    Thanks for the review. I just downsized to the Q50 3.0t Luxe from the Q70. This car is much quicker (even with less HP), more nimble and generally feels more modern. But would appreciate it if you could provide some comparison with competitors like the A4 or 3-series.

      Hi. I was wondering what the drive quality is like. Is it soft or do you feel the bumps more? Thx

    • @jf5052
      @jf5052 6 лет назад +2

      Do you mean the drive quality on the Q50? It is noticeably firmer than the Q70, but in a good way. The Q70 felt overly soft and floaty, which is one main reason why I traded it in. The small sacrifice is well worth the gain in handling ability and agility in urban driving!

    How good is reliability and over all cost of ownership compared to a 2018 Acura TLX V6 SH-AWD? Which one would recommend?

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  3 года назад +1

      Well, it's hard to say. First, this isn't my car, I only had it for a week to review. Second, I haven't really had a lot of experience with Acura, it's not a company I work with to review cars.
      With that said, I really don't think you can ever go wrong with Acura (Honda) as they are pretty bulletproof. I think it would come down to the actual cars you are looking at. Have they been cared for? Has the oil been changed regularly and other maintenance. Who was the owner, an older person who cruised around or a younger person who might have beat on it. Also the mileage and the warranty would also play a part in my decision. Overall, I would probably go with the Acura for reliability, but I prefer the design of the Infiniti.

    Nice review on the Luxe model, but you forgot to mention a nice feature that the german cars don’t have which is remote start. I own this model and find the remote start very useful! I can start and stop the engine remotely with the key remote or with my cellphone. Also you remotely lock or unlock doors off course but the cell remote allows you to monitor the car. You limit the cars driving range if your kids drive it or if you leave it with a valet and it also locates the car in a parking lot as well. Some of these minor features are what make the car that much more enjoyable!

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  6 лет назад

    Thanks for your review! Try reviewing the Genesis G70 if you haven't already. The one great thing about Infiniti is that you can honestly get a good deal on them compared to other manufacturers/dealerships. Infotainment is still old as hell, but still viable and works good. The only thing I would recommend people to do is to switch out the standard run flats because they will cause a very bumpy ride.

      I have never driven that Honda so it's hard to say. I would guess they're probably very similar. This one is the Luxe model, there is a sportier Sport model too which might be closer to the Honda Sport. I would take either one, whichever one has lower mileage or is a better deal to buy.

      @FreddySherman  3 года назад +1

      You live in a windmill? Crazy! LOL, yes, it's near Indian Canyon and the 10.
      I am pretty sure they are the three levels. Signature is basic, then Premium adds some stuff and Luxe is full loaded with every option possible. If you are looking at a 2018, just go to the current 2021 INFINITI site as I think they still call the trim levels the same thing and you can get an idea of what is included with what,

      @@Sanchez-uh3uc Depends on a lot. The BMW is very, very, very expensive to repair, both parts and labor. Are you a mechanic, can you do stuff yourself? Are you getting a warranty? I like my G-37 Journey Better! More natural steering. Way to much tech in this car, like a wanna be Tesla with a slightly more refined I-Drive System. Also the rear seat room looks smaller than that of the G-37. I might as well get a BMW 3 or 4 series as my next car, at least won't have to deal with all this touch screen crap!

    • @FreddySherman
      @FreddySherman  3 года назад

      G37 is nice but a lot of car tech has changed five years like this 2018 or over 8 years like a current model. I didn't notice any real difference in the steering feel.
