractor 😍 good job👍 Terima kasih sudah berbagi video yang bagus teman 🙏
Thank you for watching. 😁👍👍
I do believe the weight limit on that bridge is being surpassed multiple times as I'm certain that giant combine along with each of those tractors weigh in excess of 16 tons.
Looking at these machines at work shows that technology is developing strongly
That last shot has a little cab corn😅😅
If you don’t have cab corn your not doing right 😁
Cool mahin, col,col,col👍👌
Must have some serious acres, there's about 5 million dollars in total equipment working that field. Amazing to think about.
*LOVE YOUR VIDEO*
X9 with duals is highly underrated
Most of the ones I have had an opportunity to film have had duals. I hope film one with tracks in the next week.
Bonito de se ver o trabalho das pessoas com às máquinas
New farming sim looks so realistic, idk if my pc gotta handle this
😁👍
That thing is sure nice, both the header and the machine. It can sure eat the crop.
It is amazing how many acres an X9 will cover vs an S700.
I thought folding headers were only a Farming Simulator thing.
Felicidades
Great video! Thanks for including the specs, prices, capacities and all the requirements to keep the grain away!
Thank you for watching. There is allot that goes into harvesting a crop.
Wow luar biasa mesin tercanggih di indonesia sepertinya belum ada
There are also vast cornfields?
We grew up running a john deer b , with a one row new idea corn picker...
We had a couple of leavers to push and pull
I sure hope they have people in these farm regions who are allowed to go behind these harvesting operations and pick up the spills and the wasted corn that is left on the ground, like those many ears of corn that were driven over to begin this particular harvest?

Thank you for watching. It always an honor to have viewers from around the world. It amazes me the items viewers spot in the video. I think you have the record for the closest look with the radio.
Those combines are amazing. I started on a JD 6620 with a six row head and thought it was pretty big.
6620
a very sophisticated large tractor, speeding up the harvest process with a very large area of land 🚜👍
very extraordinary very sophisticated agricultural tools
Thank you for watching.
Interesting to see the time lag between the time he starts cutting and the time the grain starts showing up in the hopper.
those john deer quad tracks tractors are beautiful omg...
Thank you for watching. The farm in this video has six 9620RX tractors.

The video is truly meaningful. Thank you for creating it
We use a gleaner L3 to open up corn fields and a 1440 ih for beans. Then bring in a case 2188 and/or 2388. Waiting to update till a better machinery storage building is up. Plus it’s a nice bit of sentimental feelings to get seat time in the classics I grew up in
Nice💪
Thank you for watching.
These x9 combines are amazing machines I came across an x9 1000 with a 12 row folding head and it was such an impressive machine to watch
The X9 really has stepped up the harvesting ability of John Deere.
Чудо техника!
Those combines harvest so quickly! My poor 4400 wouldn’t be able to do a quarter of what the X9 does
Has nobody done the math? 16 ton weight limit bridge, X9 is 59,000 pounds
Just finished our second season with a C12F corn head. It’s a great head, and has some really nice improvements over the 712FC it replaced. Little bit better vision folded and the end shields don’t need put back down to fold the head. On the 712 I had to get out, clean debris out from where the shields slide in and out, and then get back in and fold. And get out again to put them back up. The integrated roll cones are nice too. I believe it folds faster too.
Great to hear the differences in the heads and the upgrades. Thank you for sharing.

@@bigtractorpower nothing runs like a deere on that combine 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
These JD X9 1100's are becoming more popular. I can imagine the time savings having a 16 row corn head fold up as well. Very expensive equipment but to be productive today farmers need this type and size of equipment. Drone footage was spot on as well. Thanks Jason for your time and efforts 👌🏻.
I was going to say the same thing the x9 are a lot faster harvesting then the other combines and the folding head speeds up the whole operation 14000 bushels an hour that’s why then need 4 grain carts and 13 semis
@@chuckrobinson6244speed wise, i don't think any other brand can match
