Gluing skirting boards

  • I only use those 2 types of glue and try not to use any nails, simply because theres no holes and filling and sanding and all this problem with having another stage of work before painting. With glue all is ready to paint - almost. Caulk on top may be filling on joints and corners but very litttle.

    spray is an activator, little story,,, a car rubber manufacturer called silent channel 40 years ago, when they joined the door rubbers together they glued one side and sprayed the other side, as a builder/engineer at the time I was fitting out loads of kitchens, nobody could understand why my miters cornice and pelmet were beautiful, back then most people was using PVA not super glue apart from me, plus super glue and the activator came in big 750 ml cans, no word of a lie I've actually cut a roof in and glued it with this method, (in the tack position before final fixings)
