Just wanted to say in regards to the eyeliner, I love this eyeliner and is very simple to use for me, I suffer from arthritis in my dominant hand and eyeliner was impossible for me before I tried this one. The fact that the pencil is thicker helps to stabilize my hand and it doesn't hurt my swollen fingers.My hands tremble a lot because I lost some agility and my tendons are shorting because of the arthritis so you can imagine trying eyeliner is a hell of an ordeal, my sister used to do it for me because it was impossible. I don't know what to say, Selena is hitting every mark for people who are not represented in the make up industry. Nobody cares that some of us can't do with "normal" stuff and the fact that Selena represents us, it makes me so happy. Thank you for testing her products she deserves the recognition at every level !

@Nic DeGrave Ditto. I have arthritis, neuropathy from diabetes and chemo. So frustrating because I used to be able to do my makeup 💄 so well and quickly. I'm 70 and now I just can't get my eyes, which I consider my best feature, to look like I want. I'm definitely going to switch to a liquid eyeshadow. At 70 I still have excellent skin. I'm fair and stayed out of the sun since about 30.

I know you said you don't review mascaras because you have next to no lashes but this is why you should!! It's not like you have full lashes where you can't tell the difference you show off the product to the best of their potential. ❤

How do u know if foundation is oil based?
@@auntiehollyd6395 reading the ingredient’s list. One of the first 10 ingredients will either be oil or water 💕

I have found the best parts of your videos are the little random comments/advice. Like reminding us to skip the beauty blender when using an oil based foundation. Makes complete sense but I would not have thought of it!

Selena is amazing and honestly she is very much involved in everything that she does. She's a very genuine person and wouldn't just put her name on any brand. I absolutely love her. I was lucky enough to meet her and I'm very good at reading people and her energy and aura was beautiful. I got such a good positive vibe from her that even if she wasn't a celebrity and I just bumped into her at like a grocery store I would still get a good vibe from her.

I wish I had started watching you sooner. So many great tips. Who the hell knew to not use a wet sponge with a oil based foundation. I think that little nugget of information will end of saving some foundations I was thinking of getting out of my collection.
give that eyeliner another try…deending on how they were stored in the warehouse some of the liner were super runny and leaky when pol opened them and others were to dry and skipping just flip it upside down when you store it for a few days so the brush get saturated then give it a good shake and it glides on like a dream

I’m glad to hear that you like the compact cream blushes by Rare beauty. Very few influencer’s have been a fan of those blushes. I think MUA’s understand how to apply and what tools to use to making sure they are well loved products too! I enjoyed the video makes me want to purchase one of those blushes.
I'm pushing 70 and love your makeup tips and tricks! I've loved makeup since I was allowed to wear makeup. Though I don't do any of your wonderful dramatic eyes, I do like your tips on daytime looks, and one day soon, I may even try a bronzer! I will add that when I 'fess up to my real age, people are usually shocked. I might add, though, that skin care comes first and foremost! If you don't have a good base, nothing you put on will help much. Even if you're oily...use a moisturizer for an oily complexion. You won't be sorry when you're older. Never ever go to sleep with makeup on (except for those 'special occasions', but make sure you won't look like a raccoon in the morning!). Love your posts!!
I have a nice lil collection of Rare makeup myself, but i have the illuminating primer and now i NEED the pore diffusing one! I use the mascara quite often when i want a day time more feathery lash look and it's so good. Also love the tinted moisturizer, cream blush in nearly neutral and all the liquid blushes. And now i need the cream in rosy also lol.

Thanks for the makeup lesson. I’ve never been a big makeup wearer. But, as I get older I see that I need to help Mother Nature a little. 😉 I definitely have to pencil in a few features (eye brows went bye-bye) and I need to learn how to put on eye lashes. Those disappeared as I got older. Any good tutorials on eye lash and eye liner application would be awesome. Keep up the great tutorials and TikTok videos, I can use the laughs.

Love your videos. I don't use fountain anymore just use concealer . It's really hard to find a foundation in my skin tone. Pasty celtic skin isn't very easy to find 🤣 so concealer is the closest match I have found. Any recommendations for doing contouring on pale skin and what shades to use?

Marvelous video! I loved how you explained the process and how/why things worked. I never thought about changing a daytime look into a nighttime look so this was very intriguing to me. Unfortunately I couldn't focus as well as I would like because my cats decided to be kung fu fighting on top of my new clothes. Thank you for mentioning about a damp beauty blender not working with certain products because water doesn't work with them. Because I use concealer in my t-zone since I'm oily there and Bare Minerals powder foundation everywhere else. But when I'm blending out the concealer before the powder foundation, I would see it break down with the beauty blender, and not understand why. I never found a brush I like for concealer yet, so I guess I'll use my fingers lol.
That would be a very appreciated video - in talking about what items are best to apply certain products. I know RUclipsrs have done videos like that before. But in someone like yourself that tries lots of products and has worked in the beauty field, you can share your expertise in what is best to apply certain products or how to apply them to be their best.
Love the eyes, not the lip tho. Its coming off a little on the orange side. I really appreciated the detail on how you applied and im def going to try that eye look!

I’m 48 and back in 2018/19 everyone was just doing a little wing with their eyeliner. Sometimes I’d screw it up so I’d do a much thicker wing as well as liner. I’ve been noticing everyone’s now doing the thicker ones too!!
I’ve loved makeup since the seventh grade full time but I showed horses growing up so I got to wear eyeshadow, mascara, blush, & lipstick whenever I showed back to the age of eight!! This was the early 80’s when makeup was still pretty rough!! Bright pink cheeks, red lips, & lots of blue eyeshadow!! Don’t forget the massive Aqua Net to keep my hair up in a bun!! Nothing like the 80’s!! It was a rough decade for hair & beauty!!

The Rare Beauty concealer in 120C is the ONLY foundation I've ever tried that didn't make me break out with acne! It blends beautifully and matches my skin tone to an almost scary degree, which is AMAZING.

I have sensitive eyes prone to dryness, stys and increasingly bad vision. The Rare Beauty Mascara Formula is perfect IMO. It has zero irritants in it. I must wash my eyes after 4-6 hrs when I have on drugstore brand mascara but I can go 12-14 hrs with Rare Beauty Mascara with no irritation. The formula is legitimately different.

Hey Johnny, so I just tried the rare beauty foundation and I just want to say that I think it’s now my favorite foundation! It really feels like I have nothing on. I also have dry skin and it didn’t dry me out or feel heavy. I really couldn’t believe how amazing it feels. Honestly this was the second product I got because you recommended it and I love both so I should have know it would be amazing. Thank you sooooo much for your product review videos! I have tried a few foundations and I didn’t like any until now. You’re amazing! 💜💜💜
