I’m doing disaster relief work in Kentucky this week and I met a Gentleman who happens to be a pastor in this area. HERE’s AN UPDATE- “most churches have seen a drastic reduction in attendance, if churches don’t get on board and try go on-line they will loose their members or loose most of them”
So I’m thinking and predicting that Watchtower is going to sell most if not all their KH.

@Jdub NoMo It is the only option for them. Everybody knows watchtowers dirty secret because of the free flow of information. Therefore they have to combat at it by going full online and we may even see a rebrand, they are still getting hit by CSA cases. I wish to see them fall.

Wally! Good vid as always. I actually went to a couple Zoom meetings right after they started them in 2020. I was already an atheist but was going thru some stuff, everything was locked down and i needed to hear other people. I quickly remembered why I didn't go anymore. Anyway.....they used to be on about, "brothers please turn on your camera." I was always like, nah. I'm good. Also I usually had in my phone. While driving and getting breakfast. And rolling my eyes at them. All they would've seen was the roof of my car or my face stuffed with pancakes. But no tie

I was a pioneer in the early 90's.... 90 hours per month..... Auxiliary pioneer had to spend 70 hours per month.... Interesting how they lower their standards

Maybe I’m wrong about this, but I think they have this campaign for new bible studies because people are leaving in droves. At least, that’s what I hope. If that’s the case, this is why channels like yours is so important. Not only to warn people about this destructive organization, but to hopefully help those still in.

The best questions I have asked any JWs is.
1. Do you 100% without any reservations or doubts absolutely believe in the existence of Jehovah God and Jesus Christ?
Have them really embrace this question because the next question is a powerful.
2. What would it mean if one day you discovered that this organization was not "The Truth"?
This question directly attacks the 1st question because if the organization was not "The Truth" then they just said Yes they believed without a doubt that Jehovah existed.
3. The Final and most important question is does Jehovah still exist in the event that a person discovers that JWs annd Watchtower is a false religion?
The JWS organization was started by men who were out for themselves for both power and money as in Russell and Rutherford . These men created a gospel that was tainted with apostasy in the commercialism of literature they printed and published themselves.
They proclaimed and asserted that they were truthfully interpreting the bible like no other Christian based organization when in reality they were lying and deceiving the public to make their organization grow and develop in their own way, it was about their own initiative and self serving interests. These men made themselves into glorified empowered demi gods in a Kingdom they built themselves, valued today into the billions $$$
But why though? They got nothing of that for themselves. I believe it's a lying cult, but Russell's and Rutherford's families didn't get rich by it

Well, as usual, the GB doesn't follow their own advice or admonition. They talk down about every type of leader (be it in government, religions, etc.) in order to elevate their own status in people's eyes. Hypocrites is what they are!
The less a JW thinks, the more he will obey. The more he obeys, the more he will be a slave to Watchtower society. The team that has been selected to surround the 8 "chiefs" must be those who think as little as possible so as not to upset the 8 gurus.

Door to door returning (on our timetable) just in time for (our planned) campaign to start Bible studies, such a sign of food at the proper time.
In UK we have a furniture store called DFS, it is a starting joke that they never don't have a sale on. JWs announcing a campaign to offer Bible Studies is like DFS announcing a sale.
Big concern though for in person conventions - will that mean no GB talks online to laugh at?
Are they really conducting bible study and teach about Jehovah and lord Jesus or bible study and teaching about how to be a member of their organization and become their fellow disciples of their religious organization?

Growing up, it was a 45 minute drive to and from the KH. I know for a fact that my parents would have *never* gone back to the KH if Zoom was a thing in the 80/90’s.
What about the sisters in rural South America that have to hike three hours through crocodile infested rivers to get to the kingdom hall
@@cygnustsp oh we had our own version of that story where sisters had to don boots and snow pants over their dresses and walk through massive snowdrifts in subzero temperatures to get to the Kingdom Halls. There was also the story of the “snowmobile memorial” where ministerial servant drove the emblems to the homes of the “important” brothers (basically anyone with privileges) on his snowmobile during a spring blizzard.

Wow! This shows what pathetic and boring lives JWs have .To get so excited about a random phrase from the bible being put on a banner over the platform at the front of the kingdom hall. As far as going back to the preaching work, what fake enthusiasm from Splane. You can see the insincerity oozing from him .In all my years as an elder I never found anyone who actually enjoyed the preaching work. When doing it they would walk as slowly as possible along the street chatting or standing on a street corner talking. When they knocked on a door where the person was out they would stand there as long as possible to pass the time. Usually after about 15 to 30 minutes of this they would then say they were going off to make a return visit and then disappear. It will be interesting to see how many will go out on a cold evening in the winter to the meeting, now often miles away, rather than stay at home and watch it on zoom despite all the cajoling from the governing body. They are worried that the contribution boxes are gathering dust in the kingdom halls.

Many also knocked very softly too i noticed. Even later in the morning or early afternoon 😂 and everyone always enjoyed break time and it would last much longer than what you would think of as a “break” 😂
So many people today have Ring doorbells that when someone comes to the door they can see who it is and not answer, or just tell them thru the speaker they aren't interested.

I definitely get a kick out of the memories these videos bring out in me too. I remember it was my families ‘Privilege’ to do the year text back in the early nineties. My mother would cut out the letters from this sticky side black plastic and 5 or 6 year old me would stick them on to the board with was some beige fabric stretched over some mdf board. Don’t know which year it was, maybe 92 or 93 but I remember proverbs 3:5 pretty vividly. Our Kingdom Hall was super poor rural New Zealand (Gore congregation) and stuck in a pre-75 era decor. Mustard carpet, orange plastic chairs, paisley green curtains, skin coloured doors, brass fittings, mint green toilets, fake stone internal walls, a picture of that convention in the 40s at the yankee stadium, the complete kingdom melodies on vinyl. Been 20 years or more since I’ve been there but I remember it like it was yesterday
I don’t really think that after two years in hiatus that JW members are excited about going out and starting tons of Bible studies, LOL… I mean those angels better get on the ball! 🤣

OMG, how we anticipated the new year's text! It's sooo embarrassing to think of this now. On the other hand, it's kind of weird that this was just a JW version of a new year's celebration. Instead of a banner saying Happy New Year we had banners with some random bible quote unfurled around Jan 1, a worldly holiday. You'd think they'd do in on Rosh Hashanah.
I think it was a bit of sensory deprivation or information suffocation any thing we took as a sign/hope/blessing!

Brilliant analysis, Wally! I (a nobody) believe humanity would be better served by the angels if they rescued children from abuse and horror rather than follow JW's door to door. Splane, as you point out, lives in a different reality system from the rest of us, a system where his platitudes and aphorisms work very well. On line: I remember here in the state of Queensand, Australia, various churches of Protestant faiths and the Catholic Church would have on radio their Sunday Services.
This way back in the 1950s into the 1960s that I can remember.

I was never a JWs but I did regretfully agree to do Bible Studies with them during my last year in college.
I am a very stoic, skeptical and a critical thinking person. So you can only imagine how I was killing then with tons upon tons of critical thinking questions.

The governing body shoe horns what the Bible says to fit their narrative. I remember studying the Daniel prophecy book for the weekly book study. When they got to the section where they discussed the “king of the north and the king of the south” it was a convoluted explanation that was so difficult to understand. Watchtower as much as said…”this is the correct explanation…don’t question it”. Nathan Knorr put it quite well…”when it leaves the sixth floor, it’s the truth” or words to that effect. The sixth floor was where the printing was done in Brooklyn. Once it was in print, it became official Watchtower doctrine.

His reasoning about texts comparison is completely off the world: Textual analysis is not comparing 100 texts, mainly where the manuscript come from and when ( DATE !!!!!!! ) it was written. As you said they shut themselves on the foot. We compare all the biblical translations and we easily find that the New World is the least reliable one.

I guess publisher angles need to get in 10 hours to meet the heavenly national average and pioneer angels need to get their 70 hours in.
