When you are trying to get the anchor to spin up and into the anchor cradle, if you tie off the line tight, as tight as possible to your mast just before the anchor starts to crest the roller.....well then with the line tied off all you have to do is pull the middle of the line sideways. It gives you many time more leverage to get the anchor over the hump. A 100 lb woman can move a 5000 lb car up an incline that way.
I can’t do this but I live vicariously through sailing videos.

Free diving and anchor haul impressive... I use my Lewmar 55's for when the anchor to much to haul... Fair Winds...
I've owned about 1 sailboat a decade and I'm 67. Love sailing. I'm struck by the fact the sail you use the least is the sail most folks use the most. I'm also noticing where most sailers work for their keep, you seem to get mostly everything given to you. How many more episodes do you publish before Garmin gives you a autopilot ? Things are so much different today. In my day, everyone worked, now it's all content creators with go fund me and patreon. Go figure. A piece of advice, the last sharks and Mantas that did not see you as a threat or lunch, is not how you should anticipate future meetings. I'll keep watching and hope all's well that ends well. Maybe see you in the Bahamas someday. Never been. Love the location of your engine. Great location to give room to work.

Lauren there’s times one has to wonder who’s soul is more beautiful the life filmed in the water or the one filming ❤ might I be forward a bit to suggest purchasing a yoga wheel with the strain your back and body feel working the anchor. I was going to comment earlier however the timing wasn't really good due to the number ? Any way!!! Lauren so awesome swimming with dolphins and the sharks!!! I love sharks 💙 every time I watch what your up to it truly makes me happy. It's like fresh brisk air refreshing watching you dance gracefully every move you do is perfect I don't think people notice it however I do. tying lines, or throwing a loop around a cat eye... Your so awesome!!!

Sorry to hear about your GoPro issues. I just watched a video on the Gopro cameras and you aren't the only one having issues with them. My friend has an Insta 360 and he loves it. It even comes with editing software that has a lot of features. Might be an option worth looking into. I've seen some of his videos and the stuff you can do with it is amazing. I think it will definitely enhance your channel.

@@laurenlanders I’ve swam a few times with the wild dolphins in the Bahamas, but they didn’t get quite that friendly. The last time we were with them in about 15’ for about 30 minutes before a big tiger shark came and they split. Dang I miss the Bahamas, it’s been over a year
Yes definitely magical,, In my mind I will splice that ponytale rope end for you,, the anchor at swivel point, hmm, only thing that helps me is: pressure on/off n get a pendulum happening and then pull hard at the forward swing of the anchor, I do this with the winch, your anchor may be too heavey for this to work by hand, you could attach your snubber rope to the back hoop of your rocna anchor and up to a snatch-block attached to your pullpet rail then back to you, and pull chain n rope together, ( if its still too heavy, go 2 to 1 using 2x blocks with hooks )
so bigger roller maybe, new winch🙂

Dolphins are fun to watch, and they are MAGICAL, but every now and then, I hear of some attacking humans ! Luckily, I hear of more stories of Dolphins helping and saving people ! They are such a joy when you see them swimming along side you boat 🚢 😀

Considering your education and experience, could you do a similar video with text, naming the different coral and marine life? If there are some out of their normal range, that info would be interesting as well.
