Wow I can’t believe you painted over that beautiful stone.
It was cheap tile.
Very nice!!
If you use the fireplace will the paint flake off
Do you use the fireplace? How has it held up to heat if so?
I thought there would be a part where you talk about how well it held up. Is that in another video?
I wondered about this, too, but I think since he said he painted it in Sept. and then the "after" showed Christmas stockings, etc. ("a few months later" as promised), I think we are to deduce from the image that it held up. However, we don't know about the use of the fireplace at all. Hope this helps.
Still waiting for an answer to, will it hold up to the heat of the fireplace?
Can you use a different finish other than Matte? if so, what would you suggest?
Ugh that just totally cheapened the look. That original tile was pretty!
Can I do this with a marble fireplace? It’s not tile but solid marble.
Im glad you mentioned about the kids toys going on it. I had same problem only I didn't prep previously. All paint chipped off. This time I will clean, sand and prime. Thanks for video
Mine has grout, any suggestions?
Thank you. I did it abs it turned out nice
Hi! I’m using Behr brand Dynasty primer and paint all in one for my project. Do I still need a special bonding primer?
Can i use this same procedure/products on my travertine fireplace tile?
Is there a way to fill in the grout to have a smooth , level surface? If so, what do you use? can the product be sanded?
Is it heat resistant paint?
Did you seal it?
