A45 (the old one) and Porsche 718 (not good for a Porsche, but really good for a 4 cylinder) are imho the best sounding 4 cylinder cars of our time (2015+). John Cooper Works is also very nice.

I drove an 04 STi for ten years, now I tow bikes a lot so I have a Trackhawk, which is like driving 2 STi stacked on top of each other when you turn lol.
These UEL header sounds are still glorious, and for those kind of roads and conditions, STi is perfect. Can’t wait to hear you wring it out in 6th gear!
Nothing sounds better than equal length headers on a Subaru boxer engine to me. I can somewhat understand the interest in unequal length but the difference is amazing with the right exhaust.
MrCarGuy The unequal is iconic in North America, it’s the rumble. I had a bigger turbo and EL headers in the garage, but never ended up finishing that project. The EL power up top is worth the loss of rumble, a properly tuned EL car sounds pretty wicked!

I may be an Australian resident, but a speed detecting radar/lidar van has the same smell world wide... @ 2.43/2.44, opposite side of road. Check out the small official posting on rear side panel, need to be sharp.
