I argue Niko is the best GTA character so far.

@Pumpactionmusket as far as I'm aware he asked for royalties after the game had sold

So true!💯
Except the performance... Even brand-new hardware couldn't run this at 1080p 60fps properly back in 2008.
Naw, the story is great but the gameplay is bit boring compared to GTA 5 and San Andreas. At least in my opinion.

They update the game, it's called complete edition if you're interested to try it out again. Now it's ran great even on lower-mid range laptop/PC. Although some songs and radios got deleted.
Out of any GTA that I've played, out of all the openings and themes the one in GTA IV stuck with me the most, it just flows so well and when the theme reaches its peak I always get goosebumps
As much as I love GTA 5 I kinda hope 6 goes for a mix of 4/5 and combines the best elements of both games while giving us something new

When I was in high school my class and a teacher came up with “Video Virus” as the name of the sickness I would always seem to have the day after certain major games came out.

I love GTA IV. Playing that game back in 2008 was incredible. We went from no ragdolll physics to some of the greatest ever put in an open world game. An incredible story and characters, perfect soundtrack and two quality expansion packs.
I used to aim at the ground with an RPG and blow myself up just see how my body would land cause the physics were so hilarious 😂😂
I have spent hours launching my car off of things to watch it flip and tumble. Same with just driving around, vehicles had a great sense of weight to them, even with a lot of practice, driving at high speed always felt like you were one tiny mistake away from disaster.
I remember around the time it was getting released, there was no official/leaked gameplay footage on youtube just rickroll'd videos. The first time I experienced any gameplay was when the game was in my hands. Haven't had such an experience like that since.
@@Allaboutdatps3 Well games have become a lot different since then. Post initial sale monetization has become a key focus along with graphics. Graphics have always been a big focus of games of course, but in the past they were far more limited by hardware, now the limit is mostly just time. Other then BeamNG Drive and Wreckfest, I haven't seen a physics and damage model as impressive as GTA IV either.
@@scottthewaterwarriorthey're limited by greed
Niko is one of my favorite GTA protagonists because of how real he is. He's not overthetop like everyone else around him. He needs money and sticks to family no matter what, he's loyal and compassionate. He's a good friend to have in a place like LC.
I think the best part of GTA IV is that nearly every character has a story. Faustin and Dimitri, the McReary Family, Playboy and Dwayne, they all have stories, even the DLC expands upon characters like Brucie, Ray Bulgarin and The Lost MC, aside from the Grove Street Families, GTA San Andreas didn't have many expanded backgrounds for their characters.
Compare this to V too. Wade, Ron, Lamar, a lot of the background characters don't get a lot of love.
@@ultrabigfella I think San Andreas could show more interactions with Big Smoke and Tenpenny after the Green Sabre. It will be intresting to see how Tenpenny treats Big Smoke.
San Andreas was the Fast and Furious of the GTA series. It was never a story to be taken seriously, at least not like GTAIV and RDR1. GTAV’s sub story with Franklin and Lamar’s hood politics was much more realistic and down to earth despite the rest of the story being mediocre.
They did Bulgarin dirty though
San andreas had more variety in its story missions though. Gta 4 story missions got repetitive.
"There's a whole story here offering the players to reflect on the harm they've done, and depending on which ending you choose you will have to deal with the consequences of your actions and it's presented in such a way we don't feel like we're being sat down in kindergarten like TLOU 2 and even feel respected by Rockstar Throughout" Could not have said it any better myself.
This was my fav W of the video.
Another depressing but interesting detail about the Deal ending is that when Roman died, his face is not seen again, effectively making him another unknown indirect victim of Niko's crime!
One of the greatest games ever made. This game was what made me want to switch generations and finally leave my ps2 behind, I remember to this day how I was in awe with the physics when I first saw it! And it is crazier to think most of this game's aspects still hold up in 2023, 15 years later...

Out of curiosity - would you be more interested in Revenge ending if Kate was more prominent in main story? Lot of her dialogues and relationship with Niko come from optional dates, which many players probably didn't bother with (me included). It's probably safe to say that most players choose Revenge for promise of killing Dimitri rather than Kate nagging to Niko.
I chose revenge because it made sense for nikos story. Niko was metaphorically standing on a mountain of bodies to get to the guy and now that he has him, he chooses not to do it? It's alittle late in the game to make that decision. Where's his hesitation to kill before this? I'm not getting into is revenge morally justifiable or not. I'm just saying nikos actions, as us the player doesn't match up with him showing his enemy mercy. So I chose revenge
@@stephenolder4552 TLDR: Deal is superior in any regard to Revenge, from technical, through narrative, all the way to sense of completion after you finish game standpoint.
It did not make sense to go to Platypus. At this point Niko would've learned betrayal is common thing in crime world, and at end of a day it's money that counts. For most of the game he's talking about making money, for most people he's working for money, only 2 of them promise him help in finding traitor.
He's not making any effort to get revenge on Dimitri, he doesn't even think about him, as Darko is his priority target. He'd find a peace in facing a man that he blames for how his life turned ot to be. Facing Darko is it for him, he can finally put his struggles to sleep. He wouldn't turn down an opportunity to make really big money to end it all. He had to realize why Dimitri would do it, and be able to forget about it if it meant he'd be able to finally get his hands on big money for Roman and Mallorie to live happily ever after. At end of a day Dimitri didn't even cost him anything of value prior to moment where you choose ending.
It's quite clear originally Rockstar wanted you to choose deal ending, as it carries way more emotions than revenge. They only changed it to cannon ending once they realized that with power of foreshadowing and inability to sustain that much emotional impact people were choosing it way more often than deal. They couldn't ever expect you to care about Katie enough and avenging her to be same weight as loosing Roman and avenging him. Killing Dimitri under statue feels way more like ending of a story than killing Pegorino.
I'm almost positive that adding option to choose ending was made later in developement, and originaly they planned deal to be linear ending. They putted way more work in "If price is right" and afermath of that mission compared to "Dish served cold", mission is way longer, has more scripts, more dialogue, unused for anything else place (Platypus is used right at start, they didn't make it exclusively for a mission as they had to make that interior for opening cutscene) etc. In "Dish served cold" Dimitri basically has quite generic dialogue prior to dying for this game standard, and mission is pretty simple and generic don't giving you a sense that's the final.
After finishing deal game tricks you into thinking worst is behind you, presumably no one is mad at you and you got a happy ending, no loose ends, Niko says he's out of business, and then game hits that last blow you wouldn't expect. After finishing revenge game instantly let's you know there's one more loose end which is Pegorino and you can tell it's not over yet. While you could trick yourself into believing Niko and Dimitri would go their own way, Pegorino instantly tells you he's going to send his man after you.
@@southweststrangla9591 okay, well sparing him out of a sense of mercy or compassion didn't make much sense for Niko
@@stephenolder4552 He didn't spare him out, he never cared too much for killing him in first place, after some time he didn't care at all. There was no sense of mercy or compassion, just business.

I've been wanting to see a "Bonny and Clyde" style thing since the character switching mechanic was first introduced in the trailer for GTA V! But there focus on online and other decisions have very much tempered my expectations. I also am one of the people who _really_ liked the vehicle physics in GTA IV, though admittedly they may have gone a little too far for the general gaming audience, but GTA V went so far the other direction it put me to sleep!
@@funnyword8084 For the game be good there is 2 possibilites, or the online be extremely great or they finally do a good history again like RD2 or GTA4. Mypar fear is mostly wokeness at rockstar part...
The thing I loved about this is how you had the optional mate dates you could go on and the characters opened up.
From Packie talking about his sexual abuse, to Dwayne’s struggles to adapt to life outside of prison.
These are extra pieces of story that you wouldn’t normally get.
Plus, you actually felt you’re making a change to their lives by taking them out for food or drinks or games.
Packie became my best friend in the game.
It’s so sad Rockstar didn’t carry that mechanic into their other games.
such an underrated fucking channel, perfectly putting their spin and opinion on the game yet being able to concisely tell the story within their review. this is why we follow you.
I spent a summer in high school playing this game pretty much all day every day for several weeks. Which speaks a lot to just how much there is to do in it, but also with how compelling it is that I still felt immersed and invested in the story. I went on a lot of dates with Michelle, so I felt really blindsided and betrayed when she turned me in. I agonized over some of the choices that you're given, especially when it became very clear that they would have real consequences. I got really close with Kate and felt guilty for disappointing her. I chose not to do the deal largely because it was what Kate wanted and was devastated when I learned what the consequences were.
The thing that GTA IV does really well is characters, from Nico to Roman to Kate to Lil Jacob. It also handles choices very well, where there are many moments where you really feel trapped and don't like either option presented to you, and then makes you live with the consequences as they play out for the rest of the game. GTA V did a lot with streamlined gameplay mechanics, set pieces, and comedic tone, but couldn't come close to IV in terms of human drama.
That opening theme. It was just perfect.
The fact that every game gets a remake including og trilogy at the same time this game was turning 10 and still no remake is just a slap in the face to us real fans

GTA 4 is such a timeless game. And that's why I love it so much from it's story to it's characters down to the gameplay there's so much to enjoy in this game that makes it all the more worth playing even in 2023. This game is absolutely timeless. No matter how many years old this game gets it will always be my favorite GTA Game of all time. And I will gladly celebrate the game's 15th anniversary this year by making a tribute to this wonderful masterpiece of a game! 💛💛🔥🔥🔥
What you're saying is interesting but I'm sat here watching the same clips over and over again..... Not actually enjoyable
I just wanted to say that it genuinely surprises me how similarly we see these games. I found your channel through games like god of war, but to click on a video of a game I've actually played and hear someone recount it the way I would truly goes on to say just what an amazing experience GTA 4 was. But you've also got that attention to detail that I never would have without you having described it first and I think it's what keeps me coming back.
Nah Revenge ending> Deal ending. No way in hell would Niko do that lol killing Dimitri on the Boat is the way to go and the most satisfying and having Roman alive at the end is much better. Plus when you fight Dimitri in the other ending you don't even properly execute him and finish him off which always bugged me
I'd probably consider GTA 4 as one of my favorite GTA games in the series. Graphics and open world elements may be outdated, but it brings back nostalgia. Too bad the PC optimization issues are still somewhat present even after all those years.
When either a movie, game, tv series, etc (whatever medium that a story is presented) is so good, I wish to be part and imagine myself in that story's setting/universe. GTA 4 is one of them.

It’s so crazy thinking about the jump in visuals looking back. Going from San Andreas which was a powerhouse on the PS2 and Xbox to GTA 4 which is the first rockstar game of the 7th generation and how the jump in graphics is so jarring
Yahtzee croshaw, a legend in the game reviewing world since 2007, called niko his favourite main character out of all the hundreds of games he’s reviewed. Man I remember playing this back in... 2015 or so, and MAN was it an experience.
When Roman got killed at the end, I was shocked and saddened... and I immediately went to a previous save before I had to make "The Choice" and was hit with the "You can't have a good ending either way, you either have Roman or Kate die." And that hurt me. I stuck with the "Kate dies" ending, because I couldn't bear that cross of having Roman killed.
Look, I know you said you weren't going to do videos on DLC, but seriously!
You have to give GTA The Lost and the Damned.
And
The Ballad of Gay Tony a chance.
They are amazing, DLC!
A 2008 game and it still get talked about even in 2023. 15 years ago i bought this game and i was baffled by everything. Played it on PS3 and even if the framerate was terrible not hitting constant 30fps i liked every aspect of it. I don't have any complaints.
I remember old YT videos of GTA IV back in 2009-2010. Stunts, machinimas, memes, all kind of stuff back then. I swore I was gonna wait to play it one day... and that day came at late 2016. What a incredible game, story, everything. GTA 3 was cool, Vice City (and Stories) was incredible, San Andreas was amazing but weird, GTA V wasn't that bad, and GTA IV... Definitely the best GTA so far
FINALLY, someone who gets it!!
I also believe that the Deal ending is canon in GTA 4, because it just makes so much sense with what Niko has been through along with having Dimitri as the final boss like he was meant to be from the start.
I know Roman lives in Revenge, but Pegorino being the final boss? That just didn’t feel right at all, it felt shoehorned in.
Same here. For the entire game, revenge is always the wrong path. Many times are you given a choice to kill or spare someone which finally culminates with Darko, Niko's phantom of the past that he's been chasing ever since. To take the deal and "cut yourself loose" was the pacifist option that Roman agreed with. Leave everything behind. Everyone was supposed to walk away more or less happy with a fresh start. So Rockstar hits you right where it hurts while you're unprepared.
That doesn't mean it's canon. It might make more sense but that's not how you justify canon. Revenge is clearly the intended route since Roman has a Lifeinvader page in V alongside Niko, and he wouldn't be able to have one if he died before the platform was made, which is a year after GTA IV takes place.
@@TheCynicalAutist Revenge is not canon until I am SEEING Roman on screen alive and breathing in 2023.

The aesthetic of this game is amazing I wish they’d make another gritty game like this but no too extreme like it was In tlad
GTA 4 sits head and shoulders above GTA 5 for me, primarily for it's story and characters. the characters in 5 never felt particularly sympathetic or relatable. It's difficult to jive with Michael when he's living so comfortably, it's difficult to jive with Trevor because... well he's a completely irrational psychopath, Franklin is the closest we get as a guy who actually wants to move up in the world. and even then I don't even think he was done as well as CJ, let-alone Niko Bellic.
sidecharacters i'd say GTA 4 wins again, maybe even more resoundingly, I remember so much of Roman, of Patrick McReary, his brothers and Kate, Michelle, Mallorie, Little Jacob, Brucie, Florian, Faustin and Dimitri, Playboy X and Dwayne, the Pegorinos and Gravelli, Mikhaul Faustin's WIFE leaves a stronger impression than most of GTA5's cast. after a while the businessmen/feds started to just blur together into a soup.
Also didn't help that GTA 5 just got overshadowed badly by its contemporaries. when you think of games from 2008 for stories that stand the test of time, GTA4 still resonates as one of, if not the most memorable.
GTA5 meanwhile feels like it came from an entirely different era to its competitors in 2013, Last of Us completely annihiliated it in that regard.

The Beer is called "Pisswasser" which is german and means something like "peewater". Somehow there are many german references included.
There is GTA 4 and there is GTA 5. If you want something realistic, dirty and atmospheric you go for 4.
If you like show and shine without many details and an arcade feeling, 5 is your choice.
I don't know but GTA 4 still feels a lot more "mature"
Another good detail is that there are different dialogues when you fail a misison and replay it.
My first GTA that I actually played was this and tell you the truth it actually depressed me for a time because of the colour scheme and whole story for over two months after finishing it, till now whenever I look at any video of it, I still get the same feeling.
A part that was overlooked is when you first get to meet Filorian, and you insist that he killed your unit, he breaks his gay character voice and shouts in his old, manly voice that he didn't do it, making Niko speechless and believing him, I guess.
I really like that you pointed that out. We got to see the "real" him
I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't include the "I wouldn't do that" Bernie shouts when Niko confronts him. You can really hear the Florian overpowering Bernie in that one line.
GTA 4 will always be my favorite gta game
to be honest if i could change one thing about GTA 4, its that Rockstar should have hired an actual Serbian voice actor for Niko Belic... for you guys it might sound fine when he speaks in Serbian but im a native speaker of the Serbian language and it really sounds weird, i even have to look at the subtitles to understand what he's saying half of the time... i get that its not that bad because 99,9% of players dont understand him anyways, but it wouldnt be that difficult for Rockstar, a huge company, to hire a Serbian guy to voice act...

GTA IV is a time relic where a majority of the entire game was about committing Grand Theft Auto and crimes instead of selling cargo and using lasers and flying bikes against random people
When I was a kid I didn't really like because it was so dark and didn't had wilderness (I live in a rural area, and i loved the countrysidein San Andreas). But then when I finished it I loved it, Niko's story to this day makes me so sad and I find it one of the most tragic characters in any media.
I miss GTA4 online - it was more a bit more intense with the shootouts on disallow(free aim). no oppressors, or sci-fi weapons, so trolls/ griefers had no real chance back then unless they had a hori pad, some kind of turbo, griefers back then really had to actually work for their kills to an extent. I remember having to cornershoot in gta 4 from time to time playing against someone with a hori pad (these would be some long nights with the crew). Though it was less PVE ( no online missions, heist, autoclub, dax, night club etc) in gta4 and we barely had anything to do on free mode, we made it work!!, I spent days in the deathmatches and modified deathmatches, we would play to $10k on Algonquin with no blips 16 players deep!!!! doing RP or really testing our aim on colony island ( iYKYK) . those lobbies were intense either one I promise. We would play modified free modes as well since back then you had the option to create your own public lobby and customize it to your liking. we use to take those cops off!!!!!!!!!!!!. I can't forget the races in gta4 with the sultan rs's!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or supercars, TBOGT races were epic too!!!! I miss everything about it tbh. It would've been perfect if we could've bought property online( office, night club, etc) cars, guns like 5. Even if they added missions to the online other than hangman noose! it definitely would've been perfect in my opinion. I just have so many memories on gta 4 online on top of an amazing story put together. truust me you werent doing nothing on gta 4 other than killing cops if you weren't online!!!!!! that's were the mayhem was for sure. towards the end of the gta4 online (console era) Modders started to pop up and they spiced the game up for a bit if you ran across a decent modder who wasn"t a griefer, Modders at the time had the God Menu on the console. so they can do w.e, I remember getting shot with a school bus, getting tossed from Algonquin to Dukes and from Bohan to Broker, can't make this shit up. any car I wanted they'll spawn it etc.
overall it was a fun time and we had waaaaaaaaaaaay less than what 5 has to offer now. Don't get me wrong I do appreciate that they update 5, but no matter how much they update it or add to it they can't replicate my experience that I had on GTA4. Minus what I have mentioned before, what I feel really ruined GTA5 ONLINE was for starters the Facility!!!!, even though you were able to run the bogdan heist from there, people also abused the orbital cannon feature from that place having you trapped in a death loop, that place is a blessing and a curse for the game, so maybe if they just removed the orbital cannon feature it'll be ok lol. The glitches and bugs of the game are what really did it for me though. there are some cool glitches on the game that add spice to it for console gamers, like modded sports cars but thats about it, other glitches are just unbearable. you may run across a player in God Mode that wants all the smoke from you for the night and there's no counter for their assault if your not GTA savvy. I feel like because of this the essence of the 3rd person shooter aspect of it was taken away. Not to forget to mention no one gives a fuck enough if you know how to shoot or not in GTA 5 since the focus of it all now is geared towards doing missions with friends and getting money. I am interested to see what GTA 6 has to offer and how that plays out. Hopefully they take away the sci-fi bullshit and we can get back to regular artillery
thank you for reading my rant real quick🙏
PSN: HGE_BLAZE-- add me if ya want to run heist or w.e we'll get it done properly 🦾
The strong character, deep story, attention to detail, the physics and atmosphere of the city is enough to make you forget about everything that was missing here from SA. GTA IV is the GOAT
The canon ending isn’t the one where Roman dies lol
Hell yes bro, I’ve been waiting for this ever since your GTA V video
I’m convinced gaming wins always picks the wrong endings, RDR2 and now this.
I love the crazy shots of things that just go completely unmentioned. Like the police car falling below the world, the spinning car a hundred feet in the air at the end of the video. Gets a chuckle out of me every time.
My favorite Gta. I hope The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony get a video too
this game is an absolute masterpiece
YES! I’ve been waiting foe you to tackle GTA 4! While 5 is my favorite 4 and SA are right behind. 4>SA tbh my personal opinion. Both games deserve a remaster tho. If it happens that would be SICK!
i wish i was born in the time this game was made so then i could have played it it was new
Same
But it’s still my favorite even though it wasn’t new when I played it
GamingWins, what kind of cheats are you using? Not that I'm judging you for it.
33:37 Love how GTA 5s story subtly references the "and my wife better stop sleeping with the tennis coach" from 4
I was looking for this
16:02 I fuckin love you for dropping Uberhaxornovas name when you hear the gay Tony music. 😂😂😂good ol times
I truly did enjoy this game more than 5. It's underrated AF
Gta 5 is garbage compared to 4…. Story wise: gta 5’s story was just “ typical “ ….no where near as deep as 4’s dark story line
GTA IV aka "Let's go bowling" simulator
IT HAPPENED ONCE! BUDALA!
Let it go niko! It was a joke!
ok
This video is a perfect summary of the iceberg that is GTA 4, and I love how the narration blends viewpoints of it being just a game and form of entertainment - and it not being just a game (life lessons, social commentaries etc etc) at the same time. Very well done, sir!
It's been ages since I've played GTA IV, so im gonna add on some of my own wins based off of what you did here cause this game has so many good bits and details:
13:43 Vlad refers to Mallorie as "Puerto Rican chocha" which 1. Shows off how little he thinks of her, but its also a nice nod since chocha is puerto rican slang for p*ssy
17:57 AYOOO??? Bill Burr is in this game?? Hahaha
20:38 This line actually does foreshadow how, after killing Faustin, Niko and Roman will never be able to escape Dimitri. He burns down their business and home in the first island, Hove Beach, and then kidnaps Roman in the 2nd island and forces them to flee to Algonquin. Dimitri's lust for tying this loose end is cemented by Faustin's line at 21:43
24:45 Building off of the idea that Manny has no clue how the streets really work, he doesn't realize that exposing the criminal element AND plastering his face about it will put a target on his back as we see when he tries to confront Elizabeta
44:47 To add to Dwayne's line "Ain't people quick to forget", if you kill Playboy, Dwayne will remain loyal to you and even give you bodyguards to keep you safe. If you kill Dwayne, Playboy will blame you and cut all ties with you.
Nice quotes thanks for sharing
15 years and that intro still gives me goosebumps like first time seeing. Incredible. 2:15
theft
It would be cool if you played the Mafia games they have great stories.
The choppers feel so much more fun to fly than in GTA5.
The driving too IMO.
Weighty. Like IRL. Propelling a ton of Metals forward at 100 kp/h.
My first GTA was Vice City, but this one is by far my favorite in the series
GTA IV really had a very serious story with some comedy and comic relief just to calm things down.
Niko Bellic had to be the most realistic GTA protagonist ever, he's done bad things because he's seen some bad things, he's been in a war, he's fought in the war, seen bad things which broke him, changed him.
So he's decided to move to Liberty City, to his cousin who's supposedly having a much better life only to realize, it's not any different, Roman was in trouble and as Niko tried helping, he also got himself in trouble, forcing him to do the same things he swore he won't do anymore.
Sometimes, no matter how much you try to avoid something, the more it's coming back to you.
Sometimes you can't escape your past as it comes back to you
A great timing. I came back to my ps3 to finally play this masterpiece. And it's a masterpiece. One of my favorite games!
25:37 lenny!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm currently replaying on my PS3 too and I can't believe I ever thought it was anything other than a goddamn masterpiece. It's amazing, Niko is a true legend of gaming.
@@tanyaflanagan8111 yeah, he is my favorite gta protagonist, and my second favorite rockstar protagonist after Arthur morgan. Didn't expect that honestly. But wow he is amazing. And the game obviously.
While I agree with almost everything here. I gotta disagree with your opinion on the canon ending.
It's all but confirmed that "Revenge" is the canon ending. Such as Packie mentioning that Katie is dead in GTA 5 and during the final mission of TBoGT, "Departure Time", Timur makes mention that "Dimitri Rascalov is dead." While Dimitri does die in both endings, Ray Bulgarin's Gwahar can be seen in background falling out of the sky during the final cutscene of "Out of Commission" - the final mission of GTA IV's Revenge ending - where Niko kills Jimmy Pegorino, meaning the two missions occurred simultaneously (this lines up with where Departure Time takes place in Liberty City, as Happiness Island can be seen from the area where the Gwahar is destroyed). In the "Deal" ending, Dimitri is killed by Niko in the same spot (and presumably around the same time) that Jimmy Pegorino is; ergo, the Deal ending can't be canon, because Dimitri is canonically dead prior to the events of the Departure Time, which occurs at the same time as the final mission of GTA IV
Oh hell yeah this is gonna be a good episode. Imma make some ramen and smoke a lil tonight and watch this 😌🤌
16:43 the music you mentioned actually didn’t play in the background back when the game came out, you should have installed the patch that doesn’t remove the music that got removed because of licensing got expired before making this awesome video 🤷🏼♂️
another small detail i loved is after most missions if u give someone a call u have a quick convo related to the mission
I'd have to disagree with your preferred ending. Niko knew what dealing with Dimitri leads with. And with his past accounted for, doing the deal just doesn't seem like something Niko would do. Roman was always obsessed with the American Dream. Niko was a realist. Recognizing that the 'Dream' is bullshit. But as you said, Roman was also happy to say "fuck you" to the 'Dream' if it meant to hang out with his family
I disagree Revenge feels more canon
Niko isn't dumb enough to trust Dimitri again
The gta 4 story is in my opinion so superior to gta 5. Actually the entire game could be deemed better than 5. 5 had heists and 3 playable characters which was great don’t get me wrong, but gta 4 had impeccable characters a dark gritty emotional story with so many twists and turns along the way. I will also not forgive Rockstar for restricting us in GTA 5 as much as they did. You could go everywhere and anywhere in GTA 4 while in 5, we really were only allowed where the story took us.
GTA 4 is objectively one of the best video games of all time. Glad i got to experience it
Truly the BEST GTA game ever made! Niko Bellic the best protagonist, story super deep, a lot of cool characters! 11/10
San Andreas is better.
