TSW5 needs to be the era and dovetail raking on 2-4 3rd party names to produce US content and get accurate data/sounds because this is ridiculous at this point. We deserve better!
As a boston local the HSP46 looks spot on (though the vents at the rear could be a little darker). The CTC-5 and BTC-4D (bilevel cars) also look really good! I can't wait for this to release.

So we get airbus aircraft but not a new US locomotive complete garbage, the san Bernadino line could have been much better if they developed steam further. In irl Santa Fe steam locomotive 3751 ran the route in 2014(there's plenty of video of this moment online) imagine being able to operate a vintage engine through the middle of a highway, but nope..common DTG L. I'd also like to laugh because unlike other route descriptions San Bernadino line has the shortest description!
People will always defend DoveTail and say “oh licensing is a issue” but the real problem is DTG aren’t willing to spend the funds and effort to lobby with the big class 1’s and/or commuter operators to license their image. Yes, corporates can be stubborn to make licensing deals but it can be very achievable if EFFORT is put in. But of course, we Americans are just an after thought :(.

I hope the other Boston route gets an overhaul with new PIS and some AI Subway trains on the mainline, and also, I hope for a Genesis Loco for Cajon Pass in Amtrak Livery.
I’m likely gonna end up getting the deluxe as well. Need the class 390. NEED. Really wish it was apart of the base route though, but dovetail is gonna market where/when they can! 🫤

I hope they make the VR version for other headsets. I have the HTC Vive and the Pimax Crystal Light and would love to have it on PC to use. I would also love to see more American freight routes.
Hey, great work on this video. I can't wait for TSW5 there are two features that I would really like to see, one is RT (Ray Tracing) and the other is 120 HZ redeeashrate support for 9th Gen consoles PS5 & series S&X and PC. The new console and pc can handle it.
It would tank performance just by itself and cause the game to run like a slideshow. It's also pointless because majority of the time, it doesn't look like much. It needs to come with xess, dlss, fsr, etc.
I'm happy that TSW is getting new routes (Especially the Kaiserslautern to Mannheim route), but it feels like ohter routes than UK, US or German ones are (kinda) behing abandoned. Comparing to the anmount of theese routes, there are little to no other routes. Of course there are 2 scottish, 2 austrian, 2 swiss, 1 canadian, 1 french and (from TSW5) 1 Welsh, 1 Dutch and 1 japaneese route(s), and I get that TSW devs can't always travel. But maybe do a route near germany, or a route that crosses the border, Kaiserslautern to Paris Est for example
There's plenty more coming down the line. Just because you only get 1 route doesn't mean they abandoned it completely. The more countries you add, the longer you're waiting

Train games in Robots do have high definition meshes and models, look at Rail SIM Universe as proof.
